Things That Should Be Banned...

Recently, a post on Facebook got the issue of the banning of firearms. As expected it was a liberal idiot who brought up the issue, because it is only SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for liberals to not only be anti-constitutional, but also to be ready to place their lives in the hand of the government and always be ready to take the side of those poor criminals out there.

This is what I have a problem with: the government (in whatever form: cops, firemen, etc.) cannot be there every time some scumbag decides that he/she wants to infringe upon our right to pursue happiness, or just plain survive. The famous line remains valid: why do you carry a gun? Because a cop is too heavy.

But for the bleeding heart sheep on the left, there is nothing in our lives that is worth taking someone else's life, that no property is worth a life and that fleeing is preferable to stand up and fight. And if fleeing is not an available choice, too bad.
I am convinced that the moral superiority these highly misguided people feel would suddenly disappear if their welfare was directly threatened and an armed someone was there to intervene, but I could be wrong.
The other major problem I have is that these morons do not limit themselves to their own personal choice not to have a gun, but they are adamant to remove my right to have one, as if my choice of being in the position to defend my family's and my life is somewhat less important than their Utopian irrational unarmed position.

Of the 25,000+ gun laws on the books in the United States, not a single one of them would prevent a determined criminal from perpetrating a criminal act, as demonstrated by the statistics of Chicago and Washington, D.C. where there are gun bans and where murder rate is rampant. How could it be if guns are banned?
Because laws are only effective if the person is law abiding. Criminals are, by definition, not too concerned about whatever it is that the law states.

But in the name of fairness, I wanted to list a number of items I also want banned, as they have been used in the commission of murder:

Moreover, as there is the possibility of committing murder by just punching someone in the face or by strangulation, every person should have their hands chopped off.

Message: Don't Get In A Pissing Match With The Marines

We have all been seeing the latest gotcha video of Marines taking a piss on dead Taliban fighters and we have all been treated to the usual indignation of those who are trying their best to shed negative vibes upon our Military.

So it is only for sake of argument that I write this about something that is really a no-News item.

What do I care if some Marines take a piss on some dead Taliban terrorists? Absolutely nothing is the short answer.

It is not a matter of just moral relativism, something that my friends on the Left are true experts at, but a matter of something called war.

War is not the glorified endeavor that has been shown by movies. In the old days, war was glorified as a noble occurrence, filled with chivalric characters who were portrayed as the champions of good against evil.

As higher education undertook the brainwashing of the youth of America, Hollywood followed suit and the image of the selfless hero disappeared, leaving the screen to the disillusioned hero or the mentally destroyed warrior.

In both cases war was a propaganda tool used for the advancement of an agenda.

In reality, war is a nasty and gross event, where humanity expresses its worst possible traits and tendencies; where sometimes the worst wounds are non visible to the untrained eye. There is absolutely nothing clean and noble about war.

Where good can be found is in the stepping up that American young men and women continue to do in defense of our Nation and our principles. Volunteering for any branch of the United States Military, especially the Army and Marine Corps, is a highly possible ticket to Afghanistan.

Service in that theater of operation is, as explained to me by several Veterans of that conflict, a mixture of extremely boring duty and shear terror. One sure thing is that the experience of combat in this war is nothing short of as terrifying as any other conflict of the past, including the "good" war, WWII.

The Marines in Marjah or Felluja, the Army soldiers and the Air Force FAC in the Patkia Province have experienced the same terror filled moments as did the Marines on Guadalcanal or the Rangers in Normandy. The only difference between the war of 1944 and tat of 2011 is that the Marines on Guadalcanal and the Rangers in Normandy did not have to concern themselves with some jerk taking videos of their actions and build a smear case against them.

My only complaint against the actions of the Marines in the pissing episode is that they allowed a video to be shot, and kept, of the episode. That's about it!

I will then be using the same approach as the liberal progressive use in apologize for the worst of human behavior.

You see, just as a criminal is excused by liberals because he/she was victim of some sort of emotional trauma by some person in their past or some circumstances created by republicans, I am sure that the Marines in the video acted as they did because they were emotionally scarred by some episode of their distant or near history.

Maybe they just witnessed a buddy of their being blown to bloody mist by some guy with an explosive vest attached to them. Or maybe they just witnessed one of those nice Taliban dudes use a child to breech their defenses only to become an innocent victim.

In any case, just the stress of combat is enough to justify a behavior that none of these men would most likely engage in under normal circumstances.

So the squeamish liberals can just go back to their rocks and relax.

I find it amazing that the news of 41% of all New York pregnancies end up in abortion gets no traction, but the shenanigans of some battle weary Marines is stirring up so much disdain.

The only aspect of the story that really pisses me off, is that thanks to the attention that the media is giving to the event, the Taliban terrorists and the corrupted Karzai suddenly have a platform from where gain some sort of devious and surely undeserved, moral standing.

If anyone is interested in comparing the actions of these Marines and those of the scum we are fighting, just search for Thomas Tucker and Kristian Menchaca, two American soldiers who were killed in Iraq in 2006.

Sacrosanct Self-Defense

The news of the Oklahoma young woman who exercised her sacrosanct right to self-defense has gone viral across the Internet.
Here is the scoop:
Sarah McKinley is an 18-year old young widow. Her husband passed away from cancer on Christmas Day. She was in her Oklahoma City home on New Years Eve when two armed intruders attempted to force his way into her home.
She called 911 and basically asked dispatch if she had the right to shoot the intruders. The dispatcher responded that she had the right to do whatever she needed to do to safeguard herself and her young child, a 3-month old boy.
Sarah is today NOT a statistic as she proceeded to use her 12-gage shotgun to terminate one of the intruders, practically saving her and her little son's lives.

This is the good news, followed by even more positive news that the woman is not facing any legal issues (I know! Why is this even classified as "good news" when it is only common sense!).

The 911 call and the particulars of the event have made the national news, so last night I am watching, against my better judgement, one of the local channel news from Los Angeles (usually do so to check the weather).
Using the report as a pretext, one of the station reporter made her way to some of the Southern California public areas, including some liberal locals like Santa Monica. Her stunt was done to gage the reaction of common street folks to the events in Oklahoma.
The people this so-called reporter interviewed were all women and the majority of them said that she was justified in her actions.
And then there were the cooks and fruits of California, clearly examples of the reason why the social fiber of this state has gone to hell.

One woman said that Sarah should have run away instead of defending herself. OK, what if she did not have the chance to run? And in any case, she was in her OWN home! Why should she retreat from her OWN home in favor of a criminal? This is the permissive approach the morons in California have taken.
On a side note: the woman I mention above had a very heavy Hispanic accent. The "surrender " approach she champions is the same that she expect every American to have in regard to illegal aliens: irrelevant they break the law, they should be allowed to do so without consequences!

Another woman stated that maybe Sarah did not have to kill the perp, but just wound him "...just, maybe, shoot him in the arm or the leg..." showing the extreme ignorance of the common Californian about the realities of crime. This particular interviewee said she supported the idea of self-defense, but that she did not have to kill him. Really?
These ignoramuses are so smoked by Hollywood crap that they actually believe the calm, cool and collected reaction people have to being in dangerous situations as demonstrated by Tom Cruise or Matt Damon is actual reality. They do not realize the mind-altering fear one feels when facing a predatory human being threatening one's life. Sometime there may be no chance to take a careful aim to the intruder's leg or arm. And regardless, wounding an intruder is a fast road to financial ruination as somehow some liberal scum judge is going to award your very home to the offender for damages.

The ones who really baffle me are those who hesitate. The interviewer asked the question: could you kill a criminal to defend yourself or a loved one? Some people could not actually formulate a response, a reaction I have personally witnessed in some debates with some of these spineless individuals. I sure feel sorry for their children, knowing their parents could not harm someone to save them.

The optimal situation is the one Sarah McKinley found herself: she saved her son's and her own life and the scum is dead. No taxpayers' money to waste on the POS and one less douche bag off the map.

Obama Surrenders America To Our Enemies

President Obama is effectively surrendering the Nation to our enemies in the attempt to insure that he can remain the Squatter-in-Chief in the White House for a second term (and possibly beyond, considering his total disregard for the Constitution).

On Thursday January 5, Obama visited the Pentagon, a rare occasion for many Presidents, to delineate his new vision for the US Military. Basically, he went to the place to rub in the face of reality a metaphorical thumbing of the nose to the whole Defense establishment.

Some in our country have been bamboozled by this man as a supporter of the Military, thanks to a willing press that has accentuated the actions of Obama and his wife Michelle.
Even some Military families have been smoked by farcical displays of executive support. Few trips to some bases and some well scripted words here and there have been successful in hiding the real disdain Barak and Michelle have for those who wear the uniform in defense of the Nation.
Empty words mean nothing when the whole regime is bent on rendering useless the blood spilled by our Military by allowing the losing of the war in Iraq.
Empty words mean nothing in comparison with the regime's direction toward losing the war in Afghanistan too. Our Military is still dieing in that conflict just as Obama is preparing to compromise with the Taliban (Oh, sorry, I forgot: the Taliban is not our enemy, right you moron Joe Biden?)

But as part of the electoral campaign, it is time for Obama to give a huge blow to the Military by telling us how he is going to cut half a trillion dollars from the defense budget, cut that will result in thousands of ground troops being separated and those retained will have even less to do their jobs.
Thousands of soldiers and Marines will not be allowed to remain in uniform; equipment will be hard to come by; training and operational proficiency curtailed. But the short sighted people will say that this so called president is hawkish about defending America because he utilizes the UAV weapon as his foreign policy tool.
The Obamadroids will say "but he got bin Laden" conveniently forgetting that the long overdue demise of that terrorist was handed over to Obama on a silver plate thanks to policies instituted by his predecessor. I am glad the scum bag is gone, but all accounts point to the lack of decisiveness of Obama in the hours preceding the raid in Pakistan.
Before we can all rejoice and acclaim the sainthood for Obama, let us not forget that the long distance, law enforcement approach to fighting our enemies has been tried already by the Clinton inbreeds and the results were seen on September 11, 2001.

Interesting that on the same day Obama announced that the nation's defense will be severely curtailed, news have surfaced that the administration is planning on sharing some nuclear weaponry secrets with none other than the Russians. Yes indeed, the Obama regime is intending to share some of the technical secrets of the Standard Missile 3 with the Kremlin.
I am sure that Obama's action follows the Russians "promise" not to share the information with any of our enemies, like North Korea and Iran, right?

For those of you who believe that the current concerns are created by Obama's lack of understanding of the real world, I beg you to open your eyes and see what the reality for our Nation is.
There is no way in hell that a single individual could be so moronic, after all Biden is NOT the president. So my conviction is that the actions we are witnessing, as reckless and non-sensical as they may appear, are being made by design.
The cutting in the defense budget, especially in the number of personnel, is designed to create an enormous influx in the unemployment columns of the Obama ledger. The more unemployed Veterans the better, as they may be more receptive to the false promises of the federal government.
Rampant unemployment will eventually foment civil unrest, but as we have seen already with the Occupy bullshit, the regime has been able to brainwash the masses diverting the responsibility away from the real causes of the complaints: a runaway liberalism of entitlement.

Surrendering America to the enemy has been a trademark for the Obama throngs, be it via apologies or tangible methods as the surrender in Iraq. The cuts in the troop level will flood the civilian world with the same same type of individuals that the regime has already classified as "potential domestic terrorists" and all while we share secrets with the Russian enemies, Iran is saber rattling and China continues to increase its military prowess.

All this makes sense only in the case that it is orchestrated by someone who viscerally hates the United States of America.

Another Feather In Obama's Hat

The count is very close to 4,500, tens of thousands wounded and their lives altered forever together with their families. And the Iraq war is over.

The end of WWII saw 440,000 KIAs for both theaters, European and Pacific. a staggering number regardless how you look at it, but a number that was not rendered useless by Harry S. Truman "ending" the war. The sacrifice of so many Americans lives brought the defeat of ruthless enemies not only of America, but of any speck of human decency.

Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were defeated, millions of human beings were free.
Did all evil suddenly disappear? Of course not, but the evil of the Jewish Holocaust did. The horror of Japanese occupation in the western Pacific did.

No war ever eliminated evil completely. The first World War was supposed to be the "war to end all wars", the Great War (how can an adjective like "great" be associated with war?) to eliminate evil, and, as we know, that did not work out too well.

Barak Obama campaigned in 2008 on ending the war in Iraq, a war he qualified as "dumb". Really challenging for my intellect to consider this idiot as my president. This is supposed to be the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and yet had the audacity to qualify the blood and sacrifice spent in Iraq as being for a "dumb" cause, useless at least until it could come handy in his campaign.

And now, today, we can clearly see that the concerns of many in the know and many, like yours truly, who just use common sense, are sadly coming true, as the Obama regime "ended" a war that has cost America dearly in blood. Sure, the cost in treasure has also been high, but that particular aspect of the war remains a point of great disappointment for this American. The Iraqi nation, with the riches it holds in terms of oil, should have been made to pay back the American people for much of the expenses to free their people.

So my main concern is that of the families of those who left to fight for their country and never made it home. These families are today witnessing exactly the disintegration of the efforts their service member paid so highly to achieve.
Sunni and Shi'ite infighting is back, not even one week after the last American troop left Iraq, just as it had been predicted: our enemies had all the time and opportunity to plan their return to violence once the date had been telephoned by the administration.

What is going to happen now? Clearly, it looks like the sectarian issues among the leaders of Iraq is as alive as ever and the so called leadership is more interested in addressing old hate than insuring the safety and security of the Iraqi people.

14 separate and coordinated bombings have killed dozens of innocent people and it is only the beginning.

The result of all this is to alienate the Iraqi people against the Americans. What do the common folks in Iraq want more than anything? Security.
The mode of our departure while aimed at boosting Obama's image with his lunatic anti-war fringe, is certainly angering those who will pay in blood for the Obama re-election ploy.

But even if I want to discount the vicissitudes of the Iraqi population, I still am horribly angered by the perception that Gold Star families must be getting these days, their loved one lost only to see the country fall back into unrestrained violence. Sacrifice for nothing.

I have said this before, but never tire of repeating it: wars are not ended. They are either won or lost. If the political leadership in America has become so spineless that the idea of victory against the enemy of the Nation is considered "extreme" than they have no business sending our boys and girls into battle. If they are not allowed to fight to win, they should not be asked to go die for someone political ambition.

I have met many of those Gold Star families as they buried their dead. There is no boundary to the sorrow I feel for them, especially right now when the sacrifice of their son, daughter, mother, father, husband, wife has been made null by the ambitions of some politician.

What am I talking about? The race is the one for the accolade of the worst president this Nation has ever seen, the candidates? Barak Hussein Obama and Jimmy Carter.
It is a clear toss up for many to qualify either of these individuals with the title of "worst" and even if my opinion qualifies Obama as clearly way ahead of his senile competitor, I must acknowledge the enduring attempts of peanut brain Carter to gain terrain over the young Marxist.

One round is today going to Carter, as the state news outlet of North Korea has divulged a letter of condolences that the former president of the United States sent to Kim Jong un in the occasion of the death of his beloved father Kim Jong Il.

Yes, according to the Norks, the letter expressed the condolences of Carter to the new tub-o-lard Kim Jong un and the rest of the Korean people for the untimely passing of the long time dictator of that country.
Never mind that the old porky pig can be held accountable for the death of unknown innocent North Korean civilians of starvation and re-education.
Never mind that Kim is responsible for violent aggression against the South Korean civilian population.
All this is not a preoccupation for Mr. Carter who has never been concerned about anything related to personal accountability. And now he is expressing his sorrow for Kim's demise.
The only thing the world, and especially the N. Korean population, should be sorry for is that the ass hat did not die sooner, possibly taking Carter with him.

And the fact that Kim Jong Il sought and achieved nuclear weapons must be another source of sorrow for Carter for the loss of such a man. Wonder if Ron Paul joined Carter in his sorrow. After all I am sure Kim's beef against the United States and its allies was provoked by our actions and who are we to tell the Norks that they should not have nukes!

Never stops to amaze me the level of idiocy displayed by some of the people elected in Congress.
Yes not just the idiocy of those who have been elected, but the level of stupidity that must pervade those who actually go and vote for these morons.
Barbara Boxer, senator from the once great state of California, has very few rivals in the realm of mental deficiency, but there is a congressman who just blows the Californian idiot away: Georgia congressman Hank Johnson.

I am not sure and I am not interested in finding out who actually comprises the constituency of this guy, but when an idiot like him opens his mouth, I become increasingly fearful for my country.

As the Fast and Furious controversy ensues, as common sense Americans are waiting for the moment when AG Eric Holder is impeached and taken out of the DoJ, we have the statement of Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA):

"I think this is another manufactured controversy by the second amendment, NRA Republican tea party movement."

Yes my friends, the criminal operation engineered by the DoJ to attack the Second Amendment of our Constitution was conceived by the same people who champion the defense of our right to own and bear arms. Utterly preposterous, I would say.
But not for the congressman from Georgia. And Johnson must know what he is talking about, as he did in the following video:

The Corzine Effect

No, former New Jersey governor Jon Corzine does not have any knowledge of the whereabouts of $1.2 Billions that have disappeared from the company of which Corzine was CEO.
The brokerage company, MF Global, a very appropriate first initials as they relate to Corzine, filed for bankruptcy, but the former chief is being questioned by the House Agricultural Committee regarding the plain and simple disappearance of $1.2 billion of customers' funds.

I am sure that if there is an actual congressional investigation, a truly honest investigation (I know, honest and congressional in the same sentence is an oxymoron, but I can hope), Corzine's involvement in the disappearance of the money would be all clearly apparent.
And considering the closeness between Corzine and Obama, I wonder how much of the missing funds found their way into Obama coffers. But we will never know, as the Chicago way is the law of the land in Washington.

And to think that the former governor had been Obama's choice for Treasury secretary. How much would be the missing sum? If Gaitner has succeeded in making so much of America's wealth disappear, how much more successful could have the finer criminal Corzine have been.

Obama Purposely Killing American Economy

Just another day at the office: Obama, via his cabinet minions, is purposely destroying the American economy in the obvious attempt to create enough financial chaos to spur civil unrest.

I know you are all saying that I am exaggerating the whole thing, but I will once day be proven correct, unfortunately.
As the Dept. of Energy is clearly exercising their power in handing out taxpayers' money to companies that, even as they fall into bankruptcy, are able to provide large amounts of return money to specific Obama donors, the Dept. of Interior is suspending the lease of Wayne National Forest, using as an excuse that the shale gas drilling process in Ohio requires additional studying in regard to environmental impact. But of course!
The study, which according to Interior will take at least 6 months, will indeed delay by at least that long the creation of approximately 204,000 good paying jobs.
And isn't that the "laser focus" of Obama? That and the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard?

The confidence of the American people in the integrity of said study should also reach the pinnacle of trust, especially after we just hear that the Obama regime pressured the contracting company ECSI to modify their report on the impact of recent mining regulations upon the mining industry. The company, after analyzing the new batch of regulations instituted against the coal industry, found out that the latest regulations would cost at least 7,000 coal jobs.
When the White House told the company to modify the findings to hide the job impact, the members of the researching panel refused, causing the non renewal of the government contract. In other words, ECSI did its job and was asked to falsify its report. When it refused, the government punished it by ending the contract.

The signs are obvious: Obama and its minions are bent on destroying the American economy. The financial ruination of our economic system is the fastest road for the statist despot to bring large masses of people to depend on the handout from the federal government. And depending on the federal government means that the government will take the decision making capability away from the individual and centralized it, including removing any and all individual rights.

And that's why Obama is purposely killing the American Economy. That's how dictatorships are born.

Obama Killing The Constitution

It is the Second Amendment that makes the Obama regime nervous, so, in the spirit of every totalitarian regime in the past, the attempt to kill the Constitutional right of the American people to own and bear arms continues.
The efforts are left handed, conducted by the minions of the regime, in this case the Bureau of Land Management, part of the Dept. of Interior.

This specific attack is directed at banning recreational shooting from public lands, which translates in millions of acres of American soil being off limits to shooters and hunters, especially in the West of the country, where the Obama regime has been on a binge of confiscating land.

The interesting part of the move from the BLM is that the decision is being made based on interaction between shooting enthusiasts and anti-gun morons. And it is not even based on the issue of safety, but in the emotional cracking that shooting noise causes in individuals opposed to the Second Amendment.

No, folks, I am no0t kidding!
According to Frank Jenks, a natural resource specialist with the BLM (by the way, BLM oversees 245 million acres of American soil):

"It is not so much a safety issue. It's a social conflict issue" says Mr. Jenks, adding that urbanites "freak out" when they hear shooting on public lands.

So, as you can see, it is a social problem, created by the emotional anguish that city dudes suffer when they are subjected to the cruel noise of firearms discharging.
Probably these are the same spineless bloodsuckers who protest the noise of military aircraft flying over as the sound of jet engines reminds them of the militaristic imperialism of evil America.

BLM also maintain that the expulsion of shooters and hunters from public lands is a decision to be made also on the amount of littering being perpetrated, but opposers claim that the parameter used to ban shooters is unclear.
What the BLM is stating is that as public lands are becoming increasingly populated, conflict arises from clashing of shooters and other land users. The BLM, they say, is continuously brought into mediate such conflicts and banning shooters all together is the practical thing to do.
That is convenient, don't you think?
Even if such conflicts are real, and I have my deep doubts about the veracity of what the Obama's regime says, why is the constitutionally guaranteed right of shooters and hunters trampled in favor of the whining of human mollusks?
And why is the BLM not including operators of off road vehicles in their policy? I believe there is more documentation of conflicts between ATV operators and urban scum than anything else.
And yet the regime is once again focusing on the Second Amendment.

The conduct of the Obama regime and its minions has been criminal in regard to the scandal of Operation Fast and Furious, an operation aimed at generating public outcry against the rights we American have to own firearms.
Every move from Obama to AG Eric Holder to senators and congress members is a continuous attack on our rights, and for good reason.
Disarming the American people is the best way for the forces of progressive liberalism to subjugate the masses to a dark age of tyranny.

There are some organizations bringing opposition to the policy of BLM, but not much can be done when the executive branch of government is successful in circumventing the legislative branch via pre-positioned judicial activism.
Ultimately, it will be the defeat of liberalism across the spectrum that will give us, the people, some of our rights back, only if true small government conservatism is restored.
Short of that, and every one of our rights will just plain go away.

Penn State Scandal: Disappointment

It sure is a disappointment for me to see that an institution I have always considered upstanding is really everything but.
The facade was impressive: a reputable school with a great football history, with a coach that had spent over four decades forming young men into productive members of society, even by just playing a game.

I have always like Penn State, and especially coach Joe Paterno. Not sure why, as I have absolutely no connection with the institution. I liked the fact that the team's jerseys did not have names, emphasizing the team effort more than the individual. Maybe the fact that coach Paterno's last name reminded me of southern Italy, where I am from.

At the beginning of College Footbal season, I found myself following the Nittany Lions of Joe Paterno, and hoping for their success.
The developments of the last couple of weeks have generated disappointment in me, as some ugly revelations have definitely tainted my opinion of Penn State.
And if the disappointment is there for me, I can only imagine what it must be for those who actually have direct involvement with the school: alumni, current students, parents, supporters.
In their case, maybe betrayal may be the better choice of words.

Should Paterno be held responsible for the alleged criminal actions of Sandusky? Probably not, but there is the letter of the law and the spirit of the law.
In the case of Paterno, it looks like he may have followed the letter of the law by reporting the alleged transgressions to the athletic director, who in turn may have attempted to sandbag the whole thing. But then there is the spirit of the law, or more accurately, the right thing to be done.

I asked myself what my actions would have been in Paterno's shoes, and in a situation like the one that appears to have been taking place, I would have probably personally taken the scum bag to the cops by his testicles, dealing with the consequences afterward.
I don't care if the accusations were "alleged", but the piece of shit would have not been on my campus until fully and clearly exonerated in a court of law.

Instead, Joe Paterno seems to have preferred to go by the procedural approach and follow the complaint to the athletic director. Even as nothing happened, he appears to have opted for the "sweeping under the rug" of the whole thing.
The students of Penn State actually rioted in the streets as the announcement of the firing of Joe Paterno hit the news, a testimony to the deep disappointment felt among that school's population.
No, it is not about football anymore, but about the downfall of an iconic figure that had signified so much for thousands of young people.

The reputation of Penn State, its administration, its athletic department and Joe Paterno is tarnished and will take a very long time for it to regain faith.
As for Sandusky, I think he should stop talking to the media and prepare for his day in court, because I don't think there are too many people who really care to hear his opinion these days.

Example Of Today's Leadership

Anyone who believes that the defeat of Obama next November 2012 and even the re-taking of the US Senate would easily solve the ailments of our Nation, is greatly misguided in their trust.
It would definitely be a good starting point, but the main problem remains that local leadership is infected by the same anti-American garbage that is occupying Washington DC these days. And nowhere more than here in California, is the liberal cancer prominent.

We have seen the results of unbridled liberalism in the mayor of the city of Oakland, California, one piece of work Jean Quan, who thanks to her official support of the protesters in Oakland should be held responsible for the violence that has taken place there. She told city workers to participate in the day of general strike last week, all city workers with the exception of the police officers who had instead to maintain order. That is very confusing to say the least, not to mention that such action would potentially place police officers against city workers. Divide and conquer!

Today, to the pride of California citizens and in the face of Veterans Day, another California mayor has succeeded in stealing the "scum bag of the day" liberal title.
Gayle McLaughlin, mayor of the city of Richmond, has declared in an e-mail to the San Jose Mercury News, that she will skip the city's salute to Veterans to join an Occupy rally.
She is unperturbed about the indignation she is causing, probably enjoying the lime light of controversy. She supports the Military, she says, by supporting those groups that are against any war, organizations like Veterans for Peace and Iraq Vets Against the War, groups that make that douche bag traitor Sen. John F. Kerry proud.

Mayor McLaughlin is another example of the uphill battle that America has in returning to rational, pro-American footing. These are literal moles that the cancer of progressivism has placed within the fibers of our society, and they are so ingrained in such fibers that it will be an gigantic, painful and long fight to overturn the damage done.
I, for one, am not a believer that the American people, the average American citizen, has the fortitude any more for such fight.

One Day At The Time

That is the way it has to be, as certain things cannot be rushed nor imposed.

I am a smoker, have been one for many years. I can say that I really gave into the addiction and habit when I turned 18.

Up to that time, mind you it was 1978, smoking was cool and gave stupid kids like me the illusion of belonging to the mature masses of adult smokers. But as life demands changed, so did the image that that cigarette took in my mind.

All through High School, that cigarette was a social symbol aimed at making me cool and accepted by those around me. Once out of High School and faced with the the need to establish a plan for the rest of my life, that cigarette became more of a companion than a social statement. I was definitely addicted.

The last 34 years have seen tobacco smoking going from a dubious, misguided symbol of coolness to a pretest for ostracism. We smokers have been maligned into a group marked for elimination via legalized persecution.

OK, maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but in reality not too much.
Leaving aside the restrictions instituted to protect non-smokers, restrictions which, by the way, I not only agree with but engaged in long before they became law, forbidding smokers to smoke within the city limits of a town, or in their own homes or in their vehicles gets really close to trampling the basic rights of alleged free people.

Smokers have been dubbed every name in the book from stupid to immoral. While I may be inclined to sort of agree with the former, I strongly reject the label of immoral just because I like to lit up a Marlboro once in while, in the privacy of my home bunker or of my car. And it would not surprise me if some of those who consider my smoking "immoral" for the detrimental impact it may have on others are fervent supporters of abortion. I know, nobody ever promised me that people would make sense all the time, or even some of the time.

My problem with smoking is that I really enjoy it. It does have a calming effect on my nerves and I am addicted to it. Only those who share the whole concept with me can understand. It is as if I tried to understand the addiction that alcoholics have: I can understand the addiction part but, not being a drinker, not the attraction to the feelings of intoxication.

Researchers have stated that addiction to nicotine may be as powerful as the one to heroin. Never done heroin or cocaine or any other illegal substances, so my comparative ability is very limited. What I know for sure is that every time I have attempted to stop smoking, the results have been less than successful.
Today I am on day 24 of my latest attempt to rid myself of this addiction. And I am doing fine, mostly because the choice was mine and while my family has been insisting that I kick the bad habit, it was my decision about the time and the modality of my attempt.

First is motivation: I have been a smoker for over three decades and even someone as addicted as I am can find a spark of lucidity strong enough to understand that that shit is going to kill me. So the motivation is simple: I rather be around those I love for a while longer.

Second is trickery: I have been telling my body that I am just delaying the purchase of the next pack until later. The mind wants to remove those chains but the body screams against it. Victory in a war is the collections of as many victories in smaller battles as possible. Two hours without smoking is a small victory on the first day. A full day is a bigger battle yet, and so on.

Third is stubbornness: one of the things that everyone has been telling me in the past is that smoking is as much a habit as an addiction. As much as I agree with that statement, the suggestion that I need to change my habits, that I must give up certain behavior that may be related to smoking in order to resist the urge is unacceptable. Let me explain.
The common approach is to avoid any action that may be associated with a cigarette. One of the best times of the day for me is when I first get up in the morning and have my first cup of coffee. Well, that first cup of coffee comes with a cigarette, probably the best cig of the day together with checking out the news on line.
According to common knowledge I should have rejected that first cup of coffee too, and checking up on the world. Instead I still maintain the same routine minus the cigarette. It probably made it harder, but I forced myself to not have to give up more than I had to. Plus resisting the urge for that first smoke made the rest of the day almost easier.

One thing I can assure everyone it will not happen. This smoker is not going to become one of those ex-smokers that many want to take to the woods and execute.
I am not going to preach to other smokers what they should do. It is a personal decision, just like any other behavior. I will try to help anyone who asks me, but will not volunteer practices that are going to make it "easier" because nothing does.
The patches, the gum, the pills, the hypnosis, the e-cig, they all are successful in their own way. And they are not. If you are looking for a way to quit smoking that will not involve pain and withdrawals and nervousness, save your money.
Any of those methods will help only, and ONLY if, you really want to quit. But if you do, than you do not need any of them.

It gets better. On day 24 is much better than t was on day 1 or 2, 10 or 23. Still get some urges, but they become easier to control as time goes by.
The reward for me is that my family is around me, that I can hug my grandsons without leaving them smelling like an ashtray; that my bunker at home does not reek of spent cigarette butts.

What it comes down to is that smoking, just as any addiction, is a matter of personal decision.
I will be a smoker for the rest of my life, but I can make the conscientious decision to postpone smoking the next one as long as possible and do so one day at the time.

Change The Law At Own Convenience, The Liberal Way

So, if I understand this correctly, the Dept. of Energy not only made sure that the California company received the money laundering loan they did not deserved according to any investment parameter, but it also made sure to attach clauses to the loan papers that would guarantee that the private investors would receive re-payment in advance of taxpayers, action that is not only unprecedented in the history of government loans, guess that is part of the hope and change crap, but it may actually be illegal, not that anyone is paying attention.

So what should we gather from this situation? Well, in the first place that the gangster-like approach to governing that Obama brought from Chicago to Washington pays off as long as one is a campaign donor to the Obama gang and the media is not interested.
Second, that there are really no known boundaries to the progressive hypocrisy.

There is a silver lining though. The more garbage surfaces about the Thug-in-Chief and his minions, the more Islamist radicals buy the farm. Wonder what sort of terrorist plot will hit the news so to distract the American people. Or maybe Obama will take the troops out of Iraq and send them into Iran.

And to think that there still are some people out there who actually have the balls to openly state that they love the man, as I heard some moron state to a TV reporter last week. The scary part is that people like this guy, and so many others, procreate...

Enough With The Debates

I have not watched any of the last two GOP debates and will most likely maintain that stance until the California primaries.
Why? Simple. The most important and crucial thing that must be accomplished is the defeat of the Obamadroids that have taken over the government. Not just the actual current occupiers of the White House, but all the appointed radical progressives that the Obama has infiltrated in every position of Washington.

The sparring between Perry and Romney, the cry baby shit from the mental patient Ron Paul, the gaffes from Cain and Backmann are grown really tiring for me. I want to hear the plan to cleanse the political scene in Washington of the cancer that has pervaded that place. I want to hear about instituting term limits for all politicians and to shut down ALL the governmental entities that are unnecessary for national security, at least until the budget is balanced.

I want to hear about how they plan on stopping the invasion of our country on the part of illegal aliens and uncounted radical Muslims; and how they are going to eliminate the strangling regulations that are killing small businesses in America.
And yes, I want to hear a pledge to investigate Obama and his minions about Fast and Furious, about Solyndra, about the farce of global warming and the billions of taxpayers money that has lined the pockets of criminals like Al Gore and similar; and looking deeply into the legality of what Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank and all the other liberal progressives have been doing while screwing the American people and telling us how much we like it.
Sorry but Nancy and Barney may like being fucked, I don't.

So I don't watch the debates and don't intend to in the future. I have the one candidate I will vote for in the primaries, even if that candidate will not, most likely, get the nomination. Such candidate is not saying what I want to hear but gets as close as possible. The result is that I will vote my principles in the primaries, but when it comes to beating Obama and his regime, I will vote for whoever will run against him.

The stooge must be defeated together with all the liberal progressives and the RINOs in Congress. It is the last chance our country has to reel back from the abyss of dictatorship in a peaceful way.

The Seal Beach Massacre

It was and is a tragedy, and it will remain a tragedy for ever more: a deranged man walks into a hair salon in the coastal small town of Seal Beach, California, and shoots up the place. The final count is eight dead and one critically wounded.

The POS is apprehended by the cops few minutes after the shooting not too far from the crime scene.

He promptly surrendered to the Seal Beach Police officers without any incident, after all the cops can shoot back, as opposed as people going about their lives at a hair salon.

I am very familiar with Seal Beach, California, in fact I work not too far from it.
It is a small community, with a fairly high income per capita, as every beach community in California.

But what is disturbing is the attitude of the people that are being sought by the local media for their dramatic coverage.

The local media, in its never ending uselessness, is placing person after person in front of their camera telling how unusual such a crime is in their community, how their sacurity has been shaken, how their sense of community has been so painfully shattered.

Really, folks, a senseless massacre like the one in Seal Beach would be just as senseless and disgusting if it had taken place in Compton or San Bernardino or South Central LA.

The fact that it took place in the "close knit" social environment of the beach town makes absolutely no difference in the gravity and shock value of the action.

But that was my initial reaction: shock! Terrible shock and anger that someone could do such a thing to other human beings. Then some details became known and the shock started to dissipate and the anger got even more pronounced.

It appears that one of the victims of the massacre was the ex wife of the bastard that did the shooting. In what appears to be a motive for the evil actions of the man, it looks like a bitter dispute over the custody of the couple's young son, finally pushed the scum bag to do what he did. The worst part, though, is that the woman had expressed her fear about the mental stability of her ex husband and his repeated threats of violence.

To make things even more disturbing, the man had already once stepped into the hair salon, where his ex wife worked, and threatened to kill her and her co-workers.
So my anger now is fueled by the knowledge that the danger for the POS to go off and hurt innocent people and nobody did anything about it.
Starting with the ex wife. He had threatened her and threatened to do exactly what he did and she was obviously aware he was capable to as she had lamented to others. And yet, she took no precaution. What compels a woman who has been threatened with death not to be armed?

Next is the owner of the salon, who was also killed in the shooting. Considering the man had already once showed up foretelling his intentions, should it not be a normal reaction that the owner would be ready to defend his business and his employees and his customers?
Again, this is not a matter of the criminal element in the surrounding neighborhood, or a matter of feeling "safe" in a specific setting, but a matter of self-preservation and the willingness to protect innocent people.

So no precautions were ever taken by these people even as the threat was there and was real. The gunman, according to the preliminary investigation, just walked in the salon and killed his wife, then proceeded to execute anyone that was within sight, even stopping to reload.
If any person working there or any customer would have been armed, maybe some of the people who died would still be alive today.

And I know some of you will make the statement that we cannot have shootings going on everywhere. To you I say this: if you can find morally superior to take away the possibility for a law abiding citizen to protect itself and other innocent people than to have a dead mass murderer by the hands of a civilian, than I have no use for you.

What if one of the customers had been a police officer and he or she would have used his or her off duty weapon to kill the bastard before he had the chance to kill so many, than it would have been a "good" thing. What would be the difference if it had been me with my legal firearm to take the garbage out?
I am sure that the families of those who were killed would agreed that it would have made absolutely no difference if their loved one was still alive.

There will come a time when every single American adult will have to make a choice between living under oppression or fight for freedom. And that time is being ushered by the forces of the political Left in America at an accelerated tempo, thanks to the radical living in the White House.

Seen This Movie Before

As I am forced to watch the losers who are "occupying Wall Street" and all the other copycats around the country, cannot avoid it as the media is basking in their moronic actions, I am forced to go back in time, about 30+ years ago.

It actually has been some time that these thoughts have been rearing their ugly heads in my mind, screaming messages of alarm that even my optimistic disposition has had to notice.

I was born and raised in Italy, definitely a beautiful place to visit on a historically charged vacation, but an even better place to be from.
To be sure, I want to insure you that I am not bashing Italy, but having had to live in that country until the age of 20, going through high school there and having to deal with the bureaucracy there and the social mentality, it was a breath of fresh air and a great sense of hope that I felt when I was allowed to migrate to the United States.

As an immigrant, I have a personal unique prospective on America for two specific reasons.
The first one is the age I was when I migrated. I was not a small child who only has a child memory of that past life. I had to deal with the public schools there and, once graduated from high school, with the mind-blowing unemployment that affected my age group.
Basically, there was no jobs available for young people just out of school. At the time, all males would be called up for the Military draft (on a humorous note, however bad the postal service was in the country at the time, it was amazing how the notification of draft would show up in your mail box two days after your 18th birthday!).
One way to delay the draft was to attend the University, which I did as I was waiting for my migration papers to come through.

The second reason is that it is very understandable for someone who comes from an impoverish third world country to be amazed by the unlimited opportunities of a country like the United States, but even I, who came from an industrialized country, saw immediately the difference in the two systems.

Here is the connection with what we are witnessing today.
30+ years ago in Italy, there was a pronounced class distinction that drove people's behavior. One one side there was the majority of young people like me, who was going to attend the University and after maybe 5-6 years graduate with a degree that was not even worth the paper it was printed on in view of landing a job, especially in Sicily where I was.
This created a situation where young people in their late 20s and early 30s would still live at home with their parents, unable to even considering starting a family and a life n their own.
All pivoted on the chance that at some point some connection could be made with some "important" person who would get you that coveted position, hopefully on a government payroll, which meant a job for life. And there was always the option of migrating somewhere else.

On the other side was the minority of those who were considered of a "lower class" who would not attend the University and instead join the manual labor force: construction workers, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, truck drivers.

For the common "upper class" person, it was a sign of social status to be able to call one of those in the "lower class" to get something fixed in the home or the car. The mentality was that a well-to-do person would not have to know how to use a tool. But everyone was a college graduate, even if broke and functionally useless without mom and dad.

Coming to America and finding a totally different mind set was, like I said already, a major breath of fresh air. I have always enjoyed working with my hands, so the ability of taking care of things around the house or on the car on my own was attractive to me, and still is.

And here comes my concern. What I have been witnessing in the last few years is a societal march toward the same mind set I escaped from 30+ years ago.
Every one is pushing for college education as if that is the only way to succeed in life. I have seen some reports that estimate that by year 2020, our country will have a shortfall of labor of about 10 million jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors. All the various disciplines will be affected: machinists, electricians, framers, etc.

It used to be that the average American could change the oil in his/her car, do minor repairs and build things that made life easier. Today we don't even change our own flat tires.
We have college graduates with the stupidest degrees, all feel-good majors that have absolutely no real life application. So the solution to land a job is most likely to end up working for the government or know someone who knows someone who gets you into some job.
Sounds familiar? Sure does, I have seen this movie before and do not like the end today any more than I liked it then.

Do not mistake my words for a rebuke of college education. I am a college graduate and all for it and I am all for the personal improvement in the field of knowledge, but it has to be useful knowledge and not indoctrination.
Fields like Engineering will lead to good paying jobs. Vocational training, like machinist and other manufacturing fields, will also lead to good jobs, especially if the current trend of cheap imports from abroad is reversed. I think it will, as the country may like the low prices for certain items, but it is also growing tired of subsidizing the enemies of our country.

What I see, and I have written amply in the past, is a conspiracy on the part of academia to undermine the social structure of America. The institution of higher learning are filled with progressive elements that have access to the minds of young people and are destroying a whole generation.
I watch the protester and feel afraid for America. They have been indoctrinated into hating the country, into hypocritical behavior. They protest corporations and banks, while dispersing their unhinged messages via tools from large corporations, wearing brand clothing.
They demand free college education, living wages regardless of employment, $20/hour minimum wage and open borders. And of course they demand the forgiveness of all debt, especially their student loans, the thousands of dollars in debt they accumulated as they were majoring in "Conflict Management Among Amoebas" or something like it at Yale or Harvard.
They demand to land a six figure salary job as soon as they graduate from college, because they are the elite, they are the chosen ones.

These protesters are instigated by the same people who have indoctrinated them, the same college professors who have never had to actually make a living or have had to deal with hiring someone. One element I find suspiciously missing among the protester is the message against the colleges: they protest the banks, but they do not protest tuition increases. They want their student loans forgiven, but they do not protest the exorbitant salaries of colleges' administrators which fuels the tuition increases. I find it a telling detail.

Regardless of this, though, I remain optimistic. The majority of the American people understand the reality of the economy. We pay our bills and we take responsibility for our actions. The difference can be found in the fact that the progressive minority yells the loudest and have the open support of the political leadership, to the point of justifying violence.
We, the silent majority, will return the country to a rational, sane place in due time. What it will take is that we stop being so silent and we get informed about the issues that afflict our society.
We really do not have a choice in the matter, because there is no other country we can escape to if America fails.

And there is one major component to my optimism: our Military. A large part of the new generation is composed of men and women who have served in the Military, with combat tours, and who know personally what sacrifice really is. They have lived it and they will bring that experience to the work force, to our social landscape.

So, get informed and speak your mind. Put pressure on the most elitists members of our society, the politicians and make them understand that we want America to remain the the beacon of freedom and opportunities for all those who are willing to play according to the rules.

Personally, I do not want to see that movie again!

The Regime Strong Success At Intimidation

It has been already established that the Obama regime is an everlasting failure. Even former President Jimmy Carter is appreciative to Obama for removing the attribute of "worst presidency" in the history of our country from the useless peanut farmer.

But there is one arena where the Obamadroids have been and continue to be successful: open intimidation.

We all know the latest developments in regard to operation Fast and Furious, the Obama administration strategy for the destruction of the 2nd amendment of the Constitution. Eric Holder, the disgraceful Attorney General, has been caught perjuring himself to the Judiciary Committee, mostly thanks to a CBS, yes I said CBS, reporter Sharyl Attkisson who has been digging into this story from the beginning.
It appears that the regime is not too happy with Ms. Attkinsson as explained in the following article:

It must be a struggle for the Obamadroids to see a member of the MSM, their fierce ally, turning up so much dirt from the emperor's palace, so I can almost understand the frustration that these alien droids must be feeling when one of their own has left the plantation.

There is a very telling portion of the article I want to focus on:

"[The White House and Justice Department] will tell you that I'm the only reporter--as they told me--that is not reasonable. They say the Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable, I'm the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think I'm unfair and biased by pursuing it".

If this is not a clear demonstration of what our country is up against in regard to the media, I do not know what could be. For the liberals unable to comprehend outside the confines of their own talking points, the excerpt demonstrates that the word "reasonable" stands to describe the fact that regardless of the gravity of the administration corruption, the main stream media will for ever be an apologetic arm of the Obama regime. So much for un-bias reporting!
Being "reasonable" only means that the White House refuses to accept the responsibility for another failed policy, one that was instituted to advance the agenda of the progressive President aimed at the disarmament of the American people.

Obama and his minions want to take away the right we are afforded by the Constitution to own firearms, a main obstacle for these characters toward the subjugation of all of us.
I do not know the political leanings of the reporter, Ms. Attkinsson, nor I care about them as long as she continues to inform us of the corruption and down right criminality of those involved in this disgraceful operation. They must be held accountable for the death of many and especially for that of Border Agent Brian Terry.

The Bill To Nowhere

I am not sure if it is the blatant lack of urgency or the blatant middle finger to the face of the millions of unemployed Americans that pisses me off the most, but the shenanigans taking place in Washington these days are truly disgusting.

One one side we have a progressive President and just as progressive liberal establishment exemplified by the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who are showing no intention whatsoever to address the unemployment issue in our country. There is an alleged Jobs Bill that Obama is championing with a price tag attached to it of $447B supposedly being paid for by tax increases levied from the famous "rich" of America (basically anybody still with a job).

On the other side we have the Senate Minority Leader, Republican Mitch McConnell, also playing politics and urging Reid to sand the alleged bill to the Senate floor for an immediate vote. Yes, McConnell's is trying to embarrass the President by having his bill being defeated in the Democrat controlled Senate, knowing well that it would never pass in the Republican controlled House.

Ultimately, both sides are basically using the millions of unemployed as political pawns, something the scum in Washington has become really proficient at doing.
Nothing has obviously been learned by these people from the 2010 elections, when the people demonstrated that they were willing to give the pink slip to status quo politicians.

The truth of the matter is that the so called Jobs Bill is just as useless as the famous bridge to nowhere, because it is nothing more than another intrusion of an overbearing government in the people's business.
There is no bill that is going to fix the economy, no Washington policy that is going to spur the creation of new jobs. Exactly the opposite, because every time the government is "magnanimous" it also attaches controlling strings to it, increasingly interfering in the lives of the people.
It is the removal of strangling regulations upon the private sector that may accomplish a slow economic recovery. It is the removal of countless layers of bureaucratic non-sense, of overlapping agencies and commissions that is going to at first encourage the trust of small businesses to get back at producing and, consequentially, creating jobs.

Harry Reid knows very well, just as McConnell does, that the abortion called Jobs Bill would never pass, not even the liberal controlled Senate, so he is trying to buy time by "tweaking" it, by modifying it so that it would at least have a chance in the Senate, even as it is certain not to pass the House.
And while the Senator from Nevada promises to bring the bill up for a vote by the end of October, unemployed folks, at least those who are really desiring to find meaningful employment, are left out hanging on political infighting. Thanks you, Washington!

It is my prediction that the bill will not make it to be voted on.
May it be because campaigning will trample the needs of the people or because the throngs of unwashed protesters will cause the so needed "crisis" Obama is looking for, but the bill will never see the light of day. If it does, it will be due to the ability of liberals to cower the establishment Republicans into submission, again!

I saw a poster on Facebook that said: "The Founding Fathers would be shooting by now"
As much as I do not subscribe to the violent conflict resolution, I can actually understand the frustration that the majority of Americans have toward the garbage we are being fed from the political elite; toward the blatant attempt to circumvent the Constitution; toward the continuous attempt to replace the principles of our Nation with tyranny.

Yes, the Founding Fathers would be shooting by now.

Time For Holder To Go

Actually, it has been time for a long time, at least since he allowed the case against the New Black Panthers to go away after the group intimidation of voters in Philadelphia in 2008.

But now it is not even a matter of philosophical and ideological differences with the US Attorney General, it is instead a matter of criminal behavior, pure and simple.
The latest is that Holder actually testified falsely about his knowledge of operation Fast and Furious, which allowed thousands of firearms to be channeled into Mexico from the United States and found their way into the hands of the drug cartels south of the border.
Holder testified in May 2011 to the Judiciary Committee that his knowledge of the operation dated back about three weeks, but now official memos prove that Holder was receiving consistent reports about the operation at least 10 months earlier.

So now it is a clear cut case of perjury, pure and simple. And the Attorney General should do the only honorable thing left at his disposal and just quit, saving the country the necessary inconvenience to impeach the bastard and fire his ass.

I am not holding my breath, though. In the first place, there is nothing honorable in the man. He is a stooge of the Obama regime, viscerally dedicated to the ideology and agenda of his boss, including the subversion of the U.S. Constitution if necessary to achieve the goal of his masters.
Secondly, Holder appears to place himself above the law and the rights of the American people, and he's doing so successfully, thanks to an administration that protects him and a media that is not interested, although this appears to be changing as the reports done by none other than CBS News have been not short than accusatory.

Imagine, just for fun, if the mess of Fast and Furious would have been happening under a Republican president, with a Republican AG. Does anybody doubt that there would be a frantic crescendo of demands for the heads of the AG and of the President?
I did not think so.

In any case, Holder says now that he did not really comprehend the question of the Judiciary Committee last May and that is why he gave the answer he did.
So just to make things clear, ignorance of the law is only a justified excuse for politicians and their appointees, only for the elite upper crust of our leadership class.
For the rest of us common slobs, we actually have to follow the rules and the law even if we do not know the law.
Unless of course you are an illegal alien, a Marxist, a radical Muslim or a black criminal. In any of those cases, Attorney General Eric Holder will make sure that your rights are more than safeguarded, even if it means to trample the rights of all other American citizens.

Protest Lacks Clarity Of Scope

The brightest stars of the college campus student population is demonstrating against Wall Street in New York, but unclear are the motivations behind the action.

This should probably be Part II of the previous post, as the forces of the progressive left are preparing the battle field.
It would be interesting to analyze the demographics of those who are camped outside Wall Street and who are trying to get this demonstrations some traction across the country, but I am positive that the involved media will steer clear of any of that as it may again demonstrate the failure of policies of entitlement.
It is my wager that the majority of those who are taking it to the street are college students who are attending some brainwashing institution of higher learning on someone else's dime.
The images from New York are a direct contrast with those we saw few weeks back from Atlanta, for example, where thousands of unemployed lined up for the chance to find work at a Job Fair.

And there is where I see the example of the decadence that our country has fallen into, all thanks to the policies of political correctness and economic justice.
Political correctness is the cancer that will kill our Nation if we do not fight it.
And I have a different take on economic justice: economic justice, in my book, is the ability of every single person in America to have a say in his/her economic development.
For so many decades, since Pres. Lyndon Johnson started the "war on poverty" champions of Marxism have pushed for giving those who rather be unproductive, a share of the fruits of someone else labor.

The target these days for the push on the Marxist version of economic justice as championed by people like Van Jones, and Obama, is the big corporations, or so the left would want to portray.
Now, I am not necessarily a big fan of large corporations, mostly because they can develop and abuse strong power upon politicians (example: General Electric), but large corporations have their place in a capitalistic society, as they provide employment and benefits for thousands of people. Moreover they provide financial independence for those who invest in their stocks.

But while the left is seemingly focusing on these large companies, aided by a complacent media, their real target is the private business in general.
Every small business owner, the type of American who decides to take a personal risk and is willing to work hard for it, has dreams of developing the business into a large operation. There may not be a desire for a multi-billion dollars conglomerate, but the aspiration to growth that would insure financial independence is a definite driving force.
Independence from whom, you may ask. Well, from a boss to begin with, but mostly from government.
And that, you see, is the problem that the left has against entrepreneurship.
So the battle of the left against business, while it is namely aimed at large corporations, is instead truly targeting the private business sector.
The way the government has to stifle private enterprises is by instituting oppressive regulations that are designed not to protect the consumer or the environment, but instead are designed to render impossible conducting businesses. When the government imposes stringent regulations on an industry, compliance almost always comes at a heavy cost for the business, cost that many small enterprises are not able to afford. The result may be devastating for the business and for those who are employed there.
Who really benefits from these regulations and their consequences? Large corporations, the evil large corporations who have pockets deep enough to be able to implement the changes. The result is the destruction of competition and higher costs to the consumer and larger profits for the larger company.

In retrospect, the beneficiaries of the attack from the left against large corporations are the very entities being attacked. And they write the biggest checks to political campaigns, especially those of liberal politicians.
Those Wall Street tycoons that the protesters seem to be targeting are also some of the largest contributors to the causes of crony socialism masked as progressive liberalism. These greedy people are the ones who benefit greatly from the bailouts the Obama regime has designed for them in the last three years.
Solyndra was a corporation who represents the very essence of crony socialism as it benefited from an out of control central government wasting enormous amounts of taxpayers' money, money that is not there but is being borrowed against the security of future generations, only to pursue a political agenda.
And just last week even more taxpayers' money was adjudicated to even more companies for the same reason, one of these companies with close ties with a corporation whose number two is Nancy Pelosi's brother-in-law. But of course, this is pure coincidence.
Just as it is coincidence that on the board of one of the banks, evil banks, that benefited from the government bailout, sat the husband of Congresswoman Maxine Waters.

And we wonder why the protest lacks of clarity in its purpose? But then there is the "other" possibility: that the forces of the left, the forces pushing for protest, the forces demanding "economic justice" may be pronged by those who are looking for a season of civil unrest, one of those crisis that cannot go to waste, which would call for "unprecedented measures" on the part of the government to protect the American people.

Only time will tell, but we need to be prepared.

Preparing For Revolution

Van Jones. A name and a guarantee.

Last week during a radio interview, the former Obama green job czar made a clear statement that the forces he is so desperately trying to master, the progressive forces, will be turning to violence in order to become relevant again.

"...I think everybody should hold onto your seats. October is going to be the turning point when it comes to the progressive fight back..."

"...we are going to build a progressive counterbalance to the tea party. 80% of Americans agree with everything you say on this show but we have no voice. We know that jobs are more important, phoney made up deficit stuff they talk about. We know that people who have done well in America should do well by America and start paying America back in the form of more fair taxes. people who benefitted from the bailouts and from the tax breaks should start paying America back. They’re doing great. everybody else is suffering. That’s 80% of the majority. We’re going to now have a voice. You’re going to see an American fall, an American autumn, just like we saw the Arab spring. You can see it right now with these young people on wall street. Hold onto your hats. We‘ll have an October offensive to take back the American dream and to rescue America’s middle class..."

So, let me see if I understand. Van Jones is calling for the American youth to pour into the streets and promote a revolution, just like we saw in the Middle East last Spring.
In the first place, that would mean that the treatment Osni Mubarak received in Egypt, for example, will be given to Jones puppet master Barak Obama. Is this what Jones is calling for? The removal of the President of the United States? The takeover on the part of the liberal progressive Marxist throngs of our republic?
That is what I gather from the words of this master agitator. He mentions the protesters that have been showing up in New York's Wall Street, and there was a small protest in Boston where few people demanded to be arrested.
Regardless of the attempt of the state controlled media to make these protests relevant, regardless of the cameo appearance of the great pig Michael Moore and the hypocritical Susan Sarandon, who so benevolently stopped by in her limo on her way to a trip to Italy, the American people really could not give more of a rat's ass about some brainwashed college students making noise.

But there is a danger. The danger is that the violent rhetoric of Van Jones is supported and fueled by entities at very high levels of the political landscape.
Remember who Obama was! He really has nothing to show in view of accomplishments prior to running for President. He was a community organizer in Chicago, the land of thuggery. Basically not more that a thug agitator.
Jones had the confidence of Obama as a green job czar, basically placed in a position to affect policy without Congressional overview.
That, my friends, is called tyranny.

And there is even more danger. The forces of progressivism are swelled by union thugs, Black Panthers sympathizers, the Congressional Black Caucus, La Raza and the forces that want illegal immigration to be mainstreamed, the Council for American-Islamic Relations and its terrorist friends and the multitude of college students that have been brainwashed to hate America and everything she stands for and on.

What progressives like Van Jones cannot stand is the fact that millions of American people have decided that the direction the country is going is not compatible to their desires.
It was all well when the anti-American forces of liberal progressivism were allowed to operate unchallenged, slowly eroding the very fibers of our freedoms.
Political correctness, racial guilt, class warfare worked very well in silencing the majority of the American people, who were also too busy making a living to pay attention. And let's face it, too comfortable to care.
But the moment that things got less comfortable, the moment that people started to see a definite and disturbing turn toward the left and socialism, the people decided that they were going to exercise their right to dissent.
Yes, it is our right to dissent, just as Hillary Clinton said referring to her attacks against George W. Bush.
The brutal attacks that the left has and still is perpetrating against popular movements like the TEA party has its origins in the fact that the American people are challenging the forces of Marxism in our country. And the left does not like it!
They are so used to achieve their objectives via intimidation and vitriol that having to actually debate in the arena of ideologies is a foreign proposition. Hence the alternative is to intimidate the population. And why not, it has worked for decades.

The only problem with the strategy, though, is that a lot more Americans are paying attention these days, as it was demonstrated in the 2010 mid term elections. And this is not a partisan issue, because many so called conservatives have been the targets of dissent for their compromising attitudes, aimed more at maintaining power than at doing the people's business.

The left is preparing for revolution, Van Jones tells us, but strangely there are no reports of disapproval on the main stream media against such rhetoric.
The folks at TEA party demonstrations are swastika wearing, nazi approving, bigoted racists for wanting the government to return to its constitutional role, according to the media.
Van Jones and his characters are freedom fighters for the cause of Marxism.

Well today is October 1st, so we will see if the threats of Van Jones will actually materialize.
I want to live you with a question: Do you believe that if, let's say, Sarah Palin had made a statement about a conservative American Fall like the Arab Spring, that the Media would have ignored it as they are ignoring Van Jones' statement?

Iranian Navy Flexing Its Muscles

Iranian navy officials have been reported to have stated that they intend to move some of their vessels into international waters just off the coast of the United States.

According to the report, the Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said that

“As the global arrogance (forces of imperialism) have a (military) presence near our sea borders, we also plan to have a strong presence near the U.S. sea borders with the help of the soldiers who are loyal to the vali-e faqih (supreme jurisprudent),”

If you remember, as the beautiful Arab spring was taking place in Egypt with the ousting of Hosni Mubarak, Iranian warships moved for the first time through the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean, causing the Israeli and American Navies to increase their readiness.

Now, the emboldened Teheran leadership is talking of placing some vessels off the coast of our country.

What is the US to do? Basically, international waters are just that and as long as the Iranians are past the 12 mile internationally recognized maritime limits, legally there is not much that can be done. Except that whatever craft present in the immediate vicinity of our territorial waters should be shadowed by fully ready, willing and able US Navy vessels, capable of sending the boats straight to Allah at the slightest sign of transgression.

It also should be made clear, through unequivocal statements, that due to the well known willingness of the Iranians to take hostages at will, any act on their part against any other vessel in the vicinity would be considered a hostile act with obvious consequences, even in international waters.

Such a mission on the part of the Iranians would obviously require a high level of logistical support and it is believed that the friendship between Ahmedinejad and Chavez in Venezuela, could give the Iranians the needed logistics. At the same time Venezuela is not necessarily around the corner either, so the whole thing could just be one of the usual bullshit muscle flexing Iranians are so well known for.

On the other hand, it is also possible that the Obama administration would agree with the Iranian admiral’s statement about American imperialism and give the Iranians the ability to get their refurbishment from our own ports or vessels, at American taxpayers’ cost. After all it would help Obama image around the Muslim world.

Ultimately, the US Navy should look at this as a great opportunity for some training in surveillance and possibly target shooting, provided that the Defense budget cuts the White House wants do not curtail the operational cost for our ships.

The Arms Of The Regime

I have been berated in the past for being too concerned, and even paranoid, about the desire of the current administration to be working overtime in the effort of reducing and eventually eliminating the basic principles that have created and sustained our republic since 1776: freedom and self-determination from any attempt of a central government at achieving despotic control.

Now, I am not saying that I have been proved right, at least not yet, but the interesting thing is that the proponents for a tyrannical change in America do not appear concerned about hiding their true intentions.

Following are two separate statements. The first one is from the Liberal governor of the state of North Carolina, Bev Perdue:

"You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixing things. I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that. The one good thing about Raleigh is that for so many years we worked across party lines. It's a little bit more contentious now but it's not impossible to try to do what's right in this state. You want people who don't worry about the next election."

I have said in the past that the liberal progressives, lead by king Obama, are working hard to create a climate of emergency that would allow the regime to take drastic and openly unconstitutional steps to curtail the freedom and the voice of the American people in the name of public safety.

What Gov. Perdue stated is her desire to address the “emergency” of the so called lack of cooperation among politicians by taking away from the people the ability to hire and fire politicians because their service goes against the will of those they are allegedly supposed to represent.

Interesting is also that she is looking for people to not hold their representatives accountable for their actions. How convenient! So some slob in Washington votes to reduce the rights of his/her constituents, angering them, and, according to this governor, the constituents should not hold it against the politician.

Moreover, who can actually guarantee that after two years, the government will be satisfied with the outcome of that limitation? What if the government deemed necessary, again for public safety sake, to suspend elections until further notice? Such action would basically eliminate the ability of the people to peacefully have a say in the shaping of the government. That, my friends, is called totalitarianism.

Gov. Perdue’s office released a statement following the outrage expressed by many, clarifying that she was only joking. Must be my paranoia, but I did not denote any jocularity in the statement.

Not satisfied yet? You still think I may be paranoid?

Ok, here is the second statement for your consideration. This was made by Peter Orszag, former Director of one of Obama’s strong arms for the regime, the Office of Management and Budget:

“To solve the serious problems facing our country, we need to minimize the harm from legislative inertia by relying more on automatic policies and depoliticize commissions for certain policy decisions. In other words, radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic.”

Well, depoliticizing commissions sounds really good, doesn’t it? Of course as long as the commissions are created, manned and controlled by the ideology of the regime. How come Mr. Orszag did not make such a call during George W. Bush presidency? I can still remember how all the Orszag of the left were up in arm by the Patriot Act, complaining that it was a clear violation of the civil rights of the American people. But suddenly, reducing the ability of commissions to represent the will of the people is a serious problem.

These political institutions this guy is willing to make “a bit less democratic” are institutions that our Founding Fathers designed to safeguard the interests of freedom exactly against the aspirations of people like this moron and his former boss.

So, if the call from these two Obama stooges is heeded, we would find ourselves with suspended elections and political institutions’ democratic substance reduced. A really dangerous situation to begin with, as the aphrodisiac that is power would take over the reign of the governing entities and the only resource left for the people would be to take up arms against the despots and reclaim the Nation.

That is if We the People will resist the already ongoing war our government has been waging against our Second Amendment rights.

Well, just call me paranoid.

What Do I Look For In A GOP Candidate

Not that it really matters, but after watching some of the debates and reading and listening, I have formulated in my mind what I am really looking for in a GOP candidate to put my support behind.

None of the current candidates really excites me to the point to contribute my very limited financial resources to and even my time investment, so I am just sitting back and paying attention.

Eliminating the obvious candidates, like the Huntsman and Johnson and whoever else, those who are stealing the headlines these days are Romney, Perry, Backmann and Cain. Removing the obvious Ron Paul (please, we already have a delusional asshole in the White House, we don't need another!) I am really sorry that someone like Sen. Santorum is not mustering enough support from Conservatives. Is he the perfect candidate? Of course not, but I sort of respect his conservative stance on most issues. I really don't see that the Senator will be able to hang in there or that there could be a turnaround among American conservatives. Hope I am wrong, after all I was at the early stages of the 2008 campaign when I thought McCain was a goner and yet we were stuck with him as a candidate.

Mitt Romney, as polished as he can be, reminds me too much of someone like Mass. Sen. Scot Brown: a compromising-searching Republican who is way too compromising.
I am all for compromising as long as things get done. These days, unfortunately, compromising really means bowing to the demands of a liberal progressive establishment that has taken our Nation to the brink of destruction.

Rick Perry is a real disappointment, especially when it comes to his views on illegal aliens and, as a believer in the absolute necessity to get a hold on the illegal immigration issue, his stance is not much different than that of Bush. We have tried it their way and it has blown off right in our faces.

Michelle Bachmann has some potential good ideas, but I believe that she is not electable. Not sure that I can pinpoint the reason why, but the way I see it, she not only faces resistance from liberals, but it appears that the Republican establishment is rejecting her.

Herman Cain. I really want to like him. I think his story is somewhat representing the American Dream, but at the same time, as much as I can recognize his potential ability in the economic arena, I think that his lack of knowledge of international policy is a non starter.

I also would like to support Newt Gingrich, for the sole reason that he has a deep knowledge of history and of the ways the government works (or doesn't work), but I cannot remove from my head the vision of Newt sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi advertising the global warming bullshit.

So here I am, just as I was in 2008 only worst, terrified for my country. The re-election of the Thug-in-Chief Obama would be the end of our country as we know it. At the same time electing someone that would just perpetuate the mistakes of the past would not be a real improvement after all, just a slow down in the digging of our national grave.
A lot of hoopla is being made regarding the possibility of N.J. Gov. Chris Christie getting in the contest. I used to like the man. I liked the way he got in the union faces and did not let them bully him into submission. But that was just in New Jersey.
And his opposition to the 2nd Amendment is a definite non-starter for me. While progressives have accused Christie of being in the pockets of the NRA, the N.J. governor has extensively campaigned and supported the assault weapon ban and opposed the right of NJ citizens to obtain CCWs. Hardly a supporter of the Constitution.
New Jersey is way too close to New York, and the idiocy of someone like mayor Bloomberg has obviously spilled into the next-door state.
Besides the 2nd Amendment issue, there is also Christie's rejection of any measure having to be taken on illegal immigration. He opposed the Arizona immigration law and stated he does not consider illegal aliens as "illegal" but undocumented...WTH?
And what about Christie's refusal to have New Jersey join the law suit against Obamacare that many states have brought forward? So much for fiscal responsibility!

Ultimately, whoever will be selected by the people to oppose Obama in 2012 will get my vote, but I am once again frightened for our future as a constitutional republic. My hope had been for Amb. John Bolton, but it is not going to happen. And even Sarah Palin, if she is as smart as it appears, will sit this one out.

What I look for in a candidate is very simple.

push to balance the budget by cutting spending,
return to the Constitution in regard to government intrusion into our lives,
remove strangling regulations upon American small businesses,
end crony capitalism,
shut democrats out of government,
eliminate at least 50% of all government agencies,
eliminate most entitlement programs,
WIN the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq by allowing the field commanders to actually do their jobs.

I know it's a tall order in the power crazy environment of Washington, but I still hold hope.

What’s the big deal about Solyndra

I am shocked, I’m sure, of the hoopla being made about Solyndra and the fact that over $530 million were given to a company that was already headed for bankruptcy.

So this is the situation: Solyndra, a California manufacturer of solar panels, gets a shit pile of funding from a family foundation of George Kaiser, a multi-billionaire heavily involved in campaign donations for Obama presidential bid. Because of the global warming bullshit, Solyndra applies for a government loan during the Bush administration, but the application is denied, mostly due to the financial uncertainties of the company. Obama takes office and the loan application gets a new life, including a much needed push on the part of the new Obama administration, which places pressure upon the Office of Management and Budget to go along with the Dept. of Energy and approve the loan to the company.

Solyndra gets its loan, but eventually the insolvency of the company forces its management to seek bankruptcy protection, as demand for their products is practically non-existent.

So what is going on now? It seems very clear to me. Solyndra used the loan money to build a state of the art facility, with surely a substantial portion of the loan finding its way in the pockets of some prominent figures. But with the bankruptcy proceedings taking place, all the recuperated funds coming from the liquidation of the company’s assets will most likely go to the original investors, like George Kaiser, while the American taxpayers, who foot the original bill, will get nothing in return.

And Mr. Kaiser and his foundation will be able to pour taxpayers’ money back into Obama re-election campaign, as the ROI (return on investment) of Kaiser and Co. is very lucrative as long as Obama has a say so. Moral of the story: I am an unwilling contributor to the re-election campaign of the Chicago thug.

Is this part of hope and change? Hope I have some change by the time Obama gets retired!

What If It Wasn't The American Flag?

Signs of the time. Distributing American flags at a memorial for a National tragedy is an offensive act.
According to every account of this incident, the students passing out the small flags to those participating in the memorial for 9-11, were not infringing on anyone's freedom nor causing any dangerous conditions to others, but the university authorities decided that, upon receiving complaints from somebody, it was time to stop such an offensive conduct.

This issue is now one of freedom of speech vs. university policy, but really I see it a little different.
What I see in this incident is the overbearing control that authorities have gained upon the free expression and actions of people. It is, in the first place, ridiculous that the passing out of American flags and pins would have to be regulated by some sort of permit. What such travesty does is place the controlling entities in charge of the smallest of actions.
The fact that the students moved their display indoor as the rain started coming down is insignificant, as that is a natural reaction. Again, according to any report, the new location was not creating any disruption or danger to any innocent bystander, but it appears that the reporting party was more interested in obstructing the organizer of the distribution than concern for the public safety.

My question is this: would the university have acted similarly if the items being distributed would have been pro-Islamic flyers? Or anti-Israel flyers? Or campaign material for Obama?

It is my opinion that the university would have closed an eye in any of those cases, if nothing more than avoiding a confrontation with more vociferous, combative individuals and avoiding any possible accusation of racism.
But when it comes to the American flag, there is no hesitation on the part of authorities to place their jack booths upon our necks. After all, those of us who respect the flag have more of a tendency to respect the rule of law and less of a tendency for civil disobedience and protest.

And maybe that is the basic problem today.

So this is what Columbia University has come down to: faculty and students orgasmic about the chance of literally breaking bread with a bloody dictator.

All, of course, is masked by the illusion of intellectual elitism that is so prevalent in the American universities and about which I have ranted about in the past.
Can anyone really justify such a behavior on the part of so-called educated class? What is the great attraction of someone like Ahmedinejad, a violent scum sucking two bit-despot?

This is the same institution that just last February booed and hissed a wounded Veteran of the Iraq war, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Anthony Maschek, who after surviving being shot 11 times and two years recovery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, was a freshman at the university and had the courage to come out in favor of the re-establishment of the ROTC at the school. He was shut down, booed and called "racist" by the throng of "open minded" students.

In reality, the reason behind the different "acceptance" toward Ahmedinejad versus SSgt. Maschek is very obvious, and it has to do with the fact that the population of our illustrious institutions of higher learning, both faculty and student, is in effect a true representation of the damage that unlimited and uncontrolled multiculturalism has created. The masters of progressivism soiling American universities have achieved the complete infiltration of these institutions on the part of American-hating professors, be them from the Middle East or from that corrupted and rotted baby boomer generation. Ahmedinejad actually represents to them the embodiment of the doctrine students have been brainwashed with: imperialistic America, supporting illegal Israel and always in search of ways to exploit less fortunate nations.
Ahmedinejad wants the annihilation of Israel, same as what the Columbia morons have been told to want too. SSgt. Maschek, instead, represents everything that is wrong with America, a "truth" that even Ahmedinejad has stated in the past.
And how does such a liberal progressive institution reconcile with the Ahmedinejad's hanging of homosexuals in Iran? Or the slaughter of innocent civilians during the unrest of 2009? Or the arrest, rape, torture and murder of women guilty solely of being a second class gender?
Well, the same way they react to the possibility of Iran having nuclear weapons and using them against Israel...a shrug of the shoulders.
After all, the merciful Ahmedinejad just announced that he is working on the release of the two American hikers, Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal, that his border police kidnapped in 2009. I am sure that the Columbia pro-Iranian faculty will get several orgasms out of the magnanimity of this great man (especially after we pay the $1Million ransom for the two assholes).

So there we have it: an American University demonstrating the difference between a place for open minded exchange of ideas for a better understanding and learning, and a den of traitors and conspirators against the security and well being of our Nation.
Bon appetit, dear Columbia university. Wonder if an invitation will also be extended to Ron Paul.

10th Anniversary Of The Day The World Changed

Today is just another day, or so we so desperately wish with all our being. But today is not just another day, just another Sunday. It is September 11, 2011, the 10th anniversary of the day when the world changed, radically.

The date is one that no real American will ever forget, as the images of horror associated to the events of that day will be part of the history of America for as long as our country will survive as a Nation.

We shall never forget the 3,000 souls that were lost on that day, nor their families who will forever have to endure an existence void of their loved one that was taken away by such senseless action. And their sin was merely to have gone to work.

But we should also never forget the way our Nation came together that day to repudiate the hatred that inspired our enemies and rally in the ever living strength of character that is so typically American.
We should also never forget those Americans who responded to such vile attack by joining the United States Military in the wake of the September 11 attacks, knowing very well that the chance of placing their lives in peril was extremely high.

These young men and women made the conscious decision to place themselves between their country, their fellow citizens and their families and the merchants of death that had perpetrated the murder of so many innocent civilians.
There are those who are well known because of their extraordinary valor which earned them the highest decoration of our land, the Medal of Honor: Paul Smith, Jason Dunham, Michael Murphy, Salvatore Giunta, Jared Monti, Robert Miller, Ross McGinnis, Michael Monsoor. These names are forever impressed in the annals of our Nation's history.
But there are countless other names that may be well known just to families and friends, who are just as important and whose sacrifice in the name of American principles, is utterly humbling for each one of us who calls himself an American.
Over 6,000 have paid with their lives for the protection of our country in Afghanistan and Iraq, and that tally continues to sadly grow almost daily. And even if statistically they are a small percentage of the 2.5 million Americans who have joined since September 11, 2001, statistics mean really nothing to the thousands of families affected by each one of those deaths.

Their names alone are the representation of what America is.

I have had the honor, as a Patriot Guard Rider, to attend the Military funerals of all those I listed above, and many more. As much as I will never forget the events of that tragic day in September, as much as I will never forget that act of war that changed our world for ever, I will also never forget the sacrifice made by so many young men and women who without hesitation stepped up to protect their country, our country.

So today, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary, I ask that we take some time off the emotional commemorations of those who perished 10 years ago and reflect on those who have died in these wars that we did not ask for, who died to maintain the freedoms we so dearly cherish and, once again, who died for the betterment of others. And at the same time, I ask that we redouble our commitment to make sure that those Gold Star families remain in our thoughts and prayers, and that we offer our compassion and assistance to the thousands of Veterans who have come home with visible and invisible wounds.

It is really the least we can do to earn a small measure of their sacrifices.

Soon, Open Carry May Be Illegal In California

So the hope for the law abiding citizens of this state to be able to protect themselves when in public rests on a personal budget dispute between two politicians. Isn't democracy great?

Open carry has been in the new lately, as the authorities in charge of issuing CCW (Concealed Carrying Weapon) permits in California, mostly the various Counties Sheriffs, have been rejecting just about 100% of the requests made by citizens that are concerned about the crime rising in our streets.
So, some citizens have resorted to a perfectly legal way to be armed when in public without having to break the law and carrying a concealed weapon illegally.
The contention of Sen. DeLeon is pure bullshit. Walking into a Mickey D, which fat ass DeLeon seems to have been doing quite a bit, and seeing couple of patrons with side arms is not a concern that pushes common sense citizens to call 911.
On the other hand, if an armed individual with ill intentions should walk into the same establishment, those "scary, armed people" could be the ones that may ultimately save your life.

Sure, this is 2011, not 1850, but the illegal alien invasion that scum like DeLeon loves so much have actually reversed the trends of time a bit.
The bill may ultimately make its way to the governor's desk for signature and I am most convinced that Brown would sign it. The question remains if there will be a legal challenge that would strike the law down and protect the people of California from another progressive move against our constitutional rights.

On a personal note, I have not and would not open carry. The reason is mostly personal, as I believe that the action could bring unwanted attention from potential criminals. The fact that the Sheriff of my county would not issue a CCW permit to me because I do not, in their opinion, have a "good reason" for one, leaves me at the mercy of luck. Moreover, local Law Enforcement is not very receptive toward such an display of our constitutional rights. May it be because of lack of knowledge of the law or the insistence of bleeding heart liberals calling 911, it makes it very uncomfortable, not to mention possibly costly, to engage in open carry.

But the big picture remains that the 2nd Amendment is very clear about the people's right to "...keep and bear arms..." and open carry falls squarely in the definition of "bearing" arms. But, as usual, liberal progressives could not care less about the Constitution.

Talk about trying to dilute the issue!

Sorry, you Bloombergian Muslim apologists, but this American will always remember 9-11-01 as the day when followers of the false religion of peace murdered 3,000 of my brothers and sisters in the name of their moronic god.
Obama can change the name of the day and try to masquerade historical truths, Bloomberg can suck the Islamic pole as much as he wants, but the reality remains that those who committed those atrocities on that faithful day did so in the name of Islam.
No historical re-writing will change the images of Palestinians chanting in the streets and passing candies as innocent men and women and children burned alive in the towers and on the hijacked airplanes, or leaped to their deaths or were annihilated in the collapse of those buildings.

I have been a long time supporter of the action in Afghanistan and of the idea of taking the fight to the enemy. There is only one way to deal with folks who fly planes into buildings full of innocent people in pursuit of some religious martyrdom, and that is to go to their homes and kill them.
But now I am tired of this bullshit!
I am tired of a government that has no clear agenda about winning a war that must be won. The stooges in Washington are only interested in "ending" the war. As I stated in the past, and as it was stated by much more experienced folks than I, a war is not "ended" it is either won or lost.

The crap I read about the way our Military has to fight this war is infuriating. Just yesterday, as I attended a memorial for Fallen of Operation Enduring Freedom, I was told by the parents of an Air Force JTAC currently in Afghanistan, that during the month of Ramadan that just ended, the base commander would not allow our Military members to have hot meals as a sign of respect for the local religious activities.
This is the type of bullshit that tells me that the war in Afghanistan will never be won, that the end result of it will be the same as Vietnam and that it is time for our Best to come home.
Names keep on being added to the list of Fallen and Wounded, and what we are worried about is our troops offending somebody by farting?
We are concerned about offending people who consider a normality to stone women for the stupidest of reasons? Or beheading people for what they may say that can be construed as offensive to Islam?
I find offensive that these people use handicapped people to carry out suicide bombings. I find it offensive that suicide bombers approach checkpoints manned by our Marines holding children by the hand, knowing that our Marines will not indiscriminately shoot children, killing our Marines.

There is something definitely wrong with the way the war is being conducted. We either seek victory or we must take the troops home. The current administration has never mentioned the word "victory" so I am inclined to believe that it is not the goal, therefore I say BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!

Accepting Shariah Law Into The United States

Now of course I am not as intellectually capable as the author of this piece, an assistant professor of religious studies at Yale, but I have no reservation about refuting the message that this guy is sending.

In my opinion, the problems with the Jewish population the man is describing taking place in Europe in the past couple of centuries was more of an economic one than religious. Religion was used as an excuse to mask the envy that the imperial houses of the old continent felt about the ability of Jews to be aggressive and successful in commerce.
Even so, the application and following of what Stern calls Jewish Law, was not so radically different from the normal laws followed by the Christian population of Europe.
My understanding is that with the exception of observing the Sabbath, which Stern mentions himself in his article, the Jewish population did not expect special treatment from governmental entities, nor it considered or demanded that their laws would supersede those of the countries they lived in.
Regardless of whatever false excuse Adolf Hitler used to convince the German people that the Jews were conducting socio-economic covert warfare against the people of Germany, it was a misconstruction that had no basis on reality, but only propaganda.

What Prof. Stern is telling us is that American rejection of Shariah law is a crusade, a word that goes beyond the mere rejection of the radicalized form of Islamic law, but a word that has extreme inflammatory significance for Muslims, a crusade against Islam and a refutation of the basic democratic principles of American traditions. Stern is practically telling us that the true exhibition of American exceptionalism would be to become tolerant and embrace the directives of Shariah law.

The part of the article that appeared to me as a telling example of naivete is the following:

"...Given time, American Muslims, like all other religious minorities before them, will adjust their legal and theological traditions, if necessary, to accord to American values..."

What is Stern really saying? Is he calling for allowing Shariah law to supersede the laws of the country in the hope that at some point the followers of Islam will change them to conform to American judicial guidelines? Well, that is what I read into these words.

I find it interesting that someone who is supposed to be so intellectually erudite on the subject of religion could actually believe that followers of Islamic Shariah would modify their beliefs through social osmosis by living in the United States.
The basis of Shariah, as lay men like me understand, is the total submission of all people to its guidelines.
All non believers are to be either exterminated or enslaved, unless they convert. And even in the case of co-existence, the infidels still have to live by Islamic law and pay ransom.
For how long would Mr. Stern allow honor killing to go on before he believes that the followers of such practice would voluntarily depart from it? How many women would the good professor be willing to sacrifice in the name of tolerance?

Shariah law represents the antithesis of the values of our Nation. It is not merely a religious issue, but it widely spills into governmental realm.
Islam, and Shariah particularly, is a social, economic and military ideology masqueraded as religion. Its principles are diametrically opposite of the guidelines of the United States Constitution in both social and economic aspects.
Shariah is government. Its proponents and followers only want Shariah to be the law for every citizen. In times where Christianity is openly maligned and being pushed out of the American people lives, in times when crosses are being removed from the side of highways because they supposedly represent a state endorsement of religion and therefore found offensive, what this professor is invoking is a greater acceptance of a religious ideology that is based on social oppression. Sorry, but this lay man finds this lacking of any common sense.
I am sure that Prof. Stern has all good intentions behind his beliefs as expressed in this article. It would certainly be wonderful if Shariah law was just one of those religious models where the peace and prosperity of all people would be most important. It would be wonderful if Shariah law would promote the same tolerance for other religions that Stern is advocating to give it. It would be wonderful if Shariah did not promote a culture of death.But reality is much different. When apologists like Stern state that the radicalized element of Islam is only a small part of the totality of otherwise peaceful Muslims, they are just grasping for a naive solution of a definitely much greater problem.
Considering that the Muslim world population is of about 1.4 billion people, what is that percentage? 1%? 5%? 10%? Math is not an opinion, unless you are a liberal.

Disturbing to me, not a big fan of academia, is the fact that ideologies like the one proposed by Stern is being taught to the new generations. Here is an assistant professor who surely conveys his misguided and naive ideas to young, impressionable minds. Sure it all sounds so good and fits perfectly with the "make love, not war" still permeating colleges campuses, but when these ethereal concepts go awfully wrong, when the forces of evil gain footing and power, it is mostly the non-academia American that has to clean up the mess.
If Prof. Stern would be attacked for being a Jew by someone who believes that Shariah law gives him the right to kill any Jew, the good professor would not ask his students for help, but he would call one of those blue-collar, not-so-educated police officer or soldier to put his or her life on the line to save his elitist life.

This is typical of academia, though, and we, the population at large, must recognize it. Our duty as Americans is to inform ourselves about the realities that Stern is ignoring, because, if and when the time comes, sheep like Stern will be the first to be sacrificed by the enemy.

Obama's Jobs Speech: Change All? Or Not.

The famous "jobs speech" that Obama promised before going on his vacation may not be the hyped up "save-all, change-all" performance after all.
Sure he postured as if this speech would be one of revolutionary impact on the abysmal employment situations in America, but now it is being downplayed by the regime and the media. The expectations of the American people need to be reeled back, as the guy does not have a clue after all, nor do any of the obamadroids in his administration.

Aids to the president have already stated that as much as the speech will be important, it will be only a pat of the overall strategy Obama is advancing. The speech will not be demonstrative of the entire approach, so, the aids warn, do not expect a solve-all performance.

What I see is a politician with absolutely no idea of what he is doing or what he wants to do. This guy is only guided by those who pull his strings and guide him into his disastrous policies.
They told him to stop the EPA regulations, because he was loosing among the so-called undecided voters, not because these regulations would cause thousands more jobs to vanish.
He does not care: federal agents raid an American corporation with guns drawn because Gibson is alleged to have violated Indian laws, the country of India laws, regarding the importation of wood for the guitars. And if the company moves its manufacturing to Madagascar, the government is telling Gibson CEO, the factors of the investigation would just go away. But what about the 1,100 workers of Gibson? Who cares, give them unemployment for two years and tell them they need to vote for Obama for more.

Coincidentally, Obama will be leaving for California, Colorado and Washington right after the speech, on some more fundraising activities. When in doubt, Obama can always come here to California so that the Hollywood elite can idolize him and dish out $37,000 per couple to have dinner with the guy.
And what about the unemployed Californians? Eh, screw them! Let them eat tofu.

Yes, this speech will not be anything of substance as usual. It will have the same empty platitudes that the American people have been listening for two and a half years; there will be the usual "blame Bush" portion; there will be the usual "bad luck" complaints against the Japan earthquake and tsunami and the unrest in the Middle East; and we will surely hear, squeezed somewhere in there, that the reason he has not been able to fully dedicate himself to the creation of jobs was because he was too busy killing Osama bin Laden.
Plus Congress is obstructing him because he is black.

Oh well, just another speech from President Obama that will have the same effect of trying to make a whole in the water.
At least, we will have the NFL opener to take our dumb minds off the issue.

It is just fitting that the latest job report for the country comes in on the Friday prior to the Labor Day holiday.
ZERO job growth for the month of August.

But so what. Remember? According to the thankfully former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, unemployment is good, because it gives the unemployed people the ability to explore their dreams and interests. That may work for that member of the political elite who also happens to be one of the richest members of the political elite.

Well, there sure are millions of Americans who are currently able to explore their personal interests. So maybe what we will hear from Obama in his job speech is that taxes must be raised for those of us who produce so that the dreams and aspirations of the unemployed can be fulfilled more adequately.

Billions of dollars in stimulus, a deficit that is crippling the Nation's financial basis and governmental regulations that are further strangling the small business sector are creating conditions like this.

So happy Labor Day America, especially to those of you who were stupid enough to vote for Obama as president and for liberals in general from both parties. Enjoy your day off and make sure to bask in the destruction that liberal progressivism is causing our once great Nation.

Taxpayers Funding Of Illegal Aliens University Costs Is Almost Here

Just as I hinted in my past post on 25 August, the California version of the DREAM Act is getting closer to become reality.

The California State Assembly passed the law on party lines just yesterday and if the piece of legislation clears the State Senate, as it is predicted thanks to the overwhelming liberal presence in that body, it will go to Governor’s Brown’s desk for a quick and sure signature.

The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act (DREAM Act) Part 2 will allow illegal aliens to have access to taxpayers’ funds to attend institutions of higher learning in the state. According to the reports, they, meaning the illegal aliens, will be able to petition and receive financial aid after legal citizens applications have been addressed.

Proponents for this atrocious legislation, like Assemblyman Ron Calderon, a democrat, sustain that the legislation is about promoting success and achievement. Calderon also says that hard working young people should not be punished for decisions made by their parents.

Opposing voices maintain that even without considering the fact that the state finances are so dire that there is no money for such foolishness, it is appalling that the already scarce resources available would have to be even further thinned out because of such type of legislation.

It is a travesty that is going to have repercussions across the state, because the next step for people like Gil Cedillo and organizations like La Raza, will be to bring up the “fairness” of illegal aliens having to wait their turn after legal citizens. If the criminal status of illegals is ignored and public funds are to be given to them, then forcing them to wait their turn is obviously discriminatory. And some progressive judge will surely concur with that accusation.

So there you go. Illegal aliens will be given money that working Californians have earned legally. And what happens after? What happens when these hard working students graduate? Will they be allowed to compete for jobs with legal citizens even if their immigration status prohibits them from working in the United States? Oh, you can bet your ass! And they will be given the right to vote too, because, after all, that is the progressive agenda. And screw the law!

This legislation is financially unsustainable and legally wrong. It will cause another can of worms being open with additional chance of fraud and favoritism. But as long as the moronic people living in this state will continue to place criminals into office, things will only get worse.

At Least They Tried

We have all seen the video of the New Jersey National Guardsmen that got stranded in high flood waters while attempting hurricane Irene rescues.

A lot of hoopla has been made of this video, but what angered me the most is the mocking tone that criticism has taken.
Listening to the jackass taking the video reminds me of one of the reasons our great country is in the place it is right now.
Instead of recognizing that the Guardsmen were at least trying to do their jobs in obviously dangerous conditions, instead of aiding them and being concerned about their safety once things showed not to be going all that well, the moron resorted to name calling.

The vehicles the Military was using is a specialized one that is designed to handle those very same conditions. It has been used by our Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan where water was only one of the dangerous components of the mission.
That the effort was thwarted by the excessive depth of the flooding does not diminish the fact that these Guardsmen at least tried, while the dumbass with the video camera was safe and dry.

I don't know about that particular unit, but it is a very good possibility that some of those soldiers have completed one or more deployments to combat zones, doing work that regular civilians cannot even fathom. They did it, while the rest of us enjoyed the "tribulations" of our daily life.
In this particular case, all I can say is that at least they tried, a lot more that can be said for the idiot taking the video.

What is really going on here? Nothing really new, actually, the same old crap, just more out in the open.

The people who in the past have been working in the shadows for the destruction of our republic are today soiling the halls of Congress and openly conspire for civil unrest in order to advance their agenda.

Racial discord has been used by the progressive movement for decades, as demonstrated by the ascendance of characters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to a dubious prominence role within the American black community. But while they were able to murk the waters of their actions under the pretense of enhancing the social conditions of black America, in reality they, and the new slave owners of today, had only one goal: to create a new sector of the population easily manipulated into keeping them into power.

The next question is then, why now? After all, the election of a black president should have put all the alleged racist accusations to bed. Millions of whites voted for Barak Hussein Obama in 2008, many driven by the historical aspect of the candidacy and by an innate sense of guilt that has been fostered by the establishment and the media for decades.

For those of us who took the time to search information about Obama before the elections and who sounded the alarm of what his presidency would be, the label of “racist” was immediately applied. And even if this is one of those “I told you so” moments, I take very little solace and gratification from having been right. God knows how much I had wished to have been wrong.

Again, why now? Well, it is actually very obvious, if one takes just few minutes to get informed.

It all comes down to power and the elimination of dissent. Smoke screen is thrown out by characters like Maxine Waters who are shown on a video talking about her dissent with the supreme leader. Hey, folks, this is just a smoke screen, nothing more, besides, what she is complaining is that the President has not been liberal enough. And that’s coming from a pure socialist politician.

But the approval numbers of Obama are slipping, and after the results of the 2010 mid-terms, the progressive establishment sees the danger of the conquests made in the last few years being possibly reversed in 2012. And they are looking for a new way to shore up the bleeding.

Their approach is an old one: the racial card. But there is a problem today with that approach.

The American people are very much less receptive of the guilt trip involved in the race card. The labeling of racism has been so abused by the progressive movement that the average person is sort of sick of it, so the next step is fear. By identifying the TEA party movement as a racial enemy, progressives are laying new grounds based on scaring the American people into believing that the defeat of Obama in 2012 would be the spark of civil unrest in the country’s streets.

All this is a well designed plan, part of the re-election campaign of Barak Obama. This president has already shown on copious occasions that he considers the United States Constitution as an obstacle to his voyage of transforming the country. Be it halting the deportation of illegal aliens or scheming to destroy the 2^nd Amendment, Obama is not shy about placing himself above the law and the will of the American people. Racial warfare is the perfect approach, because any major civil unrest, as called out by the Black Congressional Caucus, would allow Obama to increase his own power in spite of the Constitution. If the American people actually yield to the fear of civil unrest, he also wins if such fear keeps people away from voting polls or push people to re-elect him in 2012.

I may sound alarmist, but the historical evidence is overwhelming when it comes to the ascension of tyrants to absolute power: increasing the power of the central government; dividing the citizens and pitting them against each other; elitist attitude in the face of the people; behaving in a “above-the-law” manner; surrounding himself with declared anti-American individuals.

Can anyone else see this?

President Lincoln believed that America was never going to be defeated by a foreign entity, but from the inside. President Obama and his cohorts are the living proof of that belief.

Regardless of the stupidity of Martin Bashir and the entire MSNBC conglomerate, and regardless of the amount of blame placed on George Bush, warranted or not, regarding the response of the federal government to hurricane Katrina, the picture below will remain the legacy of mayor Nagin and his inept, borderline criminal handling of the safety of the people of his city.

Hundreds of buses that were destroyed by the flooding caused by the hurricane, when they should have been used to evacuate thousands of people from the city. Several days of advanced notice about the impending disaster were not enough to convince this "expert" that he had to get the people out of the low areas of New Orleans.
And yet now Ray Nagin is an expert, at least in the eyes of the progressive boobs of MSNBC and the six people that actually watch that station.

In a way, we can ascertain that the best mode of conduct would be to do the diametric opposite that this idiot says and things would probably turn out much better for the people.

Gil Cedillo And His DREAM

The DREAM Act is dead on the national political stage, but there are those who will not be detracted in their efforts to stick it to the people anyway.
One such clown is California legislature assemblyman Gil Cedillo from Los Angeles.
This character is pushing a bill in the state assembly that would allow illegal aliens to have access to Cal Grants, or taxpayers' funds available to American citizens who qualify on the basis of their income.
In other words, the liberals who are running the state of California into an increasingly desperate economic abyss, now want to take even more tax money out of an already broke system and give it to people who are not supposed to be in this country in the first place.

So while the state is faced with a truly dire fiscal disaster, fostered by years of liberalism and anti-business regulatory bonanza, we are going to be giving money to people who are, for all intents and purposes, criminals.

Cedillo's says that the legislation is aimed at avoiding the creation of a sub-society composed of illiterate immigrants and that their ability to get an education will make them more apt to integrate in American society.
The problem, though, is in the fact that, as illegally residing in the country, these folks are not allowed to legally work in America. So how can paying for their education be productive?
How would they become integral part of our society if they cannot work in the country?
The answer is simple: regardless of what the laws of the land state, liberals are not incline to adhere to them, as demonstrated by the federal government, Obama's government, who just ordered the Department of Homeland Security to halt all deportation proceedings for those illegals that were not involved in a criminal act. (Amusing conundrum: the mere act of entering our nation illegally IS a criminal act, but I digress).

Where are we now? Cedillo had seen the same legislation vetoed by the other clown, Schwarzenegger, in the past, not because it is a travesty of our laws, but because Schwarzenegger realized that there was no money for it. Simply put, Schwarzenegger agreed with the bill in principles, but realized that it was a fiscal impossibility.
Not to be detracted, Cedillo is bringing the bill back into the legislation, confident that the new Governor, the emeritus scum Jerry Brown, is much more sympathetic to the cause of illegal aliens and will not hesitate to raise our taxes to pay for it.
Why doesn't Cedillo ask the Mexican government to pay for these illegal aliens tuition? Or the governments of Guatemala or Honduras? Why am I to pay for their education? What the hell is going on!?

Is this wonderful or what? Take a good look at California! This is where the rest of country is headed for with liberals in control.

Joining The Circus

A new ass clown joined the circus last November (yes, that election was not a universal victory for common sense after all): Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson.

She joined the rest of the clowns like Maxine Waters and Co.

I consider myself an unofficial TEA party member, mostly because I am reluctant to identify with any specific group as I am first and foremost an American.
But the labeling done by these clown tells me that the ideological choice I am following is the correct one. After all, if Waters and Pelosi and Reid and Durbin and Schumer and now Wilson consider me their enemy, my philosophical position must be correct.

Wilson just stated that the TEA party folks are the real enemies of the country, joining Waters in her latest attacks against the popular movement.
I may go straight to hell, but one thing for sure is that Maxine Water has already a special place there where she will have to answer for her sins against not just America, but the black people of her district.

I actually do not put much weight on Wilson statements. I recognize that someone who wears bright red and yellow cowboy hats is merely looking for attention, even negative one. And joining the throng of the lunatic left is just another attempt to make herself noticed.

Keep on, you Marxists, you are doing the work for your own defeat by just flapping your ignorant gums.

I wonder if the recipient of such attention was one of their children if their opinion on the subject would remain unaltered and their reaction would be of "understanding" of the oh so maligned "needs" of these unfortunate members of society.

On the other hand, it is all possible that the members of the higher education institutions who participated at the conference are the same scum that has perpetrated similar ignominious acts upon their own children.

Does anyone in Washington really care?

Below is a picture of a job fair in Atlanta, Georgia, where thousands of people lined up overnight for the opportunity to come face to face with representatives of companies who may be hiring.

According to the article from ABC News, this job fair was held at the campus of the Atlanta Technical College, just as the unemployment report for that state saw an increase of the rate of jobless from 9.9% to 10.1%.

Similarly, the latest news from the miserable state of California is that the unemployment rate has also gone up to 12%, second highest in the Nation only after Nevada at 12.9%.

Nationwide, unemployment among blacks has reached catastrophic proportions at over 16% and teenage unemployment rate in the Nation’s Capital is above 50%.

But my question remains the same: does anyone in Washington DC care?

As so many millions of Americans are struggling to hold on to their basic life style, their homes, their vehicles, where is Congress? Where is the President?

They are on vacation.

Some members of Congress went back to their districts and they are, again, being mercilessly trashed by their constituencies. And deservedly so.

The President, instead, is in Martha’s Vineyard, one of those elitist conclaves that so readily welcomes the “champions of the people” when they are in need of a vacation among peers to recuperate from their exhausting work of destroying America.

And it sure feels good to know that at the same time those seeking jobs in Atlanta were camping overnight for a chance at a job, Michelle Obama took her own plane to her vacation, obviously too anxious to get her extravaganza started instead of waiting for her husband who followed her just few hours later.

But what the hell! After all the government is paying for the extra aircraft, right? So who cares.

The average American is canceling any sort of non-essential spending as the future appears to be troubled by the stagnant economy, at the same time seeing their investment vanish in the stock market.

Most Americans, and by this definition I mean those of us who have a real job and have to be cognizant of a household budget, are refraining from any vacation plans, mindful of exorbitant fuel costs and unsure about the future.

Witnessing those who are supposed to, and get paid really well for, thumping their noses at the rest of the population and enjoying their lavish lifestyles, is a true proverbial slap in the face, further diminishing the already abysmal confidence we have in the elected officials. But as some national polls show that the popular rate of approval for Congress and the President are the only thing dropping faster than the Stock Market, these elitists do not appear to care much. Why? Simply put, they trust that the American people will just relegate themselves into a higher level of apathy.

Nothing perturbs these folks, so sure they are about their position of power.

Adding insult to injury, prior to leaving for his vacation, President Obama went on a bus tour across couple of states. Just another waste of taxpayers’ money: two buses purchased in Canada, and a motorcade of about 40 gas guzzling SUVs to carry his entourage. And what did the American people get in return?

Nothing more than a campaign stunt, full of the usual platitudes and a charade of insulting statements Obama used to blame his majestic failures on everything in the world rather than his own incompetence: the earthquake in Japan and the tsunami, the unrest in Egypt and the rest of the Middle East, and of course the always useful Bush.

Typical! Liberal progressivism has been using such tactics for over a century, pushing for excusing bad behavior by blaming someone or something else, something that occurs in our court rooms every day.

Worst of all, though, was the President’s announcement that he will propose a new economic strategy in September when he gets back from vacation and Congress decides to go back to Washington. Really? No rush, Mr. President!

If this is not the proverbial “Nero plays his lyre while Rome burns” I do not know what is.

And if one is incline to believe that the absence from Washington of politicians is a way for them to do less damage to the country, think again.

Just yesterday we were treated to the news that the Obama administration was halting all deportation court proceedings for illegal aliens who were not involved in violent crime. Just a clean way to circumvent the will of the people and the laws of our country in order to pander to the Hispanic population he desperately needs for his re-election bid. Amnesty by fiat.

In the meantime, we also hear of over 600 new regulations the government instituted in the month of July alone, further pounding death nails in the coffin of American businesses.

I wonder what the Obama new plan will be. Surely he must be working really hard at it in the $50,000/week mansion on Martha's Vineyard. Hope he does not tire himself too much or his golf game will suffer. I am sure the folks lined up in Atlanta would not want that to happen.

Of Taxes And Unemployment

I have a quick solution for our liberal friends around the country, those who voted for Obama and are registered democrat and plan to vote for the man again.

They are chanting that the "rich" are not taxed enough, that the President's intention to redistribute wealth is the way to go to achieve a more "fair" socio-economic balance.
There are no laws that prevents liberals to pay more taxes. If Warren Buffet wants to pay more taxes, nobody is preventing him to write a big fat check to the IRS.
If Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and all the other multi-millionaires want to write big fat checks to the IRS, I am all for it.
It is easy for these scumbags to give millions to the government when they still have millions left to indulge in their lavish life styles.
What I find repulsive is that these morons will, instead, give their money to the election campaign of people like Obama so that the rest of the American people are going to be forced to pay more taxes.
With the state of unemployment and welfare today, the "rich" are increasingly becoming any poor slob that is lucky enough to have a job.
I work for my money and I will be damn if I want to support those who do not.
If we get the government out of our lives, if we allow the free market to take its course and we spur private enterprise, we will, as a country, return to our past splendor.

Only hard work and ingenuity will save our Nation.

As far as unemployment, I think that on every job application there should be a question regarding who the applicant voted in the last presidential election. If the applicant says Obama, he/she should be automatically passed on for the job. This would leave people who really want to work with the ability to do so.

All kidding aside, the unemployment figures are tragic, especially among the black population and teenage kids. The reality is that it is not the government that will be able to solve the problem, but the private sector.
It will take for the government to remove oppressive regulations for small businesses so that they will be able and once again willing to expand their workforce.
For every person that leaves the unemployment line a new taxpayer will be created to the benefit of the duties the government is mandated by the Constitution to oblige to.

Once again, it will be American hard work and ingenuity that will save our Nation, not government.

It is fine to label Catholicism under the actions of some pervert priests, but do not dare even think about doing anything similar with Islam, lest you may face hate crime accusations at best or beheading at worst.

But than we have the cartoon character of Luis Farrakhan, who occasionally delights us with his peaceful words of wisdom, when he is not flying around in the prophet's spaceship.

Good News From California

Yes, all the other problems afflicting this state must have been resolved, because now the state legislature is taking the time to address such important issues.

That must mean that the 12%+ unemployment has been slashed.
That businesses are not leaving the state at a rate of 6 per week anymore.
That water is once again flowing through the thousands of acres of arid desert in the central part of the state.

Or maybe not!

Maybe it is that the socialist bastards that the moronic people of this state continue to re-elect over and over and who continue their march toward the destruction of what was once the 7th economy of the world.

And to make things even more pleasant, Moonbeam Brown, our esteemed governor, is again going after Proposition 13, a proposition that has kept property taxes low for decades.
Gerry Brown even campaigned on attacking Prop 13 and he still got elected last November, which means that the state is effectively run by welfare proponents.
If successful in his quest, it will be those who work and produce to be hit the worst with an increase in property taxes that may make it impossible to actually afford a home in this state, sort of a punishment for those who are still trying to make it on a honest day of work, in favor of the hoards of career welfare scum and throngs of illegal aliens.

Distraction Means Disaster

I am so sick already of the bullshit that is transpiring out of the GOP candidates for 2012 and the games they are playing.

The Iowa debate, which I admit I purposely ignored, saw the candidates going after each other, trying to tear each other up and missing the main point of this whole thing: there must be unity in order to make sure that Obama is fired in November 2012.

I know that the tactics being employed are the usual politiking that takes place when candidates are involved in a political race. I get it.
The problem is that the next presidential elections are not the usual political event. The stakes of the event are higher that they have ever been for our country. The peril America is facing is unprecedented in our history, much more grave a situation that we experienced since the Revolutionary War.
The current administration, from Obama on down to the least significant Obamadroid, are bent on changing the nation in ways that the American people do not want. Their statist approach and tyrannical views are contrary to anything our country has ever stood for.
From the economy to foreign policy, from the Constitution to National security, Obama has made an intentional mess of things.
And do not come and tell me that he killed Osama bin Laden!

All the infighting taking place among the GOP wanna-be candidates may make a great time for the shameless media searching for the ever growing rating score, but it does absolutely nothing for insuring that the hope and change the dude in the White House is dishing out is sent to the eternal heap of defeated totalitarian regimes.

The distraction is going to spell disaster. The candidates should merely engage in explaining their positions on the issues that the American people are most afraid of and that the voters will make the distinction. But through all of it, they should remain focused on defeating Obama.

Waking Up To Awful News

I hate to wake up in the morning and be greeted with some awful news. No it is not the downgrading of the credit rating for America by S&P.

There are today 31 families that will receive the dreaded visit from the Military Officer and the Chaplain to report that their loved one will not be coming home, at least not in the manner every family of deployed Military hopes.

It is a routine of mine to access the news every morning as I rejoin the living, but I may be looking at a routine change. It is becoming highly stressing to check out what is happening in the world as the morning comes.
Since that crisp September morning nearly 10 years ago, when I was greeted by the images of a burning tower that just got hit by an airplane, I hold my breath every time I turn the TV or the computer on in the morning.

Maybe it is time to change.

Rest in eternal Peace, fearless Warriors. May God welcome you among his elite and may He wrap His arms around your grieving families.

Good News Upon Good News

Yes, good news continues to grace the American people.

The Dow Jones crapped out over 500 points just today, wiping out retirement savings for millions of Americans. Just as the politicians in Washington had predicted, the reaching of the “compromise” on the debt, was going to boost the economy…or maybe not!

But we can rest assured that the retirement plans of those in Congress are not affected, as a matter of fact, considering the exhausting “work” they have done in the last couple of weeks, I think it is time to vote themselves a raise.

Obama was pissed off because his campaign funding goals had suffered due to the “unyielding” attention he had to dedicate to the debt debacle. But not to worry, because he has hit the campaign trail with vigor, running to hide among the multi-millionaire donors that paid up to $35,000 per couple to eat dinner with the guy. How appropriate that while the economy gets deeper in the shitter, Obama is sucking up to those scumbags who fly around in private jets.

And we are not done, as tomorrow the unemployment data will be released. Some “experts” say that if less than 150,000 will be added to the economy, there will be even more down sliding for the stock market.

As a response, Obama will engage in a Palin-style campaign bus tour, except that his will be paid by?

You guessed: me and you. I am so proud.

And just in case you thought that Obama was a total failure, you racist bastard, he has been highly successful in bringing the United States, almost single handed, to be just like Europe…more exactly like Greece, Spain and Italy!

So now Obama is really concentrating on jobs, no REALLY. I am sure that many of those pieces of shit who contributed so lavishly to his campaign today will surely be repaid by landing a job, a lucrative job, for the administration. So as you can see, he is a man of his word.

And just to make sure that the types of jobs Obama wants will be available, it is reported that his administration has added 608 more regulations just in the month of July. That’s the way to spur the economy…of China.

Luckily, it is also reported that the Communist Party of America has endorsed Obama for President. How appropriate!

On the other hand, according to his lovely wife Michelle, the fact that Obama’s hair is getting grayer truly means that he deserves a second term…hummm.

Good news: Sen. Harry Reid is finally able to concentrate on more important issues, like the pomegranate trees on his property in Nevada. A whole country wishes that he would just stay there with his damn trees instead of returning to Washington and further destroying the country.

Congress is in recess, a very well deserved summer vacation. I sure hope that they will opt for some sort of an overseas vacation, as I do not believe their presence in their districts will be as welcomed as they would like.

All the hoopla about the debt ceiling raising and the compromising that Republicans and Democrats are seeking for the "good of the country" would actually be amusing if it not for the fact that the lives of millions of American are being affected.

What is amazing to me is the open bullshit that politicians are feeding the American people. We are treated and told we are stupid and incapable to see through the smoke screen that great intellectuals like Boehner and Obama and Reid are putting up.

Well, this stupid American thinks otherwise.
In reality, it is very clear. The so-called urgency of the National debt has been predicted since last January, but promptly ignored until the last minute, in the attempt scare the American people into a mental condition that would force them to accept any possible compromise in order to avoid the country's financial demise.
News flash: the demise of the country has been already ushered in by several previous political so-called leaderships, from both parties.

The scare tactics are amazing. If this plan passes, seniors will be left to die and child mortality will skyrocket. If that plan passes it will be the ruination of the country. Wow, and so these morons in Washington waited until the last minute to address the problem?
In the least they should be fired for incompetence. Personally I think that they should be tried for treason against the Nation, but I digress.

The truth of the matter is that they, and I mean both parties morons, waited for the last minute to be able to present a compromise plan that truly will not be much more than placing a used band-aid on a sucking chest wound. They will show up all happy in a "bi-partisan" manner announcing that they reached an agreement, patting themselves on the back for achieving one more disgraceful victory over the people of our country and our freedoms.
There will be admittance of imperfection, but you know?, we fought so hard!
There will be chest thumping in regard to having done what was necessary to avoid financial Armageddon.
And the funniest part will be the fact that the media will hailed the "courageous leadership" of these morons all the while the people in Washington will dutifully bend over the American people and...you can figure out the rest.

It would not be so bad if the consequences of these bastards' actions would remain short term, but the fact that their irresponsible actions are condemning future generations to an unimaginable debt is appalling. I find it highly angering that the my grand baby who is not even born yet, is already in debt for thousands of dollars.

Ultimately, it will be the American people to decide their own future. As of right now, the future is bleak at best, as the very same American people keep on re-electing the same scum into office, handing over the keys of the country to the same people who have and still are "leading" us off the cliff.

Jackson accusations of racism are as laughable as those made by the other Jackson representative, the Lee character, because it is so very obvious that their beloved Obama has received all the breaks and facilitation possible, not just by the moronic American people who elected the fool, but continues to enjoy the undeserved perks from the complacent media and even from the fake Republicans in Congress.

While Jesse Jackson talks about government helping those in need in our country, he is also the one who wanted to give free I-pads or something similar, to school children.
Interestingly, that happened just before Obama started to twitter from the White House. Perfect! What is needed is the Supreme Leader having direct access to kids via electronic device, as if the progressive indoctrination children already receive in the despicable school systems is not enough.

And Jesse Jackson is also the cartoon character who equaled power to the states to slavery.

Every time I hear the group Center for American Progress express any sort of opinion on anything, I am alarmed, as I consider John Podesta, former Clinton's chief of staff and current leader of the ultra-progressive group, one of the most dangerous enemies of our Nation.

But it is not surprising that calls for the slicing of the Defense budget would be coming from the same vile crowd that is pushing America to become just like Europe.
The approach of progressives is to bring the defense and security ability of our Country down, like every nation across the Atlantic, to a level of inefficiency that we saw following the end of the Cold War.
That the Pentagon should be subjected to a deep analysis to insure a more efficient operating strategy is not my issue. There are many steps that could be taken to trim the waste that accompanies Military expenditures, but the indiscriminate cut in carriers, airplanes or personnel is just a new invitation to a disaster.

When the drastic cuts were made as the Berlin Wall came down, Presidents George H. W. Bush and Clinton went on a cutting frenzy that left our forces depleted and our intelligence crippled. The result of such actions was the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Today the situation is even more dire. The instability in the Middle East, the proximity of Iran to become a nuclear power, the expansionist move of China added to the terrorist component of Yemen and Somalia, sees a world that is much more dangerous than ever, as the old fashion rejection of the freedoms represented by America is augmented by the radical Islam component.
The Islamic jihadi component has always been there, but it has taken a whole new role these days with the ever expanding hold such ideology has over governments in Europe and in America.

I can understand that Liberals believe that Obama has won the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, even if the only goal of the current administration is the retreat from those engagements, and I can understand that the administration is going to get as much mileage out of killing Osama bin Laden as possible. I can also understand that few photo ops and a little lip service in support of our Armed Forces may sway some people, but the long term strategic consequences that $1 trillion indiscriminate cuts would have on the Nation's security is frightening.
And the concern does not even begin to address the problem that Mexico and some of the South America countries represent.

But what the hell. Let's cut the Defense spending so that we can pour more money into the failed policies of entitlement spending. Let's cut our ability to defend our Country diverting funds to help our enemies, outside and inside our borders, get stronger. So the domestic enemies can one day join hand with the foreign enemies for the fatal blow to America.

The truth of the matter is that those who Lee accuses of "disrespecting" the President are not even beginning to express the real feelings of their constituencies. The secret deals and the closed door meetings are ongoing not because the participants want to improve the economic conditions of our country, but because they are desperately trying to hold on to the power and relevance in Congress.

Bohener, Cantor, McConnell are a bunch of spineless politicians, the real picture of the establishment Republican Party, one that is just as addicted to spending and maintaining power via giving away entitlements that are absolutely unsustainable.
These incompetents have learned nothing from last November elections, but are conscientious of the fact that they are making themselves targets for the next elections, so they resort to secret pacts and deals, aimed at compromising with Obama and his throng of progressives and hoping that the lurid details will remain unnoticed by what they still see as an apathetic population.

As for Sheila Jackson Lee, while her racist diatribe may score some points with the same people who hold Jessi Jackson and Al Sharpton as their leaders, they fall on the deaf ears of those other Americans who are tired of the race card being abused.
I doubt that next elections will see Lee being thrown out of Congress, after all she has her constituency nicely paid for, but the possibility of rendering these morons irrelevant in the political discourse is there. From the election of real Conservatives in the US Senate to the firing of Obama from the White House, the signs may be there. As they are for the cleansing of the Republican Party of those Judas the light of Graham, McCain, Snow, Collins and the like.

The survival of our country as a free and self-determining republic is at stake!

This World Is A Little Cleaner

The world is a little cleaner these days, not much but a little bit.
Humberto Leal Garcia, convicted in 1994 of the brutal rape and murder of 16-year-old Adria Sauceda, received a lethal injection in Texas. It only took 17 years for this scumbag to receive what he deserved!

Why did this case make the national news? Mostly because Obama decided that it was politically favorable to side with a brutal murderer against the laws of the State of Texas and the decision of a criminal court.
At the base of all the hoopla about this piece of garbage being executed is the fact that when apprehended, the good Leal was not informed that as an illegal alien and Mexican national, he could avail himself of the legal help of the Mexican consulate. So what!

The Obama administration decided it was politically advantageous to ask the state of Texas to stay the execution while the Supreme Court looked at the issue, not because Obama gives a rat's ass about Leal's fate, but because Obama needs the vote of illegal aliens in November 2012.

Even the United Nations got in the discussion citing international law. Now that Leal has finally been executed, the UN is telling foreigners to stay away from Texas. A good suggestion, in my opinion, that illegal aliens should pay attention to.

But SCOTUS told Obama and the UN to pound sand in a narrow 5-4 decision.
And Texas told Obama and the UN to go pound sand as well.
Now Leal is dead and the world is a slightly better place.

Saddening part is that former president George W. Bush also supported, during his administration, the position of Obama and the UN.
Another bad point against W.

Getting Faster And More Furious?

No one day goes by that more shows up in some news about the scandal of Operation Fast and Furious and the involvement of the current Department of Justice and the Obama administration.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms' director Kenneth Melson decided to give a secret testimony to Congress in respect to the intricacies of the operation.
This is a relevant detail that many news outlets have purposely ignored in the ever ongoing effort to shield Obama from any possible negative imagery.
Melson testified with only his personal attorney present, while he had the choice of availing himself of the legal support of the Dept. of Justice army of lawyers. Or did he?
As Rep. Darrel Issa is attempting to dig deeper into the details of Project Gunrunner, Melson was singled out by the DoJ and the White House to take the fall for the whole thing. The announcement of Melson being outed from the BATF was made, followed by Melson stating that he was not going anywhere.

So why is Melson distancing himself from the administration? In my opinion solely for the purpose of saving his ass, as the ramifications of this whole situation could reach criminal levels at any time.
I am not exempting Melson from his responsibilities in the matter because he is distancing himself from Obama and Holder, as I want to see every person responsible for this travesty hanging, but it is obvious that he was a willing operator in the grand scheme of this corrupted administration to subvert the constitutional rights of the American people.

As I stated in previous posts on this subject, Operation Gunrunner/Fast and Furious was an opportunity seen by the anti-Second Amendment crowd that lives in the crevices of Washington D.C. to further their agenda.
In a testimony to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee headed by Issa on May 3, 2011, Attorney General Eric Holder stated that he had become aware of the project only few weeks earlier. That was an obvious lie, but Issa only addressed the false testimony of Holder by saying that he believed Holder had not been accurate in his deposition.
And some late reports indicate that some of the weapons involved in Operation Gunrunner were paid with stimulus money, basically funds that were allocated to supposedly "create jobs" and help revive the economy, our money, were instead used to expand this ill-conceived cluster fuck.

Here lies the problem we have in our current political discourse. Holder falsely testified under oath in front of a Congressional Committee. Eric Holder should, at a minimum, be relieved of his job, as clearly stated by Florida Congressman Col. Allen West, pending a full criminal investigation. But that does not appear to be in the future, at least as long as the tyrannical administration is in power.

So what We the People and those of us law abiding gun owners are left with is a determined political leadership dedicated to end our Second Amendment rights.
The latest is that the same actors, Obama and Holder, are intensely working on new "gun safety" measures. What a surprise!
Using the January tragedy in Tucson that cost the lives of six people and the wounding of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the White House and the DoJ are going to issue some new gun safety measures aimed at infringing upon our rights. Freakish gun control morons are, according to some reports, not going to be too happy with these measures, as nothing less than a complete abolition of the Second Amendment would do for those idiots. At the same time, these new measures will be just one more step toward the progressive march toward the very same goal.

This fits with the agenda of the Obama re-election campaign. Take away our rights in a measured way, not severe enough to cause the American people to revolt, hopefully enough to momentarily appease the fringe Left.
All the while, the American people, brainwashed by the media spin of issues like Operation Gunrunner, do not realize that every step, as small as it may appear, is taking the Nation toward the overturning of the Constitution.

And speaking of hypocrisy, I find personally disgusting that politicians are so involved in violating our Second Amendment rights while they to give themselves the right to carry concealed weapons.
California legislators, scared by the Giffords' attack, want to have access to CCW permits more readily, claiming that their jobs are as dangerous as those that, under California law, qualify for such a permit, mostly jewelers, bail bondsmen and some other "dangerous" occupations.
So basically, California politicians, many of them liberals, want special consideration for obtaining a permit that they vehemently want to deny the rest of the people. That's tyranny!

Be aware, America, of the ugly hiding behind the "good intentions" of politicians.

Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone is bringing up the proposal.
It is hard to believe that the motion would actually go anywhere, but I would dare to say that it would have many followers among the people of the counties Mr. Stone is calling for secession.
Unfortunately, the actual will of the people means practically nothing in this state.
California has been hijacked by liberal progressives for a long time now, literally run by activists and lobbyists, overrun by illegal aliens and allegedly led by a group of state politicians who, regardless of political and party affiliation, have nothing more that their personal gain and power as guiding interest.
What was once the 7th economic power in the world is today reduced to nothing more than an overcrowded welfare state.
From in-state tuition for illegal aliens to EPA regulations killing our economy, California has ceased to be a place where people went to for economic improvement.
The housing market and construction industry at a depression level, manufacturing and similar industries in pretty much the same conditions has swelled the ranks of those seeking help from the State. Hard working people who saw their livelihood disappear are now standing in line shoulder to shoulder with those who have been milking the system for years.

Large franchises, like Carl's Junior, planning to open up over 500 new franchises across the nation, but none in California, thanks to the state freaks who want to regulate anything under the sun, including what we eat.
Jobs for teenagers, which historically included fast food business and similar, are today being sought by older workers desperate for any kind of employment. The unemployment rate for teens in California is one of the highest in the nation at about 33%, increasing the chances that many teens would drop out of school and many ending up in the justice system.

Thousands of acres of central California, once producers of a large portion of agricultural products, remain arid thanks to the Fish and Wildlife placing a 2-inch fish on the endangered species list.

Business leave California at an average of 6 per week, entrepreneurs looking at other states that offer more friendly environment to them.

And while the state continues to slide into economic devastation, the Sacramento Clown governor just signed a budget that is a farce after legislators complained that they were not getting paid, thanks to a proposition passed by the people. So they passed a travesty of a budget, basically anything so that their salaries would be dispensed again.

Sup. Stone has a good idea, even if it being laughed at by the Clown Brown office. I wish the people would have a real voice in the matter.

The Second, Predictable Part Of Operation Fast And Furious

Just as it was expected, the second part of Operation Fast and Furious (aka Gunrunner) was put into action yesterday by the liberals in the House of Representatives.

The operation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, was initiated under the Bush administration with the intent of having some semi-automatic weapons being channeled into Mexico and tracked by US authorities in the hope of following them to the drug cartels leaders.

It was an ill-conceived operation to begin with, but it actually went into overdrive in 2009, with thousands more weapons being allowed to go south of the border. The operation was also opposed by law enforcement agents, both from ICE and the Border Patrol, but the complaints went unheeded by the leadership of the bureau.

It all came to a head when BP agent Brian Terry was gunned down in Arizona in December 2010. The weapon used in the killing of Brian was traced back to be one of the weapons involved in operation Fast and Furious.

As the news about this governmental screw up started to appear, despite the efforts of the main stream media who went immediately into a protect-Obama mode, my immediate thought went to the statements made by both Obama and Hillary Clinton last year where they blamed the drug violence in Mexico to the firearms from the United States. At that time I thought it was just one more example of liberal accusing the United States for the problems of others and an attempt to further undermine our Second Amendment rights, but little did anyone know that the two scumbags were blaming America for the influx of weapons into Mexico while a good portion was done under the auspices of their federal government.

But the discovery of the government’s sponsorship makes connecting the dots a lot easier.

Point A: Obama and Clinton lament the influx of firearms moving from the US into Mexico;

Point B: they blame the availability of such weapons in the United States;

Point C: availability is caused by lack of gun control;

And now point D: liberals in Congress want to institute even strictest gun control legislature.

With a little common sense and an understanding of the progressive limitless crusade against the Second Amendment, we can all see what the whole thing comes out to be.

Obama gets into office in January 2009 and finds this incredibly stupid, albeit limited operation going on at the BATF. Obama, as the good progressive he is, steps up the scope of the operation, not to aim at the Mexican drug cartels, but as a way to allow the increase of violence in Mexico and shift the blame back to America. The unfortunate, but opportune death of Brian Terry creates the connection between American firearms and Mexico drug cartel that the anti-gun forces in the United States were looking for.

So the solution to the problem in Mexico is to have more anti constitutional legislation in the United States. I failed to see the connection between the internal problems of Mexico and the rights of people like me here in the United States, rights that are guaranteed by nothing less than the United States Constitution.

These liberal progressives, regardless of their party affiliation, are always ready to trample the rights of us citizens, especially when it comes to the Second Amendment. The continuous effort to disarm the law abiding citizens of our country is not going to work, regardless of how much intrusion and control politicians are seeking in our lives. There is a limit to how much tyranny the average American is willing to tolerate, and all the subterfuge Obama and his minions are engaged in will only exasperate the people and bring the totalitarian attitude of politicians to the forefront of the people attention, with predictable consequences.

Obama and corrupted criminals like Eric Holder saw the potential for the utilization of an ill-conceived policy of the federal government and greatly expanded the scope of it, planning on utilizing this predictable “crisis” to their advantage. It is up to us, the American citizens, to insure that our constitutional rights are safeguarded, because we cannot trust or count on politicians any longer. Washington is a corrupting environment, potentially turning even the most ethical politician into a power hungry stooge. We the People have to stand up and tell them that we will not stand by and allow them to render our Constitution, our rights and our security meaningless. We the people have to tell these freaks that the days of apathy are over and that we are paying attention.

If the Republicans in the House know what is best for them, if they do not want a pink slip at the next ballot, they better make sure that the proposed legislation by the liberal members of the legislative body goes absolutely nowhere and that the will of the people is respected.

Dick Durbin Flips The Bird To The Constitution

It is a valiant effort on the part of Illinois Senator Dick Durbin to show the country that he still is the biggest "dick" in Washington.
While the Obama administration continues to defy the law of the land in, among the many issues, illegal immigration, the United States Senate held hearings on the DREAM Act, legislation designed to grant amnesty to illegal aliens who are students or have served in the Military.

During the Senate hearing, sen. Durbin introduced several of these illegal aliens and gave a recount of their story, making the following statement:

"When I look around this room, I see America's future. Our doctors, our teachers, our nurses, our engineers, our scientists, our soldiers, our Congressman, our Senators and maybe our President."

But there is a small problem that sen. Dick missed.
Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution says: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

So what is the message we get from Big Dick Durbin? His were carefully prepared remarks, so the possibility of a "mistake" in his words should be discounted as I want to think that a three minute research would have given the little puppet aid of the senator who wrote the remarks the knowledge of the constitutional limitations for eligibility to the office of the President.

On the other hand, it appears that Illinois politicians have the tendency to be little concerned about that ancient, overblown document, increasingly aiming at rendering it insignificant.
I guess if it worked for Obama, the possibility of an illegal alien to be President cannot be discounted. Not that I am saying Obama is an illegal alien, but defiance of Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution does not appear to be an issue.

The larger and more disturbing picture is the continuous attack and defiance of the Constitution on the part of the Democrat politicians in Washington, be it about Freedom of Speech or the Second Amendment or Obamacare. There appear to be a consistent and increasingly overt attempt on the part of the progressive left in the country to dismantle our guiding document in favor of an unlimited and unchecked power over the American people.
This is a trend that We the People have to reverse if we want to save our country and allow this political experiment called America to remain free.

Alliance: Progressive Politicians And Al Qaeda

About a month ago, Adam Gadahn, the American traitor spokepuke for al Qaeda, published a video in which he exhorted American Muslims to purchase firearms and to conduct attacks against the American people similar to the Ft. Hood attack.
In the video, Gadahn states that it is so easy in America to purchase firearms, including automatic assault rifles, that it would be very easy for his brothers members of the religion of peace, to arm themselves and perpetrate mass killings.

While the lunatic ranting of this piece of breathing human excrement is somewhat amusing, it has been taken seriously by the lunatic members of the Coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
This coalition of progressive morons, among whom is the emeritus political whore Los Angeles mayor Villaraigosa, have come up with an ad in which they ally themselves with the message that Gadahn sent.
The alliance is perfect, because these idiots of the coalition have fallen exactly in the trap that the traitor had set.
The obvious intention of the al Qaeda dog was to associate our Second Amendment rights with the potential of jihadist attacks. And the mayors fell right into the trap. Very willingly.

It is a fact that the majority of politician that embraces the progressive ideology of the liberal left, has a stated problem with our Constitution and in particular with the Second Amendment.
In history, every despotic regime became such only after disarming its people. Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Communist China, Soviet block.
A population that is unarmed is a population at the mercy of the government, because the government is the only entity with firepower.
The aim of our enemy, so beautifully explained by Gadahn, is to achieve specifically the steady and stealthy disarmament of the law abiding American citizen.

In reality, it is the American individual that keeps our institutions safe from the ravages of totalitarianism, not the Media and definitely not the politician. Power is an aphrodisiac for anyone who seeks it and since the dawn of time, those who achieved it have abused it to eliminate those in opposition.
The Coalition of Mayors, just like Congress and the White House and the court system, is doing exactly so by seeking to curtail the constitutional rights of the American people.
The forces against the Second Amendment are all aligned together and working in unison: activist groups, liberal progressives, judges and a radical administration willing to surrender the rights of the people to corrupted institutions like the United Nations.
When Obama declares that he is working under the radar to push the elimination of the right of people to own and bear arms should raise the alert among those of us who still believe in the United States Constitution.

Speaking Of Flakes

OK, what the hell was Chris Wallace thinking? Or was he just doing the bidding of the establishment?
During an interview on Fox News Sunday, the anchorman asked newly declared Presidential contender Michelle Bachmann if she was a flake. He qualified his question by suggesting that there were some people who consider the Minnesota Congresswoman as such.

Besides the lack of professionalism on the part of Wallace, I find it interesting that he never even remotely question if Barak Obama was a flake. And that is one hell of a flake in my opinion.
So what was that all about, Chris Wallace? I was under the impression that the man had some journalistic integrity even as I would at times disagree with his approach and style, but the interview with Bachmann almost took a form of an ambush.

I am not necessarily a fervent supporter of Michelle Bachmann. I agree with some of her positions and are a little colder on some other, but she is definitely a conservative and she has a lot of popular support.
This is not a rally post for her, but it is a rant on the attack that Wallace and the MSM is already conducting against this woman. Are they going to ask Debbie Wassermann-Schultz if she is a flake? After all she has made some off the wall remarks about Republicans and Jim Crow.
Or is the trashing only relegated to Conservative women.

The fact is that women like Bachmann and Sarah Palin create fear in the hearts of the liberals. Men attack them as bimbos, women as bitches, but mostly my thought is that they are afraid that they may miss the opportunity of having the first woman president being from the left.
They already claim the first black President, Bill Clinton, and the second, Obama, but it would be inconceivable that the the first woman would be from the Party that they claim wants women to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.

To Chris Wallace defense, he did come out almost immediately and apologize for his outrageous questioning, but the damage was already done. If it would have been Sean Hannity for example, to ask a similar question to a liberal candidate, the Left would have demanded the head of Hannity on a silver platter, but because the attack was perpetrated against a Conservative woman, it will be forgotten by tomorrow.

I do not know who will be the Republican opponent to Obama in November 2012. Whoever it is he or she will get my vote (I'd vote for Humpty Dumpty against Obama). As for the primaries, my candidate of choice has not yet entered the race.
This will be an interesting 17 months.

Does this mean that the Dems are breaking down? No, definitely not, because in the long run they will rally behind Obama regardless of what he does. No liberal will antagonize this radical president and risk being left out of the spoils of revolution.
All that Nadler is doing is trying to appease those Americans who are not too happy about the nebulous involvement of our forces in Libya. I wonder if the poll numbers in his district are not as favorable as he would like and he is just preparing for November 2012.

The interesting part of the article is the statement of another N.Y. member of Congress, Luise Slaughter:
Considering the venom this woman has been spewing for years, the apology she should offer the American people and future generations is for the destruction of our Nation she has fostered for years.
How amusing that she would complain of the "rush" for the Libya resolution, when the Dems behaved thousands of times worst as they rushed the Obamacare legislation through in the middle of the night, without even knowing what was in it, even though it affected the lives of every American.
On the other hand, why would I be surprised by the hypocrisy of these bastards!

POTUS Has Too Much To Do

Talks on the raising of the debt ceiling appear to be at an impasse, with Republicans walking out of meetings and the President basically refusing to address the enormous debt increase our Nation has incurred since his coronation in January 2009.

So where is Obama? According to congressman James Clyburn, the President has way too much to do to be directly involved in such trivialities like the Nation’s crippling debt.

The progressive Clyburn made that statement during an interview with Neil Cavuto of Fox News, while expectedly trashing the Republicans for walking out of the talks.

"We can't have the President sitting in these meetings, three and four hours every day, when all of these other things are happening around the world. The president has much more to do with his time, and that's why you have a Vice President." stated Clyburn.

Sure, I understand that the President’s time is stretched to its limits at times, but on matters of National importance, like our disastrous economic state, his attention should be unquestionable.

I can understand him not having the time to get the name of a Medal of Honor recipient right, but we have been brainwashed by the Obamadroids that the man is just too brilliant for us to fully understand or even comprehend the depth of his genius.

Considering that Obama has been king for over 130 weeks now, I find it remarkable that the man has been able to squeeze in over 70 golf outings. Over 50% of his weekends have been occupied by golf games, which last three or four hours, Rep. Clyburn. There are also the several vacations and trips taken in the same period, not to mention the 30+ campaign fundraisers he has been attending.

On a related subject, Michelle Obama gave an interview to ABC News in which she is asking for at least four more years for her husband because, she says:

"I think there's so much more work to do. We've really just begun to lay the foundation,"

And in a disturbing sinister way, I can actually understand what she is referring to. After all, there are still some small businesses left operating in America that must be destroyed; there are still some aspects of our private lives that Michelle has not stuck her nose in; the Constitution has not been abolished yet; we still have a Military and UN Blue Helmets from Nigeria are not yet patrolling our streets; Christianity has not been squashed in favor of Marxist secularism; the dream of a global government with Obama supreme despot and Michelle the global queen is not there yet.

So yes I can see why Michelle wants four more years for her husband. Plus there are still many countries in the world where she wants to go on vacation to on taxpayers’ money.

The Problem is That He Just Doesn’t Care

Regardless of all the photo ops and rhetoric in support of the Military, the main problem with Obama is that, not so deep inside, he really does not care enough about the men and women of the Armed Forces to actually make double sure that the garbage coming out of his mouth is accurate.

During a visit at the headquarters of the 10^th Mountain Division of the United States Army, the Commander-in-Chief thanked the soldiers present for their service and proceeded to make the following statement:

"First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn't receiving it posthumously."

No problem, you would say, and you would be right if it was accurate, because Jared Monti did receive the Medal of Honor, but he received it posthumously, after being killed in combat in Iraq in 2006.

What the White House stooge did was to confuse Salvatore Giunta’s MOH award with Monti’s. Jared’s parents were present at the award of Sal Giunta’s decoration.

Of course the apologists are defending the Moron-in-Chief, who after all is so busy campaigning and playing golf that he could not possibly waste any of his precious time getting his information correctly. Moreover, it was not really that big of a deal, because, after all, Jared Monti was actually awarded the Medal. Some will probably defer the culpability of his gaffe to some of his low level aids who obviously did not give the man the correct information.

But while the liberal cronies will try to downplay the horrible mistake, the reality is sufficiently obvious, even as the event is swept under the proverbial rug.

As I mentioned above, the problem lies in the fact that Obama does not care about anything connected to the Military except when he panders to them for campaigning purposes.

The shortcoming is not in the informational failure of what was given to Obama, but in the very fact that he is not interested, and therefore knowledgeable of the actual facts he was speaking of.

The Medal of Honor is the highest decoration a US Armed Forces member can be awarded for heroism in combat above and beyond the call of duty. It is a coveted decoration that goes back to the Civil War and it is awarded to individuals whose recognized actions are so above the norm that are almost always awarded posthumously. The only surviving recipient for the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan is, to date, Sal Giunta, although surviving Sgt. 1^st Class Leroy Arthur Petry’s nomination has been approved.

But for those of us who truly understand the significance of such honorable recognition our country bestows to these special individuals, the names remain imprinted in our memory: Paul Smith, Jason Dunham, Robert Miller, Ross McGinniss, Michael Murphy, Jared Monti, Michael Monsoor, Sal Giunta and Leroy Petry. These are name America should never forget, but it is unforgivable for a President.

It would take a willing appreciation of the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces for the President to be able to recite those names from memory without hesitation, and in any case it would take an elevated level of respect for the actions of these individuals, and the American traditions they embody, for Obama to at least make triple sure that he got at least the names right.

Lip service has gotten this man into the White House, probably the least capable, and definitely the most radical, President this Nation has seen throughout its history. Lip service is what he and his wife use to blow enough smoke in the eyes of the liberal hordes to convince them that he is such a supporter of the troops, when, realistically, he only sees the men and women in uniform as nothing more than another voting block. So while some strugglers are still allowing this fake to sway them, his true constituency, the nutroots of the extreme left are even less interested in the vicissitudes of our Military and their families than he is.

But, again, the problem is that he just does not care.

Surrender Is The Option In Afghanistan

The pundits are pouring over the Afghanistan surrender speech from Obama. On Wednesday evening, Obama announced that in July 2011 a withdrawal of 11,000 troops from Afghanistan will take place, in his words remaining faithful to the timeline he had established when he authorized the half hearted surge in 2009. An alleged feather in the cap for the re-election bid of 2012.

So, what do we have here? In one word: surrender.
By any account, as I wrote about it in the past, the idea of telling the enemy the strategic approach ahead of time is just a mere political move, with Military consideration not being weighed. It make absolutely no strategic sense.
The enemy is only required to sit back and wait for the civilian leadership in Washington to get deeper into their campaigning in order to receive back on a silver plate all that the Military took away via great expenditure of blood and treasure.
And while all this happens and Obama splits his precious time between golf, vacations and fund raising, the troops on the battlefield see their ability to hold and defend reduced.
Is such an approach Militarily sound? Only to a political beast like Obama.
And while some of the Military families are amazingly hailing this president as a friend of the Military thanks to few crumbs he has thrown at them and few campaigning appearances from Michelle, clearly ignoring the true opinion from the CinC, it is tactically well known that reducing troop level and announcing a timeline, will place those remaining in greater jeopardy.

Military commanders on the ground are not too happy with the decision and the modality of application, but ultimately they answer to the Commander-in-Chief and cannot express openly their opinions.
Afghan president Amid Karzai stated that the new generation of Afghans are ready to take the reins of the country and lead it to the future. Great words from this corrupted, treasonous individual, who we helped maintain power and who is not even waiting for our troops to leave before getting in bed with Iran.

During Obama's speech, where no American flag could be seen, no mention of "success" or "victory" anywhere. Mainly because the only victory Obama is seeking is over the America he so vehemently wants to "transform", and the only success he is going after is his political one in his bid to destroy our system.

And than there are the polls. It has been said that 56% of the American people are tired of the war. Was the poll made among Military families? Who was polled for this?
In reality, looking at the disconnect that the average American has with the Military, I find it interesting that so many people would be against a Military engagement that has not touched them personally. It is very easy to just say "this war has gone on for too long" when the person never had to endure having a loved one in combat, when they never had to see a loved one leave or ever been at a Military funeral. Are the polled individuals the same ones who could not name the Vice President or what the Declaration of Independence was written?
And what about the thousands of Gold Star families? Is surrender in Afghanistan rendering their losses insignificant? In Vietnam, American Military won every battle on the field, only to be betrayed by the civilian leadership in Washington. Over 57,000 names on the Wall, not to mention the treatment Veterans of that conflict received, should be a historical reminder of what political handling of a conflict results in.

If the situation in Afghanistan is so good, if Obama's strategy has been so successful, then why not take ALL our troops out of there and bring them home? Why reduce forces and increase the danger to the remaining ones by thinning their ranks?
Obama boasts that he ended the war in Iraq, than why are flag-draped coffins of KIAs from Iraq keep on coming home?

I am now sure that the strategy of surrender will have a decisive effect on the US-Taliban negotiations supposedly ongoing. Dealing with the enemy from a position of weakness. Well done Mr. President.

Karzai Calls American Troops Occupiers

Once again Afghan president Karzai succeeds in pissing off the American people, at least those who pay some attention to that far away conflict and actually give a damn about our Military.

United States Ambassador Karl Eikenberry in a speech on Sunday, indirectly warned the leadership in Kabul that the American people are getting sick and tired of being called occupiers in the country where so many sons and daughters of America spilled their blood.
Even if Eikenberry did not mention Karzai by name, his remarks were obviously in response to the content of a meeting that Karzai had also on Sunday, with the Iranian minister of Defense, the very first such high level visit from a representative of the Iranian regime to Kabul.
During such visit, the two officials addressed the increasing problems that the presence of foreign troops in Afghanistan represents.

The statements from Karzai and Ahmad Vahidi follow some meetings that the former had with Ahmadinejad just last week in Kazakhstan.

In the first place, the blood of over 1,500 American KIAs was spilled in the attempt to eliminate Afghanistan's safe heaven for those who attacked us on September 11, 2001, and give the people of Afghanistan a chance at a better life, but it is obvious that allowing Karzai to be the political leader of that nation has been a grave mistake for our troops and for the Afghan people.
Karzai and his government are probably some of the most corrupted leaders that have graced this planet, and it has been thanks to the sacrifice of the so-called occupiers that he is still alive and able to spew his crap without someone sticking an IED up his ass.

What about the sudden closeness between Karzai and Teheran? In few words, it is something that we Americans asked for when we introduced the outrageous concept of timeline into a armed conflict. Just the knowledge of such action being initiated this summer is enough for Karzai to seek the sympathy of his thuggish neighbor.
It is also well known and documented that the Iranian regime has been tactically and logistically aiding the Taliban in their fight against the US Military and the Afghan government forces. So basically is now sucking up to the same people who have been actually slaughtering his own people. Which makes me wonder about the possibility that Karzai has been in bed with Teheran for some time now, just playing his double face with Washington.

So what are we left with? Realistically, two venues. We can either take all our troops out, practically leaving scorched Earth behind, meaning completely destroy every installation and piece of equipment we cannot carry out, or we could send Karzai to pound sand somewhere else and establish a similar situation like we did in Japan after 1945. In that case, Gen. Douglas MacArthur was the de facto governor of that nation and in charge of its reconstruction.

The callousness Karzai is displaying toward the suffering of his people and the bleakness of their future is for me enough justification for sending the piece of camel shit packing. Wonder how long he would survive without American forces guarding his ass.

Finally, I am completely incensed by the actions of the Afghan president as I think about all the families still mourning the death of their loved ones who died so that the Afghan people would be rid of the scourge of Taliban and al Qaeda terrorists inside their borders.
It is a true dishonor to our fallen for this man to be consorting with the same government that has been working hard to insure that the Afghan people will enjoy a similar level of pseudo freedom as the Iranian people now enjoy.

I still believe in our mission in that forsaken country. I believe in the necessity to prevent the Taliban to go back to its harboring of terrorists inside the Afghan borders. I also believe that many Afghan people are not happy at the prospective return of the Taliban ways of handling social issues.
So now, as the deadline for the withdrawal of the US troops from that country approaches, one can argue with the significance of what was achieved in that nation, what dividend we received from such high level of sacrifice.
In Germany, Japan and South Korea we can see three nations living in freedom and prosperity.
In Vietnam, it was a political failure to thwart the sacrifice made in blood.
For Afghanistan and Iraq, the pages of history are still being written.

There Is Definitely Something Mentally Wrong With Howard Dean

It has been common knowledge that Howard Dean is a very eccentric and puzzling characters, but the following video removes all my doubts on the man's mental capacities.

This video was from Dean's appearance at the NUTroots Nation Convention, with emphasis on the NUT term.

The main problem is the hatred expressed by white America at TEA party demonstrations? And especially Christian white men over 55?
So what about the people of other faiths who identify with America's return to the Constitutions? And what about the non-white people who identify with conservatism?

I understand that politicians have a personal mandate to pander to the audience they are talking to, but the assertion that different opinions, that dissenting with the current regime are signs of "hatred" on the part of the dissenters are preposterous.

But we cannot expect anything else from the left and the characters like Dean.
People like him have been engaging in class warfare and racial animosity for years, the real architects of the hatred and division we today see among the American people.
Their goal is the typical approach of divide-and-conquer, utilizing arguments that are designed to inflame collective fears and suspicions.
But that is the Socialist agenda, with the destruction of the individual in favor of some form of collective alignment, where the spirit of each citizen is destroyed in favor of a populist approach. This is a philosophy that has been tried and has miserably failed in countless other countries, but one that is very attractive for statist types, as they self-position to gain personal power and wealth at the expenses of the same people they so gallantly claim to want to help.

By the statements of characters like Howard Dean I gather an increasing sense of desperation on the part of the despotic wing of the democrat party.
As the historical chief beneficiaries of popular demonstration in rejection of government policies, they are certainly stunned and taken by surprise by the table being turned on them as in the case of the TEA party demonstrations. They are not equipped to handle the silent majority refusing to remain silent as we see our country crash and burn. So they resort to pitting their throngs against the dissenters.
Still vivid are the images of the left's demonstrations against Bush, labeling him Hitler and all those other nice adjectives, still resounding are the words of Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton calling dissent patriotic, but when dissent came upon theirs and Obama's policies it magically became un-American.

There is definitely something mentally wrong with Howard Dean, but the worst part is that the man is really speaking of the policies of a regime purposely marching the Nation toward a financial abyss, compromising not only our domestic security, but also our safety from foreign enemies. When total collapse occurs, if these characters succeed in their schemes, the government will step in as the savior of the people and America, as the last bastion of freedom, will be nothing more than a memory.

On a side, more light, note, someone should tell Dean that a little shoe polish in his hair does not separate him from the over-55 he attacks in his speech.

English Should Be America's Official Language

Maybe I am the only one to see the irony in what this video shows. Here is a guy, Antolin Aguirre, who addresses state senators from Texas by speaking Spanish, on the issue of illegal immigration.
The question posed by the senator was more than legitimate, because someone who had come to the United States in 1988 should have gained enough proficiency in the language to be able to express their grievances or opinion in English.
That is even more significant when claiming to represent a specific civic issue in an official setting like a senatorial hearing.

Personally, regardless of the content of his deposition and its merits, the fact that Antolin spoke via an interpreter is an insult to the process and the country itself, a form of arrogance that is designed to push the multicultural envelop to the point of saying "you will listen to my complaints in my language as I am a guest in your home."

When confronted, the excuse came forward. Feeling "more comfortable" using his native language, while at the same time showing he could understand and speak English well.
Had Antolin made his speech in English, even with an heavy accent and even making some pronunciation mistakes, would have carried his message much further and would have had a potentially more positive impact than his arrogant stunt (BTW did anyone check Mr. Aguirre's papers?).

And I speak of personal experience on this one, as there was a time when English was not my native language and I too struggled with communication. The difference is that I saw my ability to learn and speak the language as my responsibility in order to integrate into American social structure. I did not expect any special treatment nor I received one, outside of the understanding of the American people I interacted with.
My efforts to speak the language, as bad as it might have been, was almost universally met with a benevolent response from those who i was speaking with, even if with some occasional chuckles. The main point, as it was expressed to me, was that I was trying, and trying hard, to adapt to the country that so gracefully allowed me to be part of it.

Multiculturalism has obviously failed as demonstrated by the distancing that liberal Europe is now attempting to reel back from, as it dilutes a nation's identity and instills in citizens and all others a destructive sense of entitlement.
It is irrelevant that someone speaks his or her native language in their home, or with family and neighbors, but when it comes to official business, English should be the language used.
I was recently summoned for jury duty. As instructed, I called the night before my date to check if I had to report to my local Superior Court. The automated message gave me the choice to hear the message in Spanish and I found it ironic. To be summoned for jury duty one must be a US citizen, which also means that one has to have a proven ability to speak and understand English. So why give the option in Spanish? And why not in Cantonese or Vietnamese or Italian or German or Russian? And does this mean that if a Spanish-only speaking juror is selected the court would have to provide an interpreter?
I know, it is a demographic issue, but the ideals of our Nation are equality for all citizens, which, in this instance, would be achieved by the use of English as a national language.

Finally, on Thursday, Congressman Anthony Weiner became former congressman Weiner, after a pitiful press conference where he was cheered and jeered.
So the man is unemployed now, but before you get all teary eyed about it, you must know that he has already gotten a job offer from Hustler Magazine's Larry Flynt, probably the only enterprise where Weiner's behavior is an actual resume enhancer (besides the Clinton Library).

In the past days since the scandal exploded, the anchor people at MSNBC even came down hard on the New York congressman, appearing to be taking the high road of morality. Truthfully, they were only protecting themselves in the very good possibility that the disgrace liberal, former vicious attack dog of the Democrat Party, would get a job at the cable network.
Personally it makes no difference to me, as long as he is gone from Congress. That he works for Flynt or that he spews his venom to the 14 people who watch MSNBC is irrelevant.

I wish the man well, especially if his wife is really pregnant, for her sake and that of the baby. As long as I don't have to listen to this politically nasty individual again.

After years spent as a number 2 right behind the tall Saudi terrorist bin Laden, Ayman has finally become the CEO of the organization.
The promotion is sort of a left handed compliment for the 60-year old Egyptian doctor who has made his way in the terror organization thanks to his ability to maximize the efficiency of of the suicide bomber (I wonder what part of his Hippocratic Oath covered that specific branch of medicine) because the "promotion" is basically setting up a new, fresh target for the next Special Forces incursion.

Obama's "Under The Radar" Policy Against The Second Amendment

Most of the news media outlets are completely ignoring this story, mostly because it is as explosive as a political scandal could be, deeply damaging for the current regime in Washington.

Operations Gunrunner and Fast and Furious are, though, getting quite the attention of Rep. Darrel Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, who appears to be set on getting to the bottom, or better yet the top, of the food chain that authorized or was in the knowing about this travesty.

These operations were directed at allowing gun dealers in the border states to sell weapons to dubious buyers. Many dealers would report their suspicions to the DoJ and ATF and were told to go ahead and complete the transactions, allowing thousands of weapons to make their way into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels. The scope of the operation, officially, was to track the weapons and get to the big fishes of the drug operations.
Some of these weapons were connected also to the killing of two US federal agents, Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata.

Rep. Issa has been trying to get the head of ATF, Kenneth Melson, and AG Eric Holder to come clean about the operation, in the attempt to find out how high the knowledge of the operations went, but both stooges are clearly non-responsive to the requests possibly forcing the House Committee to issue contempt charges.

The reality is that the two cronies are obviously protecting their boss from such an explosive scandal. The real reason for the operations is to have the issue of weapons in the United States, the very Second Amendment of our Constitution, become an international issue paving the road for what the United Nations is trying to achieve with the Small Arms Treaty.
When Obama told Sarah Brady that he was working under the radar to kill the rights of the American people as afforded by the Constitution, he was not joking. This is one of the "under the radar" efforts to generate support from the domestic liberal terrorists and the international community to force the UN treaty upon the American citizens.

I hope that Issa will continue to press with his requests. The obvious goal for the Obama regime is to keep this farce incognito until the elections in 2012, while instead it should be a campaign slogan for any of the republican contenders. The national media is greatly aiding in this effort and will do all necessary to avoid the issue for as long as possible.

What the wife is holding in her hands is a letter from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) in which the federal agency told the Stewart family that their home was deemed "not unsafe for living" and that therefore they would not qualify for federal relief.

Recession Only Hits The American People, Not Washington

The fantasy land Obama lives in as he tries to tell the American people that the economic recovery is in full swing, may be justified by the actuality of Washington D.C.
For example, while fuel cost continues to have sharp impact on the ability of people to go to work and school, let alone taking vacations, exotic traveling of congressional members was up significantly in the first five months of 2011.
Some of the travel was paid by private enterprises, surely eager to wine and dine members of Congress with the possibility of favorable actions toward their agendas. But some of that travel is paid by the taxpayers.
So members of both Parties get to stroll around Europe with their spouses, or get to "visit" oil rigs and meet with oil companies executives around the Gulf of Mexico.

Another example is the way Obama uses Air Force One as a personal campaigning tool, firing it up at any occasion to fly to this or that fundraiser. So not only we the people foot the bill for the giant aircraft every time some fancy celebrity dinner is collecting money for the President and we also have to endure the disruption that the move causes to every area where the President goes, we also have to be lectured by the White House about energy consumption as we are left to wonder what the carbon footprint is for a Boeing 747 flying all around the country, and the world, at the whims of the One.

But it is all good. Michelle Obama goes to California, makes a little insignificant speech about Military families, which makes the trip official business, than goes on four fundraising events, most of the travel cost being picked up by the taxpayers. And some of the liberal drones are all warm and fuzzy about the "interest" shown by the Obama administration toward the Military.

At least we can be comforted by a DNC fundraiser that did not required any travel expense for the people because it was held at...the White House. Does anybody understand that the White House belongs to the people? Obama is a rent-free tenant there, not the owner!

What makes me feel good are the steps taken by the Obama regime to cut wasteful spending by forming one more committee to analyze the "problem" on the wake of the discovery of "treadmills for shrimps" and other such waste of money.
So the person in charge of that commission is Joe Biden. A man who invites the press corps to a water fight. He had a press conference today about the first step in his new role: cutting in half the number of web sites available to the people to get information about government programs. He claims that the move is to eliminate duplication of efforts and to streamline the process of search for the people. Or it could be a way to reduce access to government business for the people. You decide. And as far as "savings" accomplished by such bold action, nobody knows, but I am sure it will amount to "trillions", right Joe?

What I am happy to hear, though, is that Rep. Anthony Weiner will still collect his $174,000 salary even as he is in "rehab" looking for new ways to share his wiener with the rest of the female population. Isn't America great?

Even the dumb bimbo Debbie Waisserman-Schultz thinks that America has turned the corner in the economic recovery, so it must be true. In effect, if one goes by the employment situation for government workers, there has never been a recession as that sector has grown leaps an bounds. If a stupid idiot like Waisserman-Schultz gets to keep her job, how bad can the economy be?
And Michelle, rumors have it, is planning a nice vacation to Africa this summer. And she throws few scraps of pseudo-interest toward Military families, and some people just melt in her grubby hands. Life is good!

For the rest of us, let us eat cake.

Obama's Economic Pie In The Sky

President Obama still giving smokey speeches about the recovery of the US economy. And he is now the only person who still believes that the"recovery" is on the way, even if not as quickly as he would like. If he really believes such crap he is more of an idiot that I thought before. Or he may be just plain campaigning, appealing to the morons among Americans who would still vote for him in 2012.

In the meantime, international credit analysts are downgrading US credit rating and threatening even further action if Congress does not lift the debt ceiling or cut spending. Congress remains inactive and the status quo is certainly going to increase the impression that the politicians in Washington are not seriously intending to fix the problem.

The Chinese are already stating that the US has been defaulting on their debt by not raising the debt ceiling, allowing the Dollar to lose value, but raising the debt ceiling would also devalue the currency, not to mention that it would give a green light to the leeches in Washington to borrow even more money, further deepening our crisis.

While this is happening and liberals are still blaming Bush for it, Obama wants to borrow even more money to give Greece in an attempt to perpetuate that country's entitlement programs.
We are spending billions in an effort in Libya without any clear policy, and starting further involvement in Yemen.
The "real" unemployment rate in the US is appalling and to address such tragedy, Obama's regime is increasing governmental intrusion by chocking the private enterprise.
From the oil industry to the automobile industry, from manufacturing to agriculture, government regulations are killing the private sector (in California, where liberalism is a religion, six small businesses leave the state every week due to the stifling oppression from the state government, just a smaller example of what Obama wants nationwide).
And interestingly, Obama is fostering for our Nation the same policies he wants to borrow money to fix in Greece. This is enough to make any thinking man scream!

The only solution we have is to cut spending drastically, starting from the US government.
Immediately, the Dept. of Education and the EPA should be shut down.
Immediately, the US should stop contributions to the United Nations and close the place down in New York.
Immediately, we should stop funding universities and government grants for studies of gay men activities in Argentina or studying behavior of prostitutes in China. Or building treadmills for shrimps!
But most of all, eco-terrorism and statist terrorism should be stopped immediately.
The water should be flowing in the Sacramento valley allowing agriculture in that area to return, in spite of the Delta Smelt.
Oil drilling should be immediately allowed in Texas, Alaska and the Gulf, in spite of some lizard, which will survive nonetheless, or disturbance to the caribous.
Chocking regulations should be greatly eased upon manufacturing businesses across the Nation, reviving one of the most important abilities of the American people to build things of quality for the rest of the world.

In other words, we MUST get Obama and his cronies out of Washington, followed closely by all those in Congress who are most interested in warming their seats than actually doing something meaningful for the health of our country. And this is a bi-partisan statement, because I want to see losers from both Parties being fired.
The time of pussyfooting is over!

America The New Police State

Never in a million years I would have ever believed that our beloved Nation would become a police state, but it looks like it is happening.
I have written about the killing of Marine Jose Guerena in Tucson, and I have written about the Indiana Supreme Court deciding that law enforcement has the right to enter any private home at their discretion, even in absence of a legal search warrant, but the news from Stockton, California, is just the latest in an increasing demonstration that the rule of law may be being abused by the very officers tasked to protect the citizens.

In the California city of Stockton, Kenneth Wright was awaken by about 15 officers who stormed his home early morning this week, detaining him for about six hours and terrorizing his three young children, ages 3, 7 and 11.
Initially the report was that the officers were part of the local police SWAT, but it was later clarified that they actually were part of a group called OIG, which stands for Office of the Inspector General, a federal agency connected with the Department of Education.
A spokesman for the DoE confirmed that the officers from that agency served the warrant, but refused to give details on the reason for the raid. And as it has become customary for the federal government under the Obama regime, transparency, truthfulness and honesty are long forgotten, or never used, virtues.
Mr. Wright, who has no criminal record, was subjected to the action allegedly because his wife, who does not live in the household any longer, skimped on payments for some student loans. The DoE spokesman, though, stated that that was not the reason for the search, but again refusing to give the real reason.

The $64,000 question, then, is this: why is the Department of Education involved in law enforcement activities via para-military units?
I find it extremely disturbing that a federal governmental department, which is an abject failure at whatever it is that they have been doing, has gained so much power and ability to operate above the Constitution, that they are now in charge of raiding the private residences of the American people. And to make things worst, they are allowed to keep secret their motivations upon public scrutiny.

Is that why the DoE has acquired weapons? Is because tactics like this that the IRS has requested a budget for the purchase of shotguns?
The federal government is demonstrating to be increasingly intrusive into the private existence of the citizenry. With the takeover of so much of the private sector, like in the case of Stockton the federal agents incursion would be justified by the government takeover of the student loans industry, this may be only the beginning of a police state in America, a state where governmental law enforcement units would have free reign over the infringement of the rights afforded to the people by the Fourth Amendment.
Next we may very well see federal agents from the HHS raiding our homes if we are not connected enough to gain a waiver against Obamacare, or from the FCC raiding radio and TV stations for dissenting with the government ideology.
All indications are that the direction taken is one similar to the SA in Nazi Germany or Hugo Chavez's Venezuela.

Our freedoms are under attack from the very individuals we entrusted to protect them. President Reagan stated that liberty is one generation away from extinction and the generation most culpable for placing freedom on the endangered list is the one currently running the show in Washington D.C.
There is only one chance left for the American people and that is to cleanse the White House in 2012 and return the Nation to its Constitutional path of justice and freedom. If we falter in the next Presidential Elections, the only country on this planet that still remains a beacon of freedom will no longer exist.

Apples, Oranges, Wieners And Apologists

The story of the moment is taking a life of its own, thanks to the score of apologists for the lying congressman Anthony Weiner. This should be a quick resolving issue, with the weasel politicians admitting his wrong doing, resigning his position and just disappear into the sunset.

But that is not the liberal way.

In yesterday’s press conference where the congressman put on the necessary mixture of contrition and few crocodile tears, Weiner clearly stated that he had no intention to resign.

Of all the apologists for the swine, the one that so far has left me with the biggest “What?” response is Barbara Walters. This is the statement she made on “the View”

"Anthony Weiner, whom I also know, has a problem. He can be very sarcastic and very sardonic. And you know there are a lot of times you wish he would not say it. He is a good congressman. He has been an effective congressman. If Sarah Palin can still ride around on her bus and be considered as a possible president, this man can override this, stay in congress and just hope there is another scandal that will take him -"

Is such statement the proof that the old battleaxe has reached the point where she should finally consider retirement? Sure looks that way. In reading her words, I struggle to find any real sense to them, in both format and concept. But I guess one must be as enlightened as these liberals think they are to understand such babbling.

I fail to see the correlation between the bus tour Sarah Palin is conducting and the survival of Anthony Wiener in Congress.

Sarah Palin is a private citizen, conducting a private activity and, to the dismay of the American left, using her own funds to tour the country promoting the principles of our country. She is not a presidential candidate at this moment and merely exercising her constitutional right to speak. The bitch!

Weiner is an elected official, entrusted by his constituency to represent the will of the people in the House of Representatives. His conduct should be such to deserve that trust. He has failed in his moral test and, most of all, got caught in his activity and in his lies.

As stated previously, I could care less about Weiner’s actions, mostly because my dislike of the man is more based on his ideological idiocy and caustic arrogance than his sexual escapades. That obscure part of his behavior is a matter between him and his wife. Until he lies to the American people to save his own ass; until he lies to the American people trying to trash others to maintain his own farce.

As far as Barbara Walters, comparing Palin’s bus tour with Weiner’s escapades makes as much sense as comparing the proverbial apples and oranges. Unless we are just seeking the trashing of Sarah Palin just for the hell of it, in which case, regardless of the senselessness of the statement, we can try to throw crap to the wall and hope it will stick.

The honorable thing that the NY congressman should do is just resign and go away, hoping that his convenient marriage to a Clinton’s close aid would one day help him get the job he really wants, to be mayor of New York. He should have enough decency left to do as Chris Lee had in NY-26, who resigned after shirtless pictures he had sent to some bimbo on Craig List surfaced.

And good old Barbara should consider retirement. Maybe she can spend the rest of her life as Fidel Castro sex toy (apologize for the visual).

Allied forces hit the French coast at five locations: Omaha, Utah, Juno, Sword and Gold.
Operation Overlord was on the way, the largest amphibious landing in the history of warfare, unleashing the forces of freedom upon the occupied nations of Europe and ushering the beginning of the end of Nazism.

Thousands of American, British, French, Canadian, Polish men braved the fierce Atlantic wall, formidably defended by German forces organized by General Erwin Rommel.

Veterans from that operation, and all Veterans from WWII are dieing every day.
Let us offer our appreciation for their contribution to liberty while we still can.

Thank you, gentlemen. This American will never forget.

No More Circumcision In San Francisco?

That may actually be a reality comes November, when the people of San Francisco will go to the ballot to decide if the practice of circumcising babies right after their birth is to be made illegal. If the measure passes, no male child could undergo the procedure before the age of 18.

The measure, which its founder calls Male Genital Mutilation Bill, gathered enough signatures to make it unto the ballot for the next local elections in November 2011, but local officials will call the bill simply Male Circumcision.

I will refrain from writing about the medical intricacies of the ban, leaving them to the experts in the field, and I will refrain from making any jokes containing foreskin and San Francisco, but I am chiming in the political and social ramifications.

Supporters of the ban are using the semantic “Genital Mutilation” to confuse potential voters in believing that the procedure is a painful and unnecessary operation, similar to the genital mutilation females are subjected to in certain cultures. The parallel is obviously misleading and misguided.

The part that is much more interesting to me is that there is a chance that a government mandated provision will be instituted to, once more, infringe on the people freedoms and rights.

For some religious faiths, circumcision is a rite mandated by their beliefs. For example, Jewish and even Muslim followers consider the procedure an order from God. The ban would be a direct infringement upon their ability to follow their religious guidelines. Just that alone should make the ban unconstitutional.

Then we have the hypocritical aspect of the measure. The proponents are arguing that they are interested in the rights of the child, that they want to protect the welfare of the baby, because children do not have a say in the matter. Ironically, this comes from a city where abortion is king and yet we do not hear any of these people complaining about the rights of the fetuses, nor outrage about the pain that fetus may feel as it is dismembered and killed.

The Jewish community in San Francisco is appalled at the prospect of such religious practice being rendered illegal by a mere group of ignorant activists, and some, and not just in that community, have raised the prospect of a anti-Semitic component to the measure. I was somewhat skeptical about that angle, mostly because the ban would also affect Muslims and not just Jews.

But then I saw the cartoon that is dedicated to the cause of the ban: Foreskin Man. Here is a shot of it.

I found it somewhat disturbing. The action hero could be a poster boy for the Hitler’s Youth and the Jews portrayed in the cartoon all have a devilish look on their faces. Is the cartoon author, a Brazilian named Gledson Barreto, going to also show Muslims in the same way, or is he going to just limit his crusade against Jewish characters? Are these people going to cower in the safety of attacking only Jews for fear of pissing off some Islamists that will put a bomb up their asses?

What also sealed it for me was the name of the president of the company distributing the cartoon: Matthew Hess. Wonder if anyone asked him if he had a great uncle Rudolph somewhere in Europe in the 1940s.

Regardless of a low budget cartoon strip, the very fact that the authorities of San Francisco are even considering such a measure is telling of the level of intrusion that we can see from the government. Sure the measure is the brain fart of Lloyd Schofield and he was somehow able to gather the over 7,000 signatures necessary to present the issue to the voters of San Francisco, but before the government places it on the ballot for the people to vote on, some research should have been made to seek clarity on the constitutionality of it. I am of the opinion that, even if passed, a legal challenge on those grounds will go very far to strike it down.

All this will be costly for the taxpayers of California, what a shock, and with the enormous problems we currently have in our state, the foreskin of newborns is really far down on the priority list.

So I sit here re-reading my words and my research, and I cannot help shaking my head. Maybe if I have a glass of wine, this whole crap will make some sense at all.

The Case Of The Lizard And Drilling For Oil

It has been all over the news lately. A newly developed technology will allow oil companies to access millions of barrels of oil trapped in the rocks of an area extending from western Texas into eastern New Mexico.

This is a much welcomed development at a time when the American people are being economically impacted by the rising cost of energy. The benefits of accessing such a vast quantity of oil is predicted to translate in a 25% increase of domestic oil production and should also mean a equitable reduction of dependency from foreign energy sources.

Additional benefits, which are systematically ignored by the federal government, are the possibility of impacting the price of crude, the economic development of the areas involved and the creation and maintenance of thousands of good paying jobs.

In a time of such dire economic climate, the development of these oil fields should be a priority on the part of a federal government which is really looking for realistic ways to spur our depressed economy. That would actually make sense, but nothing coming out of Washington actually makes sense any more.

The access to the on-shore domestic oil is being threatened by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife agency, on the basis of a suspiciously flawed report from the Center for Biological Diversity.

The report, which found that oil drilling development would devastate the habitat of the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard, was compiled via what many describe as very limited and unscientific data. The problem comes from the consideration, on the part of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife, to place the lizard on the national endangered species list, with devastating consequences for thousands of jobs and national economy.

Interestingly, the counties of Texas and New Mexico that Sceloporus Arenicolus calls home have already seen a vast development of oil exploration, with drilling companies going to great extents to address the protection of the habitat for the little lizard. Drilling operations are also being conducted on both public and private property, so a placement of the creature on the endangered list would effectively bring any activity that may disturb the lizard habitat to a screeching halt.

What we are witnessing here is just another potential intrusion of governmental eco-terrorism into the very life of the American people, something that appears to be a daily occurrence these days.

With the historic record on the part of the current administration to curtail any possibility of American industries to render America less dependent on foreign oil, the decision over this issue from the USFW will be coming down possibly by the end of the year. And thousands of workers are holding their breath as their livelihood rests in the hands of a group of people who have not been elected and against whose decision American workers and businesses practically have no recourse.

In central California, the USFW was able to devastate thousands of jobs and companies by doing the same for a two inch fish, the Sacramento Delta Smelt. To allegedly protect this tiny little fish, the USFW placed it on the endangered list stating that the pumping system that brought water from the Sacramento River to thousands of acres of fertile land in the state had to be shut down.

The result is that thousands of acres of fertile land are now an arid desert; that thousands of farms had to shut down; that thousands of workers lost their jobs; and that much of the products that used to be produced on that land is now imported from abroad. Moreover, the action’s worst victims are those at the bottom of the economic scale, the same folks liberals pretend to champion while instead they sacrifice to the altar of the special interests of a bunch of tree hugging eco-terrorists.

What can be done to avoid a similar occurrence in Texas/New Mexico? I am not confident that there may actually be any remedy we the people can actually bring to this issue, with the exception of placing some pressure upon our representatives in Washington. Unfortunately, I am not too optimistic about any success for such popular action, mostly because of the historic reluctance of politicians to listen to the people.

The uproar from the Sacramento Delta Smelt disaster was fierce, albeit short lived, because the United States Government through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife agency practically gave the people the middle finger and told them to just sit down and shut up.

How easy it must be for a bunch of useless bureaucrats to sit in their plush DC offices enjoying their six digit salaries, or prancing from party to party with the self righteous attitude of being so caring even for the smallest creatures, when they effectively impact the lives of real people, people who work for a living.

The only potential saving grace in the case of the lizard is that the impact of the decision would actually affect not just the local workers and businesses, but it would also have an impact on the national economy. The American people are fed up with the high cost of fuel and the reverberations it has on everything else we purchase, so if the average American is hit in the wallet, the outcry may be loud enough to give a wake up call to politicians in Washington, starting with Obama, regarding the power these agencies have.

One can only hope…

Obama Target Of Union Strongarm

This is laughable, to say the least.
The AFL-CIO president, Richard Trumka has taken up a position of contest against the Messiah in preparation for the 2012 elections.
It appears that the union thug is not satisfied with the speed at which Obama is destroying the Nation, and he is threatening the Big Boss to withdraw the support of the union for his re-election if Obama does not revisit his position on free trade agreements and if Obama does not quell the attention over federal deficit, something Trumka calls hysterical.

So, let me understand this. Trumka is actually threatening the President of the United States. A thug that has contact with the White House on a daily basis, according to Trumka, wants us to believe that the millions of dollars the unions have spent in 2008 will not find their way to the Messiah's coffers. Really? So where will Trumka put the money he steals from the workers?

Do not let this smoke screen hide the fact that there is a definite agenda on the part of the Trumka dude. Threats like this will try to sway attention from the dubious dealings that Trumka and the other "leaders" of today's union will engage in to insure the re-election of their little puppet and the guarantee of 4 more years of national destruction.
Believing that the union leadership will not support Obama is as ludicrous as believing that the majority of blacks will not support him either, regardless of the economic devastation he has created.

So, no rejoicing on this fake news and let us concentrate on the defeat of Obama in November 2012, because that is the very last chance we have to save our country.

What's All The Wiener Fuss All About?

I am really tired of hearing so much about Congressman Wiener's wiener and of its picture being twitted to whoever.
Definitely a sign of the times when in America we make a national issue of some "alleged" indiscretion on the part of a politician. Some people are indignant about the lack of character that Rep. Wiener may have shown in taking and sending the picture, but Bill Clinton was allowed to remain President after doing a lot worse in the White House, Barney Frank is still a Congressman even after running a gay prostitution ring from his own house in Washington, and so on.

The real rejection of Rep. Wiener should be based on the more important impact that he has on the American people, because he is one of the most vile partisan hack in the House.
He should be railed out of Congress for his continuous and assiduous work toward the destruction of the American way of life and of the freedoms we have.
He should be dismissed for his intention to bring the government in every personal aspect of the American people, to control every decision we make.

So, sure, let's make fun and enjoy the joking, but this is a distraction. With the garbage liberals are serving the American people, with the failure their policies have demonstrated, the picture of Wiener's wiener is really very low on the totem pole of significance.

Not to be too critical of the Moron-in-Chief, but WTF does he mean when he says that he is honored to be commander-in-chief of "one of the finest fighting forces the world has ever known"?

Hey asshole, you have the honor to be commander-in-chief of the BEST fighting force that has ever blessed the surface of this damn planet!
The fact is that even as you lie through your teeth and want to blow smoke in the eyes of the feeble American crowd that still supports you, you cannot even bring your sorry self to address the United States Military for what it really is.
Your dislike for anything that represents the most honorable part of our country is so blatant that you cannot even qualify it for what it is. You cannot digest the fact that the United States Exceptionalism has been such because of the ability of the US Military to project its power by inflicting death and destruction on the enemies of the Nation and at the same time being able to conduct the most sensible, compassionate missions of assistance to those in need.

Obama hates the country he has been elected to lead, and naturally it is impossible for this guy to recognize the importance of its Military.

Well, Mr. President, the dishonor is all ours!
