June 6, 1944 – June 6, 2009. What a difference 65 years make. Then an entire country stood behind the American Military as it bled and die on the shores of Normandy and countless other battlefields across the globe, across the unforgiving enormity of the Pacific Ocean. Then an entire country joined a President in prayer for those who were embarking on a gigantic step toward the final victory over tyranny and the liberation of an entire continent.
Today, we witness a American President speaking at Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach, where so much sacrifice and heroism was witnessed, who in an un-emotional, convoluted speech, pays a tired tribute to those who have in the past carried the brunt of American ideals while at the same time purposely ignoring those who are still doing so in two separate conflicts.
While participating in the 65th Anniversary of the Normandy landing, Obama spoke in his usual rhetoric rich manner. As I started to listen to the speech, I was struck by the lack of any emotional underlining in his delivery. It is beyond my comprehension how can anyone stand at that historical site and in front of the remaining Veterans, a lot of who, it is known, will probably be on the last visit to the place where they made history and where a lot of their friends still are to never get older, and not being in total awe. So once the automated delivery of someone else’s words started, my interest in the speech was practically over and I preferred to read the transcripts instead. At one point, Obama made a statement that hit me for what he did not say, more than what he did:
That is the story of Normandy -- but also the story of America; of the Minutemen who gathered on a green in Lexington; of the Union boys from Maine who repelled a charge at Gettysburg; of the men who gave their last full measure of devotion at Inchon and Khe San; of all the young men and women whose valor and goodness still carry forward this legacy of service and sacrifice.
What was omitted was a direct reference to Iraq and Afghanistan. Faithful to his opposition to the Iraqi war, the President could not and would not address those who have again made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country and in name of giving a foreign people the gift of self determination. Faithful in his mission of dismantling and discrediting everything America has accomplished in Iraq, he made sure that the sacrifice of the fallen and their families was once again disregarded by the Military’s Commander in Chief.
Similarly, the US Military efforts in Afghanistan were ignored, most likely, in my opinion, not to mar the accommodating stance that Obama has taken toward the Islamic world. The Military is witnessing the person who should be advancing and praising their efforts leaving them out of a speech dedicated to commemorate those who came before them.
Normandy, Lexington, Gettysburg, Inchon, Khe San should have been joined by Al Kafji and Felluja and Ramadi and Tora Bora, as the efforts and dedication and the blood spilled in those locations was just as American. The main difference is that there seems to be reluctance on the part of the Obama Administration to mention any of the efforts made by our Military against the forces of extreme Islamic terrorism.
It is highly disturbing how the blood of American Service Members is continuously been used by Obama and his cronies to advance, promote and impose their anti-American political agenda.
There is really no end to the level of disgust that I feel every time the President speaks about the Military, as it is obvious to me that the men and women in uniform have been used and abused by him and those in his regime for exclusive political scope.
One of the most used expressions regarding Obama and his approach to politics is “thrown under the bus”, and it really is the one phrase that would more effectively be the descriptive one for this man who has built a career upon the shoulders of others while always ready to discard them the moment that they no longer fit in the puzzle of political power he is building.
And while this man is repeatedly generating waves of nausea inside me as I see his total abuse of his CinC position, while his posture and behavior is continuously showing his open disregard for our men and women in uniform, the same men and women continue to do their job, spurred by their belief in the US Constitution, fully aware of the oath taken and battling the ongoing attempt to demoralize them on the part of the civilian leadership in Washington.
The men and women in uniform stay focused on their missions, but their families are home dealing with a prevalent environment of national indifference, opposition and ignorance fostered by those in the highest governmental positions.
Maybe members of the Military will not remember or dwell too much on the treatment received by politicians, as their duty and unit brotherhood will be strong and lasting. But the families will never forget, Mr. President. I will never forget!

June 6, 1944
June 6, 1944. The day the Greatest Generation stepped up to the challenge of saving the world from tyranny and oppression. The day, 65 years ago, when Operation Overlord begun and thousands of American soldiers, together with their allies, British, Canadians, Polish and more, faced the insurmountable task of invading Fortress Europe. They brought back hope to those in Europe who had been subjected to Nazi occupation.
Their legacy is felt today after 65 years and with their ranks diminishing at great rate due to advanced age, we must take the time to let them know the debt of gratitude we owe them.
We also must insure that future generation will always be made aware of the blood that was paid for freedom on the beaches of Normandy and subsequently across Europe.
Most of all, we must insure that the history of sacrifice of American soldiers is not re-written by those who have been brainwashed by the prevalent anti-American forces across the globe and within our borders, especially in our colleges and universities.
Let us never forget that the freedom we still enjoy in our daily life has not been won by politicians, or by the Media, or by lawyers, or by community organizers. It has been won and kept by national strength and pride, by the sacrifice of loyal citizens, but most of all by the strength afforded to our nation by those who have in the past and still today wear the uniform of the US Military.
May God bless all our Veterans and their families. And may God bless all those who 65 years ago took on evil and defeated it, writing a chapter of American history we shall never forget.

Political Correctness Kills Again
Three days after the murder of Pvt. William Andrew Long and the wounding of Pvt. Quinton I. Ezeagwula in Arkansas, information comes out that the accused murderer had been arrested in 2004 on weapon charges. Charges were subsequently dropped and the scum was back on the streets, leading to the ending of Pvt. Long’s life.
Why were the charges dropped? Why was this animal not in prison? If his history was such to warrant FBI surveillance, why was this piece of shit walking the streets of America, free to plot his ‘revenge’ against our country and our Military?
Are the American people ever going to get an answer?
Allegedly, the scum had several targets planned for his jihad, including day care centers. I cannot stop thinking that if he would have carried through his plans against innocent children, his actions would have been of much greater impact on the psyche of those Americans who are totally disconnected from the Military.
But I have a solution. As the Federal Government is not going to do anything to insure the safety of the lives of Military members on our own soil, the Military should allow its members to be armed and ready to protect themselves.
As Daris Long, grief-struck father of the slain soldiers said, the war went to find his son away from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan. Ironically truthful statement, as regardless of the apologies Obama is making to the Muslim world and the indifference toward the death of Pvt. Long, America is at war against an insidious enemy that is already among us.
Abdulhakim Muhammad benefited from the PC mentality that has been undermining America’s society for a long time now, worsening every day as we witness it and remain inactive. A black man and a converted Muslim, he should have been locked up as he committed his crime, but instead he was free to commit his evil deed. Haw many Abdulhakim Muhammad are out there?
Federal law enforcement rushed to the Media within 24 hours to state that Abdulhakim Muhammad was an isolated, lone gunman with no ties to any specific group, and I say to them: prove it to me! If that’s the case, why are precautions being taken in other parts of the country, like New York and Philadelphia and Atlanta and Memphis and other locations, at Christian and Jewish institutions?
And why is Vandenberg Air Force base in California in a heightened state of alert for an undefined period of time?
Yes, Mr. Long is correct in his assessment: the war is here, and the responsibility falls at the doorstep of politicians of all ideological tendencies. They bent over for the Politically Correctness police, more interested in re-election than the safety and security of the US citizens catering to the pieces of garbage like Abdulhakim Muhammad, and we are all paying the price for their ineptitude.
Without releasing the Bush Administration of their responsibility for the current state of affair, at least they kept us basically attack-free for seven years. The new regime, with all the apologizing and willingness to recognized and negotiate with our sworn enemies will create a much more fertile ground for scum like Abdulhakim Muhammad.
For way too long now the American people have been trying to make nice with those in our own country that have ill intentions toward our people and our way of life. I am only afraid to find out what is going to take for the average American to realize that we are in a unsustainable course toward disaster.

A Father's Pain
While the silence from the White House and the rest of the current political leadership regarding the murder of Pvt. William Long and the wounding of Pvt. Quenton Ezeagwula is deafening, and while the homegrown Muslim terrorist is enjoying all the needed physical and legal protection in prison, KATV in Little Rock gives America the image of what is great about our country.

These are the images of a father’s pain and of the immense dignity and composure that only a Veteran, in his case a Marine, can master.
We should all take note and learn from this man and his family tragedy.
While I am in awe of Mr. Long (as a Blue Star father I honestly don’t know if I could have such self-control) and send him and his family my most sincere and heartfelt condolences, I am nauseated by the complete ignoring of this family’s plight on the part of our illustrious President, who has had plenty of occasions, in the last 48 hours, to make a statement of condemnation for the crime. And would any so-called reporter have the integrity to question him on it?
For a while now, complaints about the disconnect between those who serve in the Military and their families and the rest of the American population has been resounding from endless Military quarters, and it is offensive enough when it is the common civilian to demonstrate such disconnect, but when it is the Commander-in-Chief to act in such manner, it is cause for a low morale among those serving and those of us home worrying about our loved ones.
I have only one word for Mr. Obama: disgusting!

Earned Privilege
The Justice Department has turned down the State of Georgia attempt to require citizens to have a form of identification before they can register to vote, citing that the requirement would be a discriminatory system that would hinder minorities in the exercise of their voting rights.
Georgia passed a law last Spring requiring verification of citizenship for all who wanted to register to vote. Of course the ACLU and the Mexican American Defense Fund sued over this and the Department of Justice, Obama’s DoJ, shut the whole thing down.
How dare a state demand that its citizens prove their eligibility to vote? Well according to the DoJ, it is then discrimination to require someone to possess a recognized ID in order to exercise a right that the Constitution affords to those who are United States Citizens.
The ability to vote in America is, in my opinion, an earned privilege, not just a right given to anyone who is going to vote your way. If one is US born, the ability to prove it by having a Social Security card should be an easy way to prove the eligibility of that person to cast a ballot. The excuse is that one may have lost the card, and the answer is very simple: request a replacement. Voting is important enough to warrant taking the time to have all the needed documents available.
If one is an immigrant, like myself, the answer is even simpler, because the privilege to vote is earned by taking the time to become a US citizen, which gives you the ability to have a US passport, which is proof of eligibility.
So what it comes down to is that the burden to prove eligibility to vote should be carried by the citizen not the whole country. It should be up to the individual to follow the law, not to the law to be circumvented to accommodate the individual.
In an age when ACORN has been under investigation for voter registration fraud, investigation which surely will be dropped by Obama’s DoJ anytime, the prospect of voter fraud is an active and disturbing threat to one of the pillars of our Republic. Interestingly, the people most opposed to the verification of voter eligibility are those who are dedicated to give illegal immigrants all the same rights that US citizens have. Moreover, the argument that always works is the racial one, where minorities are always targeted. It appears that applying the laws of our land as dictated by the US Constitution, in the case of voting rights, are racist.
Find any reason to undermine the rule of law, as long as it fits the maintenance of power and the ideology of people control. This is the Hope and Change America voted for.

Dereliction Of Duty
When Dr. George Tiller was gunned down by Scott Roeder as he was going to his church on Sunday, the attention of the Left concentrated not only on the senseless crime of murder that had once again plagued our society, but the assassination took a political turn as Dr. Tiller was a renown abortion doctor. The criminal who took his life and the crime became an agenda driven symbol of what the pro-abortion advocates consider a true gift for their cause.
Even Obama chimed in about the crime and rightfully so, as one cannot in any case react in such manner to whatever policy is disagreeing with, lest the road to anarchy would be wide open.
Regardless of one’s personal position on the ever-so-controversial issue of abortion, Dr. Tiller was not breaking the law as it stands today, therefore his murder is to be condemned as much as any similar crime.
My moral and ideological position is that if one disagrees with a specific legislation, one has the right to dissent, but always within the boundaries of the rule of law. Even in protest, the conduct of each one of us must remain lawful.
As a result of Dr. Tiller’s homicide, AG Holder is considering having the U.S. Marshal Service guard abortion clinics.
On Monday, June 1st, a man drove up to an Armed Forces Recruiting Office in Arkansas and gunned down two soldiers who were in front of it having a smoke. The attack left one soldier, William Long, 24, dead and one critically wounded, Quenton Ezeagwula, 18.
Shortly after, the attacker was apprehended on a nearby highway and arrested, still in possession of the assault rifle used in the attack.
As the details of the assault became known, the public found out that the ‘alleged’ attacker was one Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, 24.
It has become known now that the man is a convert to Islam and his motive for the attack was the grudge he holds against the Military for their war against Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq.
As more details become available, it also becomes obvious the different approach that the American so-called leadership is taking toward the two incidents, because no statement has come out of the White House regarding the murder of Long, who, together with Ezeagwula, had just come back from Basic Training and was working as a recruiter’s assistant.
Also absent is any step from AG Holder regarding any additional security from Federal Law Enforcement Agency to be offered to Military Recruiting Centers, even after the multiple attacks they have been victims of in the last few years.
This brings me to my thoughts.
Regarding the murder of Dr. Tiller, I believe that the person responsible should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, including the application of capital punishment, as premeditation has been basically proven.
By similar parameters, the murderer of William Long should also receive the maximum the law allows, including the death penalty. As a matter of fact, I would like to see these two champions of their religious beliefs sharing the same cell on death row. Maybe the taxpayers’ could get a good deal by executing both at the same time, like a group discount?
The other aspect of my thinking is regarding the reaction to the two murders from the White House. Statement from the President and ‘action’ from the Attorney General for the case of Dr. Tiller, but practically nothing for the case of Pfc. Long. What does that tell me? Really, nothing new.
I have sustained for a long time that the Obama Administration considers the Military almost as an enemy, but one that they see mandatory to pander to. I am convinced that the Military is viewed by the Obama regime as a great threat to their goal for the country.
From the lack of real interest during his campaigning to the actions on Guantanamo and Iraq, and from the cutting of the Military budget at a time our Military is involved in two wars to the release of the Right Wing Manual from the Homeland Security Agency which singled out Veterans as potential right wing activist, the Obama clan has been dumping on the men and women in uniform at every possible turn, even considering having those Veterans in need of medical help having to pay for their own care.
Regardless of how many articles the Media publishes about the Military Family cause taken up by Michelle Obama, and no matter the flowery speech Obama’s teleprompter makes, my impression still remains that the American leadership has quite a disdain for the Military, in true progressive fashion.
Violence against Military Recruitment Centers has increased since the beginning of the war in Afghanistan following the 9-11 attacks, with groups like Code Pink being on the forefront of the incitement of it. After the murder of Dr. Tiller, the blame for that act of violence was given by the Left to everybody and their brother: Bush, O’Reilly, the Pope, the Church, Christians, the NRA and whoever else one could think of.
So I am putting forward my interpretation of guilt for the murder of William Long. I hold Ted Kennedy and Dick Durbin responsible for inciting Islamic nutcases to even more violence by parading the Abu Grahib pictures for months at the time in front of every video camera they could put their ugly faces and even uglier souls in front of. I hold Obama responsible for reverting back to pre-9/11 times and giving the FBI counter-terrorism jurisdiction over CIA, because the killer of Williams was under FBI surveillance following a trip he had made to Yemen and Jihad indoctrination he had received there from a local Imam. Well, what happened to the surveillance?
In the meantime, there is a family that has to bury a 24 years old soldier. It is hard enough when a soldier falls on the battlefield, but when the death occurs on American soil, when the only fault of the young man was to want to serve his country, the loss is just senseless.
I understand that the Obama pandering to the Muslim world is at its height these days with the upcoming speech he is going to give in Egypt, probably another apology for big, bad America, but ignoring the reality of the potential for similar violence within our borders from Islamic extremists is, to me, dereliction of duty.
Are the American streets becoming as dangerous for our Military as the streets of Baghdad or Fellujah or Kabul?

From the lack of real interest during his campaigning to the actions on Guantanamo and Iraq, and from the cutting of the Military budget at a time our Military is involved in two wars to the release of the Right Wing Manual from the Homeland Security Agency which singled out Veterans as potential right wing activist, the Obama clan has been dumping on the men and women in uniform at every possible turn, even considering having those Veterans in need of medical help having to pay for their own care.
Regardless of how many articles the Media publishes about the Military Family cause taken up by Michelle Obama, and no matter the flowery speech Obama’s teleprompter makes, my impression still remains that the American leadership has quite a disdain for the Military, in true progressive fashion.
Violence against Military Recruitment Centers has increased since the beginning of the war in Afghanistan following the 9-11 attacks, with groups like Code Pink being on the forefront of the incitement of it. After the murder of Dr. Tiller, the blame for that act of violence was given by the Left to everybody and their brother: Bush, O’Reilly, the Pope, the Church, Christians, the NRA and whoever else one could think of.
So I am putting forward my interpretation of guilt for the murder of William Long. I hold Ted Kennedy and Dick Durbin responsible for inciting Islamic nutcases to even more violence by parading the Abu Grahib pictures for months at the time in front of every video camera they could put their ugly faces and even uglier souls in front of. I hold Obama responsible for reverting back to pre-9/11 times and giving the FBI counter-terrorism jurisdiction over CIA, because the killer of Williams was under FBI surveillance following a trip he had made to Yemen and Jihad indoctrination he had received there from a local Imam. Well, what happened to the surveillance?
In the meantime, there is a family that has to bury a 24 years old soldier. It is hard enough when a soldier falls on the battlefield, but when the death occurs on American soil, when the only fault of the young man was to want to serve his country, the loss is just senseless.
I understand that the Obama pandering to the Muslim world is at its height these days with the upcoming speech he is going to give in Egypt, probably another apology for big, bad America, but ignoring the reality of the potential for similar violence within our borders from Islamic extremists is, to me, dereliction of duty.
Are the American streets becoming as dangerous for our Military as the streets of Baghdad or Fellujah or Kabul?

Sgt. Thornhill lost both legs and was burned over 56%of his body in the service to our country.
