Do you remember Cindy Sheehan? She was the mother who after losing her son in Iraq became the face of the anti-war, anti-Bush movement in America. She was used and abused by the MSM who manipulated here as much as it was convenient to attack the President and the war policies in Iraq and Afghanistan, sponsored, paid and paraded by the media across every television set in America.
There was no news media report, from the National to the local level that would not at least dedicate a snippet to the grieving mom Cindy, with anchor people stepping all over each other to have the woman speak in front of their cameras.
Now, I know several Gold Star mothers and fathers. I have seen their pain on their faces and have been in awe of their strengths and characters, completely amazed by the composure they demonstrated in the unspeakable, indescribable pain they have been sentenced to suffer for the rest of their lives. As far as Sheehan, as much as I felt sorrow for her loss, I also found out that she really was not what one would describe as “mother of the year” as the MSM had toiled so hard to depict. So, as much as I could sympathize with her motherly pain, I could not reconcile her actions with honoring her son’s service and sacrifice.
One compliment I must offer Sheehan is about consistency, at least so far. The reason is that news report tell that she is planning on staging an anti-war protest at Martha’s Vineyard when Obama will be there vacationing. She is reportedly in disagreement with the President regarding the war in Afghanistan, the increase in troop level, and still about our presence in Iraq.
Well, it appears that the anti-Bush darling of the MSM has lost some of her appeal. In an interview with a Chicago radio station, ABC anchorman Charles Gibson was asked about the protest Sheehan is planning against Obama, and the ABC strongman practically told her that he had had enough of her protest. This is part of what Gibson said of Sheehan:
It's such a sad story. Martha Raddatz [of ABC News] wrote a terrific book about one battle that took place in Iraq, and it was the battle in which Cindy's son was killed. And you look at somebody like that and you think here's somebody who's just trying to find some meaning in her son's death. And you have to be sympathetic to her. Anybody who has given a son to this country has made an enormous sacrifice, and you have to be sympathetic. But enough already.
"But Enough Already"
The difference between the embrace Cindy received just few years back, including Gibson interview and following her to the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas, and the rejection of today is astounding. Is it time that has made Cindy unpopular for the Media? Certainly not! The major difference is the man in the White House.
If the President would have been McCain, you can bet your bottom dollar that Gibson would have been in tow to Martha’s Vineyard or wherever else Sheehan and McCain would have been. But the President is Obama and there is no way in hell that Gibson or the rest of the Media will allow the little woman to add anything to the tough stretch Obama has been going through in the last few weeks.
The Media manipulated this woman and her pain to advance their anti-Bush agenda and after the candidate they invested whatever little credibility they still had, won the elections, there is no way that they are going to allow her to tarnish the Messiah in any way.
I can predict, and be very safe saying so, that there will be absolutely no coverage in the MSM of Cindy Sheehan in Martha’s Vineyard. There will be no interview with Charlie Gibson or Katie Koric, no melodramatic reporting from any of the CNN anchorettes. Nothing.
And surely, there will be no George Soros to bankroll the protest.
Well, Cindy, you are on your own now. You have outlived your usefulness to the vultures of the airwaves and are not only not needed any longer, but you are actually now attacking the Anointed One and you better not or they will destroy you. We conservatives have respect for your status as a Gold Star mom, while the Left could not care less about it, so the mild treatment you received from those of us that disagree with you is nothing compared to the character assassination methodology Liberals will put you through if you dare attack their king Obama.
I am really sorry for this, because no political agenda should take prevalence over the sacrifice the American Military has made since 9-11-01, but this is not the 1940s and, with the notable exception of a percentage of the population, ours is NOT the Greatest Generation, as personal interest and greed and political agenda have trampled the true principles of our country.
In any case, Cindy, enough is enough. Just go away now. MSM does not need you anymore.
And these are my thoughts!

In Your Face!
21 August 2009
Just as predicted, thousands of Libyans welcomed the hero of PanAm Flight 103 home, even after the “stern” admonition from the White House.
Obama called the release a “mistake” warning Gedhafi not to welcome Megrahi home like a hero. And just as expected, our enemies flipped the finger at American dead and had their celebrations, because after all what is Obama going to do about it.
Maybe he will not bow to Gedhafi next meeting? Maybe not apologize?
I wish I could have been Commander-in-Chief for a day with a Super Carrier off the coast of Libya, as that plane would have never made it across the Mediterranean Sea. Then Obama could have apologized for it!
Gedhafi surely is feeling the love that the West has granted him after he decided, few years back, to "abandon and repudiate" terrorism. That was a decision he made at the time when President Bush was leading the War on Terror that today is been considered over by Obama and his cronies.
No more fear on the part of the Libyan thug for the anti-terrorist policies of America, as Obama has made it amply clear that America is not in the War on Terror any longer, so it is time for the Muslim terrorist to go back to their positions.

By the time Obama is going to be fired, our National security will have been so undermined that it will be very costly, in blood and treasure, to make us safe again, as 9-11-01 has shown us.
Isn't it ironic that Obama has had harsher words for those Americans that reject his Socialist ideals than for those involved in the freeing of a terrorist murderer?

Culture Of Death
20 August 2009
Expression that is mostly used in reference to Islamic fundamentalists, culture of death is gaining strength when referring to Obama and the Socialists in power in America today.
As it is well known, and practically ignored by many religious leaders, being Catholics or Jewish or whatever else, Obama and the Liberals never saw an abortion they did not like, and they are not too conspicuous in championing a health care bill that practically will encourage the idea of suicide masked as “end of life counseling”, a truly inspirational and impressive rhetoric on the part of our so-called leaders. Obama has also surrounded himself with people that are believers in population control.
Well, as the Liberals, who don’t have a clue about what is in Waxman’s bill, and the White House, via that pinnacle of knowledge and arrogance that is spokesman Gibbs, denied that Obamacare is advocating the so-called “death boards”, one only has to look toward the Veterans Agency to see the true goal and modus operandi of the people in power today.
In a Wall Street Journal editorial, Jim Towey, president of Saint Vincent College, who also was director of the White House Office of Faith-Based Initiatives (2002-2006) and founder of the nonprofit Aging with Dignity, calls Americans’ attention to a VA booklet called “Your Life, Your Choices”.
The 52 page booklet was first created in 1996 during the Clinton administration. It was to be used as a guide for veterans to establish living wills, but it was also a publication suggestive of the advantages of physician-assisted suicide. The author of the booklet is one Dr. Robert Pearlman who was the president of the VA National Center for Ethics in Health Care and a supporter of health care rationing.
During the Bush administration, “Your Life, Your Choices” was banned by the White House, only to be revived by Obama just a month ago.
Ok then, let me see if I get this straight. The Obama regime is re-instating a publication for those Veterans who are in need of care from the VA that gives them a clear view of the advantages for them and for their families of ending their lives. So basically, a member of the Military that has served his or her country in Iraq or Afghanistan, and who has had the misfortune to come back home missing some limbs, paralyzed, blind or suffering from PTSD, but the fortune to be still alive, is going to be encouraged by representatives of the same country that they sacrificed to defend to lessen the personal and family burden by ending their lives.
It is for me extremely ironic that the medical advances made in the field of trauma treatment for those wounded on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, advances that have resulted in exhilarating rates of survivability on the part of our sons and daughters, is being rendered pointless by a political class that is bent on subjugating the American people to a government controlled heath care. It literally infuriates me when I think about the dedication and sacrifice that Combat Medics and Corpsmen exhibit on the battlefield, only to realize that those whose lives they saved will be encouraged by their government to kill themselves so that some money can be saved and Obama will be able to use that money to pay for the abortion of some welfare blood sucker or some illegal immigrant.
So, as it appears, there is an apparent indication that the Obama administration is determined to ask those Veterans that may be in need of VA medical assistance, to give their life for the country welfare entitlement system.
I cannot deny the brilliancy of Obama on this subject, as not only he would be able to shift the funds necessary for the care of Veterans to the leaches of our society, but he would be get rid of those elements of our society that he most despise and fear: Veterans.
This booklet the VA has, which was banned by the Bush Administration only to be re-instated by Obama’s cronies, like the much hailed Gen. Shinseki, is a disgrace for a country like the US, where life preservation, especially for its Veterans, should be the top priority. But the disgraceful and appalling behavior of these immoral and evil people in Washington is just another demonstration of the culture of death that they champion. The lives of regular Americans and especially the Veterans, is of no value for them, except those who support them politically and only to that extent.
2010 cannot come fast enough. Time to cleanse the Halls of Congress and emasculate this dictatorial President, turning him into a lame duck as quickly as possible, so that the Nation can be returned to its rightful owners: the American People.

Misplaced Compassion
20 August 2009
The date was December 21 1988, just four days before Christmas. Over 250 people boarded the plane, most of them students on their way to spend the Christmas Holiday with their families. The mood was festive and even more so for the families that were expecting the passengers of Pan Am flight 103.
But those families would never embrace their loved ones again. Those on the plane, 259 souls, and 11 more innocent people in the Scottish village of Lockerbie were wiped out by the actions of a Libyan sponsored terrorist act.
The bomb planted on the aircraft exploded just few minutes after the plane took off from London, as it was flying over the sleepy Scottish village, ripping the plane apart and causing it to plunge straight into unsuspecting habitants of Lockerbie.
The only person indicted for the horrible act of terrorism and convicted, is one Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, who was finally convicted in2001 and sentenced to spend the rest of his life in the Scottish prison of Greenock. Even the Libyan dictator Gadhafi admitted the responsibility of the Libyan government and offered some compensation for the victims, the moment that he realized President George W. Bush was not taking terrorism as lightly as his predecessors had.
Today, Megrahi, after just spending eight years in prison, is on his way home to Libya on one of Gedhafi’s personal airplanes, having received a compassion release from prison by the Scottish authorities. The basis of the compassion release is that the terrorist is affected by terminal prostate cancer and only has few months to live. Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill made the decision that based on the fact the man is dying, it was the compassionate thing to do to let him die in his homeland.
These are the facts, and now my thoughts.
It is extremely hard for me to even begin to feel any compassion for someone who has so much blood of innocent people on his hands. Here we have a sub-human piece of excrement who purposely placed an explosive device on a civilian aircraft, for the sole purpose of killing innocent civilians. Here we have a terrorist who was bent on inflicting pain and suffering on people, specifically American people, who had had absolutely nothing to do with any gripe he could have had against the US.
My thoughts go to the final moments of those doomed passengers on flight 103, those who survived the initial explosion and aircraft break up only to experience the terrorizing final seconds of their existence. My thoughts also go to those on the ground who were just living their lives only to be crashed and burned by the plunging of the aircraft on their homes. And finally my thoughts go to those who received the horrible news that their loved ones will never reach their destination.
And with these thoughts going through my mind, my willingness to afford any kind of compassion toward Mr. Megrahi diminishes exponentially.
This situation is one of the reasons why I am a strong supporter of capital punishment, because it is my deep belief that someone like this kind example of human trash, responsible for the pain and suffering of so many innocent people, should have been sent to Allah a long time ago.
But the reality is that so many people across the world have reached a mental condition where holding someone to their responsibilities is no longer considered an important human behavior, having been replaced by the need for sensibility, by the need to feel good about oneself, and screw those directly affected by the actions of pure evil people.
I am sure that Kenny MacAskill had no family member on the plane or living in the homes of Lockerbie devastated by the attack. Had his son or daughter, his wife or mother had been among those who perished, maybe the man would have found it harder to feel the compassion for the scum bag.
So what could be motivating the man to grant Megrahi the gift of supposedly die in peace at his home? It is hard to give an answer, and I am not into psychological analysis, but I can surely express that I feel the political correctness and the touchy feely approach is going to be the end of free men across the globe, as those in the business of terrorizing free people, those in the business of subjugating others, those in the business to force their social and religious convictions on everybody, those who make it their life goal to have gripes against the rest of the world, will never cease to conduct their murderous acts. Showing compassion and understanding will only embolden these characters and weaken the ideals of freedom and self-determination that the West should be championing.
And how is public opinion going to react if upon the terrorist arrival in Libya, if and when images of jubilant Libyans welcoming him as a hero are going to show up on the News?
Are all those compassionate peaceniks going to be moved by the images?
Betrayal of the families of those who perished in 1988 has been justified by the decision that it was more important to feel good about oneself. The right to justice of these families was sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.
I surely hope that all those who are now getting a warm feeling about this terrorist being allowed to end his miserable life at home will never have to endure the pain of a loss similar as the one this man condemned so many innocent people to suffer. I can only hope that his last few days on this Earth will be as painful.

Fire Barbara Boxer
17 August 2009
Finally some good news for California and Californians: it appears that Barbara Boxer is going to have a real contender in the run for the US Senate in November 2010.
The person that seems to gave a good chance to finally rid the state of this scourge of a Liberal is Carly Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett Packard.
According to an article from the Mercury News, Boxer may not be a shoe in for re-election next year. This incompetent and petulant woman, Boxer, may become the victim of her irresponsible and reckless support of Obama Socialist agenda, attitude that may give the people of California the necessary motivation, combined with the disastrous economic conditions in the state, to finally search elsewhere for someone to represent the state in the Senate.
Carly Fiorina brings to the race not only a vast executive experience, but she also brings a personal wealth that she can use in the campaign, not being hindered by the incompetence of the California Republican Party, who has not being capable to field any real opponent to the sisters-of-hell Boxer and Feinstein for years.
So this is a race that we Californians need to work for so to achieve the mind blowing satisfaction of firing Boxer and send her back to the dungeon she came from.
There are several other races that we should word hard at following and hopefully influence. The whole House of Representatives is up for re-election in 2010, and that includes Nancy Pelosi, Henry Waxman (30th district) and Maxine Waters (35th district).
Pelosi is an obvious hope for firing, and it appears that some of her San Francisco constituency is not too happy with her, which gives hope to the belief that there still are few people in that city that have not completely fried their own brains.
The battle in Waxman and Waters districts is indeed a very tough one. Waxman, a champion of corruption, appears to have control over the people of his district.
Maxine Waters also appears to have achieved a lock on her predominantly black constituency, not because of her service to the community, but thanks to her continue use of the race card. She has successfully accomplished the indirect slave trade at the expenses of her “own people”.
The next elections are 14 months away, plenty of time for Californians to mobilize and work so that all congressional incumbents are unceremoniously fired in November 2010. Let’s clean the House and the Senate first, which will practically render Obama impotent and then get rid of him in 2012.

Silent No More!
16 August 2009
It is absolutely appalling the open level of hypocrisy that the Liberals in America have reached. It is so completely out in the open that I find myself, at times, speechless. Does not happen often but it does occasionally.
In the last few weeks, such hypocrisy has reached the pinnacle of disgust and bad taste. The Liberals in Congress who have been pelted by common Americans in the famous town halls over various subjects, especially heath care reform, are resulting to vindictive tactics to basically shut the people down and prevent them from expressing their dissent.
“Dissent is patriotic” was the battle cry of the Left during the Bush administration. Hillary Clinton was literally screaming it at her campaign rallies. The same assertion was invoked by all who would get access to a public forum, that as Americans they had the freedom and duty to protest the actions of what they called the Bush regime. And yet today the same people who were so eloquent regarding the “American people right to dissent” are incensed by the American people exercising that very right. Dissenting with the current regime is racist.
Pelosi supported and encouraged deranged and psychotic Code Pink lowlifes in her district of San Francisco as they marched through the streets with signs depicting Bush with Hitler-style moustache and covered with swastikas. Today, queen Pelosi is accusing the American people to show up at her town hall with swastika signs. Curiously enough, there were no pictures of any of these offenders taken at the meetings, which is suspicious to me considering the extent to which the media goes to insure their shameless support for Obama and his cronies. Moreover, what some American people are becoming aware of is the parallelism between what Obama and co. is doing with the historical knowledge of Nazi Germany.
The accusations on the part of Liberals against the vociferous protestations of common Americans at their town hall meeting have been of disruption and rudeness. In 2006 Pelosi, at one of her rallies, was interrupted by anti-war protesters and she actually stated that she welcomed the disruption, as it was a right for Americans to disagree. And yet, she now calls those who are finally voicing their rejection of the Obama and Congress socialist take over as rude and obnoxious un-Americans.
So for all intents and purposes, according to queen Pelosi, the RIGHT of Americans to protest is conditioned by the party association: protest against Republicans is patriotic. Protest against Democrats is un-American disruption.
Liberals have leveled accusations against those Americans who have taken the time to participate in protests against an ever increasingly intrusive government, of being organized and funded by special interests. The Left has downplayed the Tea Parties and the millions of people who took time out of their lives to publicly express their rejection of Socialist governmental tactics, calling these public exercises of First Amendment right as being sponsored and fueled by special interests and the Republican Party. This really makes me chuckle, as I have attended couple of these protests and have not received any kind of encouragement from any lobbying entity and I don’t even consider myself a Republican any longer.
At one specific rally on July 4th, a car went through the intersection we were gathered at in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and a black man yelled out the window “You f……. racists!” which made me take notice, again, that what the Left has accomplished is to poison the minds of some American people that it is about Obama being black. The all “inclusive” president has drawn the battle lines on the race issue in order to insure his own political power grab. And the ignorant, fickle masses of blacks don’t realize that it is just by doing such thing that Obama is condemning them to a new kind of slavery. Governmental organized slavery.
But the level of hypocrisy that the Left has reached is somewhat amusing, as the images of the town halls protests appear on the news. As the so-called Health Care Reform bill is being analyzed by the American people (HR 3200) there is an increasingly strong realization that many of the provisions enumerated in the bill are just not what the American people want.
In pure Soviet Socialist approach, the Left has been denigrating the protesters with the intention of destroying their ability to express their discontent by virtue of down grading them. Pelosi and Co. called them un-American; they have been called an unruly mob; Harry Reid labeled them “evil mongers”. And yet, what appears to the viewer is a conglomeration of senior afraid for their lives and prosperity, young people afraid for their young families, middle class folks who are very concerned about a deficit spending that is condemning their grand-children to a huge debt even if they are not even born yet. There are Veterans and housewives and doctors and professionals at these meetings, voicing their concerns. There are unemployed workers, who see an enormous spending going on in Washington directed at the Government intrusion into our lives, but nothing being done about providing jobs for Americans. These are people who would rather work than being “taken care of” by the politicians in Congress and White House.
Yes, these are the insurance companies’ plants into these meetings, and according to the Left, a despicable show of evil companies flexing their muscles. So Socialist Congress responds to this by sending bus loads of union thugs to “counter-protest”. If one looks at the videos of these rallies and meeting, one can see that those voicing their dissent are all common Americans, dressed like common Americans (regardless what Barbara Boxer says), while the counter-protesters are all wearing the union shirts. So my question is: who is organizing what?
And finally, the most disturbing hypocrisy of all! The White House has set up a web link for Americans to snitch on Americans. Officially, the link is designed for supporters of the Obamacare disaster to report any “erroneous” information regarding it. But in reality what the link does is gives the ability to Obama supporters and ill-informed Americans to snitch on fellow Americans. It is a way for the White House to create a database of e-mail addresses of people who disagree with Obama. So the question comes to mind: why is the White House collecting these data? What are they planning on using it for? Already it has been revealed that some folks across the country have received unsolicited e-mails from none other than David Axelrod, raising the suspicion that the first goal of the data collection is being used as a harassment tool. The step from this to full blown intimidation is short. And if the approval numbers of Obama keep on slipping, that step will become even shorter.
Back to the hypocrisy, I still remember the ruckus made by the Left and organizations like the ACLU about the wiretapping of suspicious phone lines authorized by the Patriot Act just after the attacks of September 11. Accusations and falsehoods started flying against the Bush administration that Bush was listening to grandma’s phone calls and stupid statements like it. The Liberal nutcases went ballistic on the notion that the government was intruding in our lives, our privacy, conveniently ignoring the fact that the wiretapping was only done on international phone lines that could be connected to potential terrorist entities. What would have the ACLU said if Bush would have advertised a web link for people to report suspicious terrorist activities? Would have they just be silent as they are today about Obama snitch link? I leave it to you to ponder and reach an answer.
Ultimately, it is up to the American people to decide the direction our country is headed for.
Many, unfortunately, are still inebriated by the historical significance of the election of a black President, indicating that racism in America is still alive and well. These people are willing to ignore the damage this man is doing to our country because he is black. That’s racism in my book. And many of them are more interested in getting as much for free instead of working for it.
Fortunately, there is many more that are not pleased with the direction the country is on. Their ranks are filled with people of every race and religion, gender and political affiliation. These are people who feel it is more important to safeguard the principles of Liberty in our country above any political leaning and Party allegiance. And, as one woman stated to Sen. Specter during a meeting, the Socialist Liberal Left has awaken a sleeping giant: the silent majority of America, who is not going to be silent no more.
And these are my thoughts!
Frank “Semperpapa”
Turning My Stomach
13 August 2009
For the last eight years, one of my main gripes with the MSM was their handling of the information they presented to the American people regarding our efforts in Afghanistan, Iraq and the whole War on Terror. I can remember the Leftist knuckle draggers from CNN and NBC, the treasonous articles from the NY Times and the LA Times and Washington Post. I still remember the outrage demonstrated by certain press organizations that are more leaning toward conservative ideology. They would make the Left disregard for the American troops known to all, demonstrating how the Left was so deranged against Bush that one could actually see their salivation as they used the sacrifice our Military was doing as a mean to attack the President.
I can still remember the just indignation expressed by radio talk show hosts and countless other sources that demonstrated their justifiable disgust at the blatant use of the men and women in uniform to push forward their Bush derangement agenda, and I remember just as vividly the rage that pervaded me every time I witnessed such behavior, further solidifying my distrust and rejection of the MSM.
But today the same feeling of disgust, the same feeling of revolt is grabbing the pit of my stomach. There is a certain suspicion growing inside me that I find extremely disturbing. It is my opinion that since Obama has become President and his concentration has shifted toward the war in Afghanistan, I feel that some of those conservative news outlets that were so vehemently protesting the Left use of our Military and their sacrifices for their propaganda push are today basically switching roles.
Here is the fact. Last week the Wall Street Journal, which I used to consider a note worthy, trust worthy publication, published an article by Yochi Dreazen and Peter Spiegel covering an interview conducted with theater Commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal. The title of the article was the shocker: Taliban Now Winning.
In the article, the authors profusely paraphrased the General in his opinions regarding the current events going on in Afghanistan. McChrystal’s words were doctored and spun by the writers to bring the attention of the readership to the negative side of what is happening in that far away conflict. Even the Pentagon came out strongly disputing the WSJ article assertion of the General’s statements, declaring that never the officer made a statement that implied his opinion being that our efforts in Afghanistan are unsuccessful and the conditions indicative of a victorious enemy.
Since the offensive of July in the Helmand Province started, some other media outlets, like FoxNews, has been including with every insignificant piece of news from Afghanistan, about the mounting casualty rate our forces are incurring.
So what I see is the more conservative news organizations engaging in the same unproductive rhetoric that the Left engaged in for seven years. As mentioned by some conservative pundits, Afghanistan “is now Obama’s war” and they will be using this approach as an attack tool against the President.
Few people are more critical of Obama than me, as I truly consider the man as a Socialist bent on destroying our country’s values and traditions, but the Military should be off limits when it comes to political agendas between political factions.
And now my thoughts.
In the first place, using the US Military for any political reason is an ugly and immoral action. Our Military is engaged in a war where our sons and daughters are paying in blood for their service to the country. Our men and women in uniform are not serving the Left or the Right, Democrats or Republicans, but they are serving their country, America!
It is really personally enraging that now the opposite side of the political spectrum appears to utilize the same outrageous tactics used by CNN, NBC, CBS and all the others.
It is really a sad day in this country when news organizations that were so vocal in rebutting the tactics of anti-American Leftist MSM are today engaging in the same immoral actions to further their own anti-Obama political agenda.
Did they ever stop and think what an article’s title like the WSJ one would do for those actually deployed in that forsaken country? What reaction would the Soldier or Marine sitting in God-awful conditions on some base in Afghanistan would have when he or she would see a headline like “is the Taliban winning”? What effect would have on the morale of that Soldier or Marine who maybe just saw a friend get hurt or maybe die?
Did anybody at WSJ ever stop for a minute and consider these men and women morale in battle?
And did anyone at the WSJ for a moment thought about the families? Here there are thousands of family members of these Military personnel, anxiously trying to live as normal a life as possible as their every second of their existence is overwhelmed by a continuous concern for their sons, daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives?
Did anyone on the WSJ editorial board even considered the anguish that such “journalism” could cause on those families? As the WSJ is aimed at a more conservative readership, it appears to me that the editorial staff took the opportunity to “hook” the average reader with a disturbing article title, regardless of the content of the article itself. And most of all regardless of the impact that such title could have on the people who are really and personally touched by the war in Afghanistan.
I have written at length about my displeasure about the total disconnect between the Military, and their families, and the rest of the country. I have expressed my rejection of those who love to display their “war is not the answer” nonsense. And I have expressed my loathing for the MSM and politicians who for seven years have used the Military as a pawn in their war against George W. Bush. But today I have to add conservative outlets who are doing the same in their war against Obama.
One thing that is so clear is that there are very few people in America today that take the time to stop and think about the damage their actions may cause on others. Military families are most often victims of the trend of personal importance that our country has embraced. Whatever makes ME feel good, whatever advances MY agenda, whatever pushes MY point of view is regarded today as a right to be expressed, regardless of what impact such actions could cause others.
