It is apparent that the federal government is not paying attention to the will of the people. AGAIN!
It looks like, as reported by a television station in Tucson, Arizona, that the Immigration and Custom Enforcement is considering a policy that would allow illegal aliens to go free.
According to this new policy being floated in Washington, if a traffic stop is affected by law enforcement and it is found that the person stopped is illegally in the country, the officer is required to let the person go provided that there are no felony priors in the person’s record.
Isn’t this special?
So what the government is proposing comes down to a complete relaxation of the immigration laws of the land and the prevention of the application of such laws.
Soon the American people will be treated to a complete disregard of the immigration policies that are designed to safeguard the sovereignty of our Nation, basically a free-for-all approach designed to bring into the country a slur of potential voters for Obama and his thugs in the Democrat party.
And the propaganda war is just getting on the way. As the issue of illegal immigration is losing some of its front page luster, replaced by the disastrous economy, the upcoming elections and some moron willing to place our troops in greater danger by burning some stupid book, the government comes out with statistics telling us that illegal immigration is on the decline, of course all thanks to the policies of Obama. Except that by definition, illegal immigration is illegal therefore any statistical data is not necessarily verifiable.
So while the government is persecuting Arizona and Sheriff Arpajo with more vehemence than our real enemies, illegal aliens riot in the streets of Los Angeles and we surrender portions of our soil to the Mexican drug cartel.
Yup, Obama’s policies are really working, at least for his own agenda’s success.

Epitome Of Class
By Semperpapa
Or maybe not! But one thing is for sure, the chief of the AFL-CIO, a thug named Richard Trumka, is a good friend of our illustrious President, Barak Obama.
And after the un-Presidential-like speeches Obama has been gracing us in the last three or four days, one can definitely understand the closeness of the two men, who probably shared the same teacher at Etiquette School.
During a speech in praise of, hold on to your lunch, Nancy Pelosi, Trumka drove his opinion home on the work the House Speaker had “accomplished” by saying this:
“Without Nancy Pelosi, health care wouldn’t have happened, because all the guys that were sitting around the table wanted to fold their cards and go for these little itty-bitty rights. She’s the one who had the backbone to say no. We stuck together, and we got a historic victory, and she drove it down the Republicans’ throats and out their backsides.”
Well, Mr. Trumka is correct, as the Obamacare garbage was furtively pushed down the throats of the American people only to come out for the collection of feces that it really is.
Right at this moment thugs like Trumka and Stern from SEIU are enjoying their brief ride to power as it was handed out to them by the Chicago community organizer. They are basking in the light of corruption that is historically inherent to the leadership of the Unions they represent, with free access to the White House and the President and the freedom to impose their violence on those who dissent with the corroboration of a Dept. of Justice that does not want to be left out from the orgy of corruption that the government of this country has become.
On the other hand, there is one thing Mr. Trumka may not be realizing at this time and that maybe would suggest that he would tone down the enthusiasm: November 2010.
The days of Al Capone are gone. Regardless what Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod or Valerie Jarret may think, their and Obama regime of occupation is almost over and soon they will be relegated to the hashes of failed dictatorships.
The time is coming when the American people will retake the reigns of our Nation as indicated by our Constitution.

Just Another Stooge
By Semperpapa
Three people, last weekend, witnessed some essay that one of Obama’s stooges wrote on USA Today, the very last three people who actually still read that piece of alleged journalistic trash.
The stooge is Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, who wrote that jobs are out there and that is the responsibility of the American unemployed to go find them.
In the piece she is publicizing some new department web site that helps unemployed assess their skills and find jobs.
“By visiting the site – she writes - and adding information about your most recent work experience, you can see exactly what skills you need to qualify for a broad range of careers. You can also find local training and education providers and, yes — you can see local job postings.”
And she adds,
“In other words, what’s next … is up to you...there are jobs out there.”
So what is the message from this pile of elitist ignorance?
The American people do not need another web site promoting the praises of lord Obama and his failed policies. The unemployed American people know exactly what their skill levels and abilities are. What they need is not another condenscending government line of bull, but economic policies that are directed to improve the business environment and create conditions optimal for the economy to create new jobs.
The message between the lines is that the government has done its job and that the jobs are available, but that somehow the American people are too lazy to go get them.
Maybe there is a portion of the unemployed population that is just happy with the prolongation of the unemployment benefits and who are just enjoying their status, just as Nancy Pelosi suggested on several occasions.
But the majority of those who are seeing their quality of life disappear due to lack of income, the same Americans who would like nothing more than to leave their position of servitude to the government assistance and become once again responsible for their life, should be very much offended by such comments.
This is just another example of the elitism of the throngs in Washington.
Obamadroids’, and their RINO counterparts, attitudes are not much different than the French monarchy just preceding the French Revolution.

This Is Fun!
By Semperpapa
After last week dog and pony show in Washington with the “Peace Process” re-start between Israel and the Palestinian authorities, we are being treated to a fun-to-watch after show.
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who had expressed his opposition to the Washington’s talk and any talks regarding any possible settlement between the Israelis and Palestinian, had denounced once again the peace efforts made by Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas.
Ahmadinejad, who is a supporter of the terrorist organization Hamas controlling the Gaza strip, and Abbas party Fatah controlling the West Bank, are bitter rivals, so when the Iranian thug expressed his opposition to the attempted beginning of peace talks, Abbas quickly told Ahmadinejad to "Butt Out!"
Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for Abbas had this to say about,
"He who does not represent the Iranian people, who forged elections and who suppresses the Iranian people and stole the authority, is not entitled to talk about Palestine, or the President of Palestine,”
As much as it is fun to see another Arab leader trash the Iranian leader, this is all a big exercise in futility.
Palestinian authorities, on the wake of all the “good” that Yassir Arafat has done, will not take the peace talks seriously outside the effects that such activities have had on creating a strong anti-Semite environment at the United Nations.
And Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, regardless of his professed support for the cause of the Palestinian people, is obviously using Hamas to derail the talks before they even begun, as his agenda is the destruction of the state of Israel.
At least the sparring factions make for a slightly amusing story, if one chooses to disregard the innocent lives lost in that region almost on a daily basis.

Time For Another Vacation, Mr. President
By Semperpapa
After an article in the UK London’s Sunday Times, it may be time for President Obama to take another vacation and few more rounds of golf.
The British publication reports that an investigation has uncovered that there may be up to five companies in Kabul that are providing funding for the Taliban fighters, including bonuses for its militants of $1,000 for each US Soldier killed and $6,000 for each vehicle destroyed.
According to the article, the companies, who have received contracts for reconstruction projects, receive money from aids and foreign donors. They proceed to send the money to Teheran or Dubai, only to see the money come back under very loose control and be dispersed to the Taliban forces.
The mode by which the money returns to Afghanistan is so informal, according to Afghan intelligence officials, that its tracking becomes extremely difficult, allowing it to be utilized by the insurgency.
The brain behind the operation is thought to be the Al Qud elite force of the Iranian Republican Guard.
Ever since the news appeared in 2007 of Iran having its hand in the shipment of shaped charge IEDs to Iraq, IEDs that resulted in the death of many American and British soldiers, the shadow of the Teheran’s government has been looming over the combat operations of the coalition forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
That includes the annual migration of Taliban forces from Afghanistan to Iran in the Fall to replenish and regroup in view of their return to the fight for the usual Spring offensive.
Would it be out of line for the Obama administration to put some real pressure on Karzai to clean up his own government and to address this issue?
But I guess that would require the President to pay more than a cursory attention to that annoying foreign policy and pesky war, outside of his apologetic attitude and the use of few drones. Maybe, if Obama plays it right, he can demand a tax on the bonuses to be applied to his Obamacare!
Yes, it sure looks like time for another vacation.

This Alone Should Guarantee Reid's Defeat
By Semperpapa
Not too many real Americans can forget the disgusting words of Senator Harry Reid when he announced that the war in Iraq was lost.
He did so as the troop surge ordered by then President Bush was getting on its way, in a move that Sen. Reid made to attempt and impress the American people into a state of dissent against the White House, the US Military and its efforts in Iraq.
It was a pure agenda driven political move dictated by an immoral pursue of political power at the expenses of our men and women in harm’s way.
Today, history revisionism and revolting political spin is in full swing at the Reid campaign, as the despicable Reid is facing a very good chance of being defeated in the mid-term elections in November.
When questioned by the Las Vegas Review Journal about the infamous statement, the representative of Reid’s campaign answered this:
At the time Sen. Reid made this comment, President Bush had been pursuing a failed, stay-the-course strategy that had cost thousands of American lives and billions of taxpayer dollars. Iraq appeared to be on the verge of a sectarian civil war. He was simply pointing out what our military leaders, including Gen. Petraeus, had been saying for months: that we could not win by staying the course; the war needed to be won diplomatically, politically, and economically. Sen. Reid and his colleagues were successful in forcing President Bush to finally abandon his failed approach and refocus on political reconciliation. This is what ultimately paved the way for the Iraqi government to take greater responsibility for Iraq’s future.
So the statement did not really mean what it said, but it meant the opposite of what it said, or something like that. It sure is a hell of a stretch to give that statement credit for winning the war in Iraq. I wonder if the representative of Reid’s campaign who made the statement was actually keeping a straight face as the words were uttered.
Regardless of the spin and the lies of Reid and his campaign, the truth remains that the man made a treasonous statement that was aimed at politically damaging the President by using the blood and sacrifice of our Military. Only in America we can witness a political figure gain Senate Majority leadership after actively undermining the Military in time of war, basically getting a promotion instead of a well deserved rope around the neck.
This type of revisionism is nothing less than appalling, a real insult to the intelligence of the people of the state of Nevada and of all Americans, and should be in itself a very good reason to insure that Harry Reid is prevented from further soil the halls of our United States Senate.

Sgt. Michael P. Scusa
By Semperpapa
I have received a request for friendship on my Facebook page from a woman in Philadelphia. The picture on the request showed a man in Army uniform, so I was immediately inclined to accept the request, but I checked it out.
The request was from a Gold Star Mom, Cynthia Woodard, whose son, Army Sgt. Michael P. Scusa, was killed in Afghanistan on 3 October, 2009.
Michael would have turned 23 on October 5th, which was the day he made his final homecoming.
Michael was one of eight soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division who were killed on that day at a place called COP (Combat Outpost) Keating, when over 300 insurgents attacked the small base.
Also killed that day were:
SSG Justin T. Gallegos
SGT Christopher T. Griffin
SGT Joshua M. Hardt
SGT Joshua J. Kirk
SSG Vernon W. Martin
SPC Stephan L. Mace
SPC Kevin C. Thomson
I have exchanged couple of messages with this coragious mom, who is sharing the greatest pain of her life with so many others across our country, asking about Michael and is clear to me that Michael was a special person, and through his life as a son, a husband, a father, a brother he will remain a special person in the momories his loved ones will carry for ever.
But Michael is also the symbol of what is great about our country, the symbol of the sacrifices that our Military has for over two centuries and still today makes for the maintenance of our great Nation.
Michael had spent 15 months in Iraq, coming home to the joy of he and his wife having a son, whom Michael named Connor Allen in honor of one of his friends who had not made it back from Iraq.
He subsequently deployed to Afghanistan in May 2009.
Cynthia also communicated with me some of the tributes to this American Hero and some details she just found out. In her own words:
“They have had 3 articles on Michael in the Philly paper, the high school he went to planted a tree in front of it with his name. The year book for 2010 has a two page in memory of Michael. And Fort Carson has their names on the GWOT Wall. I have pictures of it all. He just got another award, something about Valor, waiting for the report/certicate from that. They said he took two trips to get ammo and ran over 100 yards, he knew there were snipers but he didn't care. He was hit outside the ammo building when he went back for more. I had just found this out last night.”
On 7 October 2009 I wrote a post on my web site that was inspired by the events of October 3rd at COP Keating. The piece was called “The New Greatest Generation” because after reading some of the reports on the events of that day, it was the only possible way to address these heroes. This is part of what I wrote:
According to a report from an ABC journalist, who accompanied the Medevac helos into the battle, when the chopper was loaded with wounded and ready to lift, the Medevac crew was told that only three wounded were leaving: one American and two Afghan soldiers. The Medics told that the other wounded were refusing evacuation in order to remain with their buddies in the fight, which lasted about 12 hours.
Moreover, the Medics reported to the Medevac crew that soldiers were donating blood in the thick of the battle, to be transfused into their wounded friends, all, again, while the battle enraged around them.
I was completely awestruck by the heroism and devotion of these men.
At that time, my family and I were counting down the days prior to my Marine son deploying to Afghanistan and the news of the attack against COP Keating and the casualty rate was truly horrific.
Today I have a fragile line of communication with one of the family members of one of those Heroes and I hope that my words may be enough to express my deepest condolences and appreciation for what Michael and all his brothers and sisters have done for the safety and security of our Nation.
The American people must realize that the price our Nation is paying for our safety and security is enormous. As the father of a US Marine who just returned from a deployment in Afghanistan, and as an American, I feel a duty to tell about Heroes like Michael and his brothers and sisters who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country. And I feel the duty to remind all who listen, that their sacrifice has left a painful void in the lives of those who loved them, but also in the very fiber of the United States.
We must never forget the true cost of our freedom.
We must never shy away from standing next to Cynthia and all Gold Star Moms and Dads and Wives and Children.
Thank you Michael, the Lord must have needed another Angel at his side.
