A Good Crisis Not To Be Wasted

19 October 2009

Never let a good crisis go to waste. These were the words of WH Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel referring to the ability of using a crisis to push a political agenda.
And faithful to that concept, Mr. Emanuel demonstrated on CNN on Sunday that the Obama administration is following the same train of thought.

What is the crisis? The debacle of the last Afghani elections, marred by fraud and corruption (wonder where ACORN was), and what the Kabul government will do about it.
What the crisis affords the occupant of the White House is the ability of using a new convenient excuse to delay making a decision regarding the Military policy in Afghanistan.
Certainly Mr. Emanuel is a master at spinning, but the election problems in Afghanistan proved to be too good of an opportunity for his boss to remain and justify total inaction regarding our troops.
As usual, the American Military is used for political purposes and this is an attitude that really sickens the American people.

Mr. President, stop the bullshit and make a decision: either give Gen. McChrystal what he asks or take the troops home and we will deal with the consequences, hopefully once the Liberal traitors are thrown out of Congress in 2010 and you are escorted out of the White House in 2012.

And these are my thoughts!
