Hurray For China

By Semperpapa

This is another demonstration of two major facts in Washington:

One: the inhabitants of that city live in a parallel universe;
Two: here is another consequence of the major mistake America made in putting such an extreme radical in the White House.

I have written recently about an episode of Chinese greatness in the application of the one child policy. It is also well known that there are many individuals who are actively doing the political bidding for the Obama regime, who have openly praised the Chinese government model as opposed to that of the United States.

Well, not to be undone, another of the Obama stooges has come out in praise of the Chinese totalitarianism.

This time is none other than the Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood.
Yes, my friends, an appointed member of the Obama cabinet has made some statements during an interview with The Cable during some festival of ideas in Aspen, Colorado.
Here is part of his statement:

“The Chinese are more successful [in building infrastructure] because in their country, only three people make the decision. In our country, 3,000 people do, 3 million. In a country where only three people make the decision, they can decide where to put their rail line, get the money, and do it. We don’t do it that way in America.”

Adding:

“Two years ago, between 50 to 60 Republicans were elected to the House of Representatives to come to Washington to do nothing, and that’s what they’ve done and they’ve stopped any progress. Those people don’t have any vision about what the government can do. That’s been a real inhibitor in our ability to think outside the box and think big,”

Now, some of you will welcome the words of LaHood as the true essence of progressive thinking. After all, what would be more progressive than the elimination of cars and the need to drive? What would be more progressive than eliminating the necessity for commuting and owning of a vehicle?

Stalin accomplished a lot of that during the Industrial Revolution when he forced millions of Russians to abandon their farmland and move into the crowded urban centers to be available labor for his factories. Those who refused, perished by the hands of the State or by starvation.

So, what is really Mr. LaHood saying? Very simply put, for the realization of the agenda of the progressive Transportation Secretary, and inherently of his king Obama, the fact that the United States still has some resemblance of democracy is a hindrance to progress.
Yes, my friends, the mere possibility that We the People may have a say so in the spending of billion of dollars we DO NOT HAVE on projects We the People DO NOT WANT is really a sad sign that the progress of the Obama authoritarian agenda is not free to take place.

The exaltation of the Chinese infrastructures by LaHood is actually amazing. Just four years ago, when the Olympic Games were held in Beijing, the Chinese authorities were faced by the lack of water availability for the Olympic village, due to the poor infrastructures in place.
So the Chinese authorities solved the problem in true democratic fashion: they forced water that would be going to thousands of rural farms outside the Chinese capital to be re-routed to the Olympic village. It must have been the three people LaHood is so hot about to decide that the lives of thousands of farmers was merely justifiable collateral damage for the false image of the State. Thousands of farmers lost their crops and their livelihood and starved to death.

Well, hurray for China!

We the People are faced today by the same problem. Here in California, Gov. Brown is adamant in the realization of the bullet train between Los Angeles and San Francisco, a project that is not only unnecessary, but a project the state cannot afford. And for whatever is worth, the people do not want.

On a more general line, it becomes increasingly necessary that We the People make our voices heard next November. Romney may not be the first of my choices, but it is absolutely imperative that the Obama regime is sent to the hash heap of Socialist regimes.
LaHood is an appointed bureaucrat of Obama and, for my personal analysis, his agenda is that of Obama.
Ultimately abolishing the Constitution and centralize power in the Executive branch is the only true design of this group of radicals. This regime has infected the executive and judicial branch. In 2010 we demonstrated that we were not happy with Congress.
In 2012, we must insure the power is removed from any of those who want the open destruction of the American way, regardless of their party affiliation.

It’s time for revolution.
Just my thoughts!
