As expected, at least by me, Attorney General Eric Holder has designated a special prosecutor to investigate the actions taken by some CIA investigators following the 9-11-01 attacks. These investigators allegedly conducted some interrogations, called Enhanced Interrogations, that the peaceniks have called “tortures”.
Against what Obama had stated earlier, AG Holder decided to actually initiate what can only be called a political witch hunt. And if anyone believes that Holder did not get the blessing from the White House on this, then stop reading this because it will fly right above your head.
The uprising Obama has faced from the American people over his socialistic take over of health care in the country, has caused the approval rating for the Cult Leader to drop and therefore it was time to create a new focus point for the ignorant masses, especially those of the Left fringe, still foaming at the mouth for Bush’s blood.

So what are the accusations making their rounds these days? Well, the barbaric actions that were committed by those who found themselves on the front lines of defending the Nation consisted of staging mock executions and of threatening the captured terrorists with violence against their families.
Allegedly, and by the way these accusation were refuted by CIA operatives, the interrogations included telling the terrorist that one of his buddy was going to be killed if he did not give information. Khalid Sheik Mohammed was allegedly threatened with the execution of his children and with the rape of his mother in his presence.
Moreover, these terrible Americans flashed electric drills and waved guns in a menacing way, again all allegedly.
Of course, even if these events took place, no physical harm had come to these terrorists.

Ok, so lets assume that these actions took place. My answer is: So What!?
Can anyone say that the application of threats is actually consider a torture? And especially when it is known that the information gathered with such techniques prevented more terrorist acts and was instrumental in the apprehension of countless al-Qaeda operatives?
Are you kidding me? Are really there alleged human beings who believe that the barbarians who behead people heads off on video will be deterred from doing so because America prosecutes somebody for waving an electric drill? Are you for real?
Just following the attacks of 9-11, everyone in the world, let alone the US, was absolutely sure that another attack was going to take place against American interests. Nobody had any doubt that if was only a matter of time for new attacks to occur. And yet, eight years later and with a new President, our country has escaped any further tragedy on our soil. This has not been a fortuity, but the result of the tireless work that our intelligence services did, even though they had to regroup after being emasculated by previous administrations, that our Military did and the determination of President Bush.

So what is the current Administration doing today via the corrupted Attorney General office?
Well it appears to me that there are several reasons behind these actions.
In the first place, it is a way for Obama and cronies wants to distract the American people. Obama is licking his wounds these days as he has been bloodied by the common American, regardless if he calls them right wing extremists or mobs or whatever else. This is a deliberate attempt to shift the focus of America away from the Obamacare debacle, which he and Pelosi and Reid will try to sneak in later in the year.

Secondly, Obama is not getting much traction with the numbskulls university students that supported him so overwhelmingly in November. He had hoped that this portion of followers would go to bat for him on health care, but these brainwashed idiots are just not too interested in facing off with American seniors and middle aged people, who are most affected by the debate. So the way to reinvigorate these pot smoking mongrels is to go back and attack Bush. Attacking Bush never fails. Next best thing would be Sarah Palin.

Thirdly, it is just the next move in reducing the ability of the Intelligence community to do their job. It is only logical that those who are still on the front line of the covert war against the enemies of the country will be reluctant to apply techniques of interrogation that have been successful in the past if the future they are staring at shows them being prosecuted for doing their jobs.

I still remain of the opinion that Obama is utilizing his cover of wanting to be fair and balanced with our enemies to weaken the defenses of our country. It is hard for me to believe that a US President would want the country to be attacked, but the doctrine that Obama is championing may require the sacrifice of some meaningless citizens. Just as Rahm Emanuel stated “you don’t want a crisis to go to waste”. A new terror attack against our Nation, especially in these dire economic times, would give Obama the perfect opportunity to suspend the Constitution and self-appoint dictator. And, believe me, I deeply hope I am over blowing the issue!

We still have a champion of American values in Dick Cheney and he is sounding the alarm about the actions of AG Holder, the actions of Obama and the dismantling of American intelligence procedures. But is anyone listening? The American people, those who stomped Obama on the health care disaster, are listening.
