A Cozy Family Affair

By Semperpapa

It is obviously a tender moment for the State Department and the Obama administration.
Daisy Khan, the wife of Feisal Adbul Rauf, must have been feeling lonely with her lovely hubby away and roaming the Middle East looking for terror money for his “bridge” at Ground Zero, so State is sending her too on a nice vacation to meet her man (she must be in need of her daily slapping).
And you will be happy to know that the trip is funded by the Amrican taxpayers, just as her husband’s is.

This is known at State as “public diplomacy” where about 1,200 Americans every year are paid to go around the world talking about what it means to live in America. Sort of a taxpayers funded oureach-to-our-enemies program.
The only reason Obama does not do so on his own is because it would interfere with his golf game and that much bowing would not be healty for his back.

So Daisy, who considers America worst than Islamophobic, will be meeting her hubby in the UAE.
Price tag for her husband’s vacation is $16,000, while the inferior female’s vacation will only be costing you and me $12,000.

And to think that Liberals have been accused on not caring for family unity!

In a related story, the State Department is dismissing the accusations of engaging in an attempt to keep Faisal in hiding during his fund-raising vacation, as the activities of the good Imam are not being publicized. One would think that if the guy’s trip was intended to increase the understanding and dialogue between America and the Muslim countries being visited by Rauf, the message should be made available to the public, so that in the least we could see what we are getting for our money.
State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley, the man that has become the face of this administration’s apologist agenda regarding the uselessness of the current State Dept., was asked about the almost secrecy surrounding Rauf’s trip and he said,

"We have a set policy on how we approach these tours... We're not hiding him, but these are visits to groups and figures that are for the most part not available to the public."

How convenient is that? What this means is that the “bridge builder” is able to contact and communicate with the personalities in those countries who will donate money for his mosque and mayor Bloomberg’s payola, in perfect anonimity, compliments of the American taxpayers.
Just another example of the most transparent government ever.

Just my thoughts!
