The Price Of Tolerance: Honor Killing In Italy

By Semperpapa

Just another day at the office for members of the religion of peace.

Robert Spencer at Jihadwatch.com reports a despicable crime that has taken place, of all places, Italy.
A Pakistani Muslim immigrant killed his wife in the northern town of Novi, near Modena.
The motive for Ahmad Khan Butt crime has been determined to be that his wife was against the arranged marriage of the 20-year old daughter Nosheen, because the woman did not want the daughter to be forced in an unwanted nuptial as she had been.
Enraged, Ahmad threw the wife to the ground and proceeded to smash her head with a brick until she was dead, while their 19-year old son Umair was attacking and beating the sister Nosheen, who was taken to the hospital with a broken arm and cranial injuries.

The crime sparked protestation from every political spectrum in that country, from the Right and from the Left, because the rejection of such barbaric actions should not be a political issue, but a moral one.
Italian women politicians have come out in condemnation of this honor killing with strong language, in total outrage.
I do not say this too often, but that is a behavior from which American women politicians and especially feminist groups, should learn from and become vocal in their rejection of such violence against women.
But these groups and most politicians remain silent, afraid of incurring negative labeling.

But this type of crime is the result of years of politically correct uncontrolled immigration policies that the Italian government has been pursuing. And the price of unhinged tolerance is being paid in that country just as it is in ours.

There is one more commonality between our two nations. Just as we would expect form someone like Rep. Keith Ellison of Michigan, a Muslim congressman and member of CAIR, one of the Italian Parliament lawmakers, a Moroccan of origin, Souad Sbai, on one hand condemned the barbaric act, but blamed on the failure of Italian society to integrate the Pakistani murderer and his son.
Just another demonstration of the global agenda that the Islamic radicals follow: appeal to the sense of tolerance of politically correct societies to advance their medieval practice of Shariah law.

In 2008 in Texas, Amina, 18, and Sarah Said, 17, were killed by their father Yaser Abdel Said, for being “too Westernized”. The man is being sought by authorities for capital murder, but has since disappeared with the help of his family, most likely in his native Jordan.
Acts like these, which should spark crusading pursuit on the part of American feminist groups, remain instead obscure, as they do not relate to the feminist only interest: abortion.

And this is the price of unhinged tolerance.

Just my thoughts!
