One Down, Two Thousands More To Go

Good first step on the part of the upcoming Republican Majority in the House.

House Speaker John Boehner has decided to scrap the Select Committee on Global Warming.

The committee had been a pet project of Nancy Pelosi and it had been a forum for the advancement of economy-killing provisions directed at the advancement of Cap and Trade.

Pelosi had used the committee to impose the liberal agenda aimed at destroying the energy industry of the United States, even after the theory of Global Warming, or Climate Change as it was renamed when the temperatures across the globe did not rise as predicted, became known as one of the biggest hoaxes mankind had ever seen.

So this is a good first step, as the Republicans kill one useless committee. And while they are on a roll, they should continue to kill the others too.

In other news, Nevada senator Harry Reid is pushing four separate versions of the DREAM Act, bypassing any hearing on them. This move has many GOP Senators very upset, as the cadaverous Reid is obviously attempting to bring the legislations to a vote as he tries to get at least one hastily passed during the lame duck session.

It was to be expected that the liberals would attempt to scam the American people with some of their horrible legislation before the end of the 111^th Congress, considering the beating they received in the mid-term elections. I have contended that national watchdogs would keep their eyes and hears open since November 2^nd for such behavior on the part of the fascist regime in charge.

Looks like at least someone is actually paying attention to the shenanigans the Democrats are trying to pull on our country.
