Liberal Opportunism Worst Than I Expected

The level of progressive opportunism is reaching levels that even my worst fears could not predict. On the wake of the tragedy in Tucson, the worst scum is coming out of the rocks they thrive under and spewing their venom.

Sheriff of Pima Country, Clarence W. Dupnik, accused the vitriol on the Right for the violence, admonishing that “free speech has its consequences”. Wow, I am sure the citizens of Pima County must feel really secure with a Sheriff that does not support the Constitution. I wonder if Mr. Dipnik is looking for an appointment in the Obama administration.

New York Representative Carolyn McCarthy, a liberal and a staunch opponent of the Second Amendment, is rushing to take the opportunity of the tragedy to introduce some more gun control legislation, as soon as Monday.

US Sen. Dick Durbin is using the Arizona shooting to call for the silencing of Conservative dissent.

The Dick had no problem with vicious verbal attacks against our Military in the aftermath of the Abu Grahib scandal. His statements, and those of that other American champion Ted Kennedy, could have possibly cost additional American casualties in Iraq. But that was “good” free speech!

Arizona State Representative, Linda Lopez, by all accounts as left/progressive wing as one could get, qualified the shooter as an Afghan War Veteran. She did so during an interview with Shepard Smith of Fox News, even before the investigation was on the way. Considering that the scumbag was NEVER in the Army, let alone in Afghanistan, should the moron apologize for her mistaken conclusion?

Paul Krugman of the NY Times blames Republicans for the massacre.

Rep. James Clyburn blames Sharron Angle for the massacre.

And the NOW (National Organization for Women) blames Conservatives for their constant opposition to progressive solutions.

This one actually makes almost sense, in a contorted and demented way. The shooter is an anarchist, fan of Adolf Hitler and Karl Marx (his favorite books are Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto), practically a Left Wing extremist nutcase. So there may be some sense in the fact that the Conservative successes of the last elections and the increase in Conservative leaning for the country could have finally pushed the scumbag over the edge.

But the top prize in disgust comes from one of my absolute favorite enemies of America: Hanoi Jane Fonda.

Following the shooting, Hanoi Jane twitted:

Progressive Arizona Rep Gabrielle Giffords is shot. In her ads, Sarah Palin had her targeted in a gun site. Inciting to violence.

Followed by another:

Glen Beck guilty too. Shame. It must stop!

In the first place, I would like to know who is responsible for leaving the prison door open and let this piece of garbage out.

Then I was reminded of the fact that this treasonous bitch, with the blood of American Servicemen on her hands, never spent one minute in the prison she should have spent the rest of her miserable existence.

But today she can actually see a glimpse of her “glorious” past returning, as the forces of the progressive left are gearing up to create civil unrest in our country. Just as she and her riff raff comrades did in the 1960s and 70s. Except that this time, to her delight, there is a President in the White House who shares her ideology.

She must be feeling nostalgic, as she roams the halls of her proletarian mansion, where ever the hell she lives.

The reaction to the tragedy in Arizona is the worst that I could have ever imagined. The media is falling all over itself to bring up details and issues that have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that a deranged man with a documented past of failures and bad behavior, yesterday took the final step toward the delusion of his own psyche.

I do not recall the liberal media and the political prostitutes in Washington rushing to every open microphone following the Hasan massacre at Ft. Hood. I do not recall any of the bastards that have been parading on the television screens in the last 18 hours, addressing the radical Islamic component of that attack. As a matter of fact I instead remember the call, on the part of many, to avoid rushing to judgment.

And even as the pieces were all coming together, they suddenly became MIAs.

Finally, I can safely say that the little respect I had for very few on the Left has been cleanly wiped out. The very little respect I had for some in the media has also vanished. And the loathing I have for many of these people has been once again reaffirmed.
