Give It Back To The Military

31 January 2010

The appearance of retreat is in the air as the Obama regime is backing up from holding the trial of the 9-11-01 attacks masterminds in New York. The only problem is that Eric Holder is not backing down from having the terrorists tried in federal court, instead of giving the scum back to the Military and let them do their jobs. A quick trial and conviction and execution. Case closed…next?

But the pro-Islam gang in Washington appears to remain stubbornly dedicated to have civilian judicial rights afforded to people who do not deserve it, regardless of the consequences the country is going to suffer. After months of support, even the wishy-washy mayor of New York Bloomberg, came out against Holder’s idea, citing the disruption and cost the trial would have upon the people of the Big Apple.
And he should know as he is right now dealing with the trial of Jihadi scientist Aafia Siddiqui arrested for trying to kill American troops. The trial is being currently held in New York and it has become a total disaster as the MIT graduate has made a spectacle of herself with her outburst of verbal attacks against America, the Jews and our Military.
The only reason this circus of a trial is not getting that much publicity, to the dismay of the enemies of America, is because the MSM is protecting Obama and Holder. But the debacle Siddiqui’s trial has become would only be multiplied exponentially in the case of a trial of Sheik Mohamed.

So what are we Americans to do now? Simply put, using an old adage, hit the iron when it’s hot! The American people are to increase the pressure on the politicians to speak up against transferring the trial to any other federal court and instead returning the jurisdiction back to the Military.
As much as I agree that the financial burden such a trial would bring upon any chosen alternative venue is important, it pales in comparison to the damage it would represent for the security of the country. Because of the criminal law approach, lawyers for the defense are entitled to have access to almost every information regarding the case, which means that the lawyers for KSM would gain knowledge of intelligence info that would be detrimental to the any future work in defense against terrorism, which in turn would translate in an increase in vulnerability for the people of the United States as terrorist would definitely gain access to the same information.

Moreover, even if TV cameras are not allowed in federal court, the trial would be public and every detail of it would become known, augmenting the knowledge of our enemies, and allowing them to use our judicial system against our own country. What better platform for Jihad could our enemies have than news reports of the proceedings? And surely any kind of outburst from KSM would make the front page of every news outlet in the world, especially if it was an open attempt to put America on trial which is the real goal of the Administration.

So pressure on politicians needs to be increased and letters and e-mails and town hall meetings and demonstrations must occur to make sure that the people in Washington understand that the common American patriot will not just roll over and pretend that all is well when they decide to play politics with the safety and security of our country. Our Military is bleeding and dieing overseas to protect our country and it would be a gigantic travesty if their efforts would be undermined by irresponsible actions taken on our soil.

And one more thing: the ACLU is all in favor of the trials remaining in federal court. Such being the case, just this detail should be enough to oppose them.

And these are my thoughts!
