A New Dawn

20 January 2010

America is waking up this morning to a New Dawn, one of real hope for the revival of the American ideals and principles that have made our Nation the spoken and unspoken envy of the world.
Scott Brown won handily the elections for the Massachusetts Senate seat, a victory that terminated the hegemony of the Kennedy clan over at least one of the state's senatorial seats.

The new ray of hope is represented not just by Mr. Brown's victory in itself, as he will have to demonstrate worthy of the trust the people of Massachusetts gave him, but by the mere fact that it showed a reality that the current Oligarchy in Washington has chosen to ignore for years. The people of this great country are not going to just sit back and allow a despotic government to slowly destroy what our country represents.

The victory of a Conservative in a very Blue state also demonstrate that the scourge of partisanship does not trample the American spirit of independence. Liberals and Conservatives alike voted for Brown to send a clear message to the Politicians that they have to listen to the people, that We The People do not much appreciate the elitism they have demonstrated towards us, that having been elected does not mean a free pass to the Ivory Tower from which they can control our lives by ignoring us.

It is a new dawn in America. The New American Revolution has begun. And I join the multitude of patriot Americans in wishing Mr. Brown the best of luck in his new endeavor.

Sen. Brown, go to Washington and do the business of the people, for Massachusetts and for America.

And these are my thoughts!
