There is one curious aspect of President Obama I have noticed that sets him apart from all his Oval Office predecessors. It has been customary for every President to use the collective "we" when indicating anything related to the individual President. The collective pronoun was used to indicate that the governing of the country is done by not just one person, but by the President and the Administration.
As much as the ultimate responsibility in the decision making remains with the individual occupying the White House, the President never used to accentuate himself in the first person.
President Obama appear to want to change such a tradition by always speaking in first person. In the last speech in Ohio, there was a hell of a lot of "Me" "Myself" and "I" going on, indicating that either Obama wants to plainly ignore a protocol that is typical of the Presidency, or he is just a narcisist of the first grade.
"I will do this and I will do that"; "This or that won't be done to Me" and on and on.
And just today, Mr. Obama stated that 2010 will not be like 1994, referring to the Congressional takeover that the Republicans did on that year's mid-term elections, because the difference between 1994 and 2010 mid-term elections is HIM.
What a megalomaniac! Isn't it interesting that Obama has gone around the world telling allies and enemies alike that America was arrogant, when his attitude reflect a level of personal arrogance that is truly disgusting?
Well, November is only 10 months away and Obama arrogance, which appears to rub off on many other members of his administration and other Liberals in Congress, will hopefully be redimensioned when the rest of the New American Revolution will materialize.
It is my hope that the American people will open their eyes and, just like the people of Massachusetts did last week, decide to send a message to Obama and Congress that can resonate loud and clear: you better do the business of the people that elect you, or you will be fired.
In the meantime, I will just continue to enjoy watching the Liberal Progressives running around with their hair on fire.
And November is not coming fast enough.
And these are my thoughts!
