By now I hope all have heard about the monumental change that may be shaping up in Massachusetts as the special elections for the US Senate to replace the late Teddy Kennedy are drawing close.
What was supposed to be an unopposed shoe in for the position, may actually not be so as Martha Coakley, the ultra liberal who had been selected by the Kennedy clan for the position, may actually get a run for her ACORN money via Republican Scott Brown.
January 11 saw a debate between the two contenders during which Mr. Brown score some serious points, including the statement that the state senatorial seat belongs to the people of the state and not to Teddy Kennedy…what a concept!
But the point that in my book completely disqualifies Ms. Coakley was actually uttered by the woman herself. On the subject of Afghanistan she made this statement:
“I think we have done what we are going to be able to do in Afghanistan. I think that we should plan an exit strategy. Yes. I’m not sure there is a way to succeed. If the goal was and the mission in Afghanistan was to go in because we believed that the Taliban was giving harbor to terrorists. We supported that. I supported that. They’re gone. They’re not there anymore.”
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, according to this brilliant Liberal, there are no more terrorists in Afghanistan, which come as a major revelation to me, considering that SOMEONE just killed three US Troops in the last 48 hours, considering that SOMEONE killed eight CIA operatives last week, considering that some of our troops are in daily firefights with SOMEONE in Afghanistan!
So the big question for this woman would be, who the hell do you think is doing the killing? Who do you think is killing Afghan civilians? Oh wait a minute, George Soros is going to come to her help getting Oliver Stone or Michael Moore to make one of those “true” documentaries that this is also Bush’s fault.
If the country can count on a little bit of luck, there will be enough people in Massachusetts next week elections sober enough to hand a swift defeat to Ms. Coakley. Not that there is any concern about Martha’s future as with such an in depth misunderstanding of the terrorist situation, she has a definite future in the Obama administration, maybe sitting on the lap of Janet Napolitano.
Martha Coakley will surely be tapped in her vast knowledge of terrorism matters, in capacity that will guarantee the ultimate demise of the efforts our Military has paid in blood and our treasury in taxpayers’ money.
My wishes are that the Massachusetts elections will be only the first salvo in the war against the Fascist takeover of America. With hard work and a little luck, Scott Brown will win, paving the way for the November defeat of at least Boxer, Reid and Nelson. Such development would break the 60 vote Senate stronghold that Liberals have on America, and Obama would de facto become a neutralized entity, which would give real Conservatives time to lay the foundations for a true Conservative, Republican victory in 2012.
And these are my thoughts!
