Give It Back To The Military

31 January 2010

The appearance of retreat is in the air as the Obama regime is backing up from holding the trial of the 9-11-01 attacks masterminds in New York. The only problem is that Eric Holder is not backing down from having the terrorists tried in federal court, instead of giving the scum back to the Military and let them do their jobs. A quick trial and conviction and execution. Case closed…next?

But the pro-Islam gang in Washington appears to remain stubbornly dedicated to have civilian judicial rights afforded to people who do not deserve it, regardless of the consequences the country is going to suffer. After months of support, even the wishy-washy mayor of New York Bloomberg, came out against Holder’s idea, citing the disruption and cost the trial would have upon the people of the Big Apple.
And he should know as he is right now dealing with the trial of Jihadi scientist Aafia Siddiqui arrested for trying to kill American troops. The trial is being currently held in New York and it has become a total disaster as the MIT graduate has made a spectacle of herself with her outburst of verbal attacks against America, the Jews and our Military.
The only reason this circus of a trial is not getting that much publicity, to the dismay of the enemies of America, is because the MSM is protecting Obama and Holder. But the debacle Siddiqui’s trial has become would only be multiplied exponentially in the case of a trial of Sheik Mohamed.

So what are we Americans to do now? Simply put, using an old adage, hit the iron when it’s hot! The American people are to increase the pressure on the politicians to speak up against transferring the trial to any other federal court and instead returning the jurisdiction back to the Military.
As much as I agree that the financial burden such a trial would bring upon any chosen alternative venue is important, it pales in comparison to the damage it would represent for the security of the country. Because of the criminal law approach, lawyers for the defense are entitled to have access to almost every information regarding the case, which means that the lawyers for KSM would gain knowledge of intelligence info that would be detrimental to the any future work in defense against terrorism, which in turn would translate in an increase in vulnerability for the people of the United States as terrorist would definitely gain access to the same information.

Moreover, even if TV cameras are not allowed in federal court, the trial would be public and every detail of it would become known, augmenting the knowledge of our enemies, and allowing them to use our judicial system against our own country. What better platform for Jihad could our enemies have than news reports of the proceedings? And surely any kind of outburst from KSM would make the front page of every news outlet in the world, especially if it was an open attempt to put America on trial which is the real goal of the Administration.

So pressure on politicians needs to be increased and letters and e-mails and town hall meetings and demonstrations must occur to make sure that the people in Washington understand that the common American patriot will not just roll over and pretend that all is well when they decide to play politics with the safety and security of our country. Our Military is bleeding and dieing overseas to protect our country and it would be a gigantic travesty if their efforts would be undermined by irresponsible actions taken on our soil.

And one more thing: the ACLU is all in favor of the trials remaining in federal court. Such being the case, just this detail should be enough to oppose them.

And these are my thoughts!

One More Lie From Obama

30 January 2010

Quote from Obama State of the Union address:

“That's why we stand with the girl who yearns to go to school in Afghanistan, why we support the human rights of the women marching through the streets of Iran, why we advocate for the young man denied a job by corruption in Guinea, for America must always stand on the side of freedom and human dignity, always”.

I am surprised by the total disregard for this incredible lie told by Obama. Everyone in America can remember, I am sure, the total dismissal of the calls for official support for the freedom movement in Iran following the rigged elections in that country.
As people were murdered in the streets of Iranian cities, the Obama administration decided it was more fitting their agenda to not express forcefully their outrage for the carnage taking place.
It took a lot of flak for the President to express a timid sign of rejection for the oppressive crackdown the theocracy of Iran was conducting, just another Obama virtual bowing to Islam and its agenda.

And yet he had the nerves to actually address the issue in his state of the union address by mentioning the “support” he had given to the Iranian women demonstrating in the streets of the Iranian capital. Are we kidding?

And nobody had the courage to express any contempt for such a blatant lie.
People across the world have historically looked at the United States as a beacon of freedom, as a nation that as a whole would stand up and reject dictatorial abuse. But in the current political environment of Washington and especially the White House, it is the Islamic thugs across the Middle East who have found a valuable ally.

As I pointed out in my blog “Friends of Tyranny” back in July 2009, Obama and his minions remained silent as the images of the freedom-seeking Iranian people being mercilessly slaughtered in the streets by governmental paramilitary forces, not too different than the OFA units Obama has authorized funding for here in the States.

Amazingly enough, I saw no mention of the “discrepancy” in Obama’s words in the Media. I understand that there was a multitude of “discrepancies” in the speech, but this one was sort of a big one in my humble opinion. The images of the young woman, Neda, bleeding in the streets of Iran, images of women being cornered and beaten furiously by uniformed thugs, who by the way looked a lot like the Black Panthers at the Philadelphia voting poll in November intimidating voters, remain fresh in my mind. Surely the Liberals in Washington, from Obama on down, wished the scenes were from one of Tea Party demonstrations.

Obama is who he is, and as he denied attending the National Day of Prayer in Washington, he made sure to attend the Muslim prayer in the same city few days later.

We Americans have a “slight” problem on our hands: we have an ideological enemy bent on destroying us who has infiltrated deeply into our society for decades now. An enemy whose greatest ability is to have patience and, just like a cancer, consume the body exploiting America’s greatest weakness, the lack of patience.
And we have a President who is obviously sympathetic to their cause. Islamic Fascism!

If anyone believes that it is a coincidence that there are so many Middle East professors in the university system in America you are gravely mistaken. And the result is that there are so many young Americans coming out of the system with a profound hate for our Nation and everything she represents. The erosion of America values is happening right now, right in front of our eyes and all in the name of multi-culturalism.

Personally I could not care less about the religion of others. I truly believe in the constitutional right of worshiping whatever deity one chooses, so you can spare me the label of islamophobia. I am not afraid of Islam, but I am afraid of a President who acts as a facilitator for an ideology that is contrary to the ideals and principles of my country. But most of all I am afraid of the Political Correctness induced apathy and ignorance that the American people seem to be victims of.

I would say our country has a problem.

Just As I Thought...

28 January 2010

…I found myself watching the State of the Union address from Obama last night. I did not watch the whole thing as mercifully I missed half of it as I was making my way home from work.

In many cases, when Obama speaks, I rather check out the transcripts of what he says, as I considered his approach to public speaking to be offensive in its arrogance. Obama appears to be talking from a self-assured position of superiority that is definitely not appreciated. But I digress.

But I was drawn to actually watch the end of the speech, drawn by a dual sense of anger and amusement at the spectacle put out by the multitude of imbeciles assembled in that chamber.
With the exception of some of those from the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Marine Corps Commandant, some of the Supreme Court Justices and few of the Congress members, the rest of reminded me of a “Den of Thieves” with the Thief in Chief talking. The amusement was greatly enhanced by the jack-in-the-box Pelosi jumping up and down like a terrifying clown, trying to drag the ever dumb ass Biden to perform the “wave” for the One.

The visual was amusing, including Harry Reid falling asleep and Janet Napolitano taking a nap. And Justice Alito muttering the words “It’s not true” after the TiC scolded the Supreme Court for their last week decision to re-dimension McCain-Feingold campaign financing law. Where is Joe Wilson when you need him!

Even after reading most of the transcripts from the speech, I have come to the conclusion that what Obama said really does not mean much as there was nothing worth commenting on, reason being that there is nothing in his words that can actually be taken seriously by any of the American people. Everything he says is one thing today and he does something tomorrow. The whole speech, as I see it, was a campaign speech of a narcissistic megalomaniac, who, again contrary to protocol, mentioned the pronoun “I” almost 100 times in the course of a 90 minutes address.

So what did I take from Obama self-fest? Policy wise, nothing. Personally, it reinforced my belief that everything this man proposes has to be defeated for the benefit of an entire Nation.
I also realized that Obama has not learnt anything from the message the American people have sent him and his cronies via the Virginia elections, the Massachusetts elections, the New Jersey elections and the loud and clear message the American people sent last Summer at the town hall meetings.

He is going to march on with the policies that have generated so much anger and rejection on the part of the people, from Obamacare to Cap and Trade to additional stimulus money he wants to dump into an economy that is increasingly approaching meltdown. He spoke of a small business in Arizona that tripled its work force thanks to the stimulus bill already passed, but of course did not mention that the over $90 million gone to that business generated a whole 45 jobs. What a bargain!

He addressed the joblessness issue, responding to the public increased belligerence toward an increasing unemployment rate. His idea of tackling unemployment is to have the Government create jobs: green and governmental jobs.

The bulk of the speech was just a “blame it of Bush” fest, attack the Republicans fest, attack the Supreme Court fest, all well coordinated and endorsed by the multitude of Congressional Democrats who, while jumping up and down like Pelosi, are abandoning the Liberal ship like rats as they eye the November elections and the increasing prospect of being fired.

What was missing from the speech was any serious mention of the current war on terror, no mention of events like the Ft. Hood massacre or the failed Christmas bombing, no mention of Gitmo and Obama failure to close it (thankfully).
Also missing was any mention of the treatment of enemy combatants in civilian courts, as the position he and Holder have taken on that issue is unsustainable one, even for the teleprompter.

Ultimately, the speech was just another example of the lies and deceptions Obama is a master at. A lot of fancy wording, fairly well delivered (although the SOTU address was sub par for him) aimed at clouding the clear thinking of those who still support him for whatever reason. A lot of confusing arrogance that really makes no inroad with those Americans who are all too aware of the damage he is trying to bring upon our country.
There was one infuriating moment in the speech and it was when Obama mentioned how he brought the war in Iraq to an end. Besides the fact that by the time he entered the Oval Office, Bush’s policy of troop surge and of reconstruction had taken hold and was succeeding, it was not Obama, nor Bush, that brought the war to an end, but it was the imagination and resilience of the American Military that brought the war in Iraq to a victorious conclusion.
But the concept of a victory in Iraq is too much for the man to swallow. Obama taking credit for a successful campaign he and his ilk tried so hard to undermine, is insulting to all those who fought in Iraq and especially the wounded and the families of those who did not come back.

And these are my thoughts!

I Just Don't Get It

27 January 2010

Some women groups, extremist groups is the only way to describe them, are raising a lot of hell regarding a commercial ad that is scheduled to run during the Super Bowl.
According to the reports, a Christian group called Focus on the Family, has paid for the commercial ad in which Pam Tebow discusses the decision she made 22 years ago of having a child her doctors suggested she abort due to an infection she had contracted while on a Christian mission in the Philippines.
Pam decided, at the time, that she wanted to take her pregnancy to term and she had a son. Her son, Tim, grew up to become one of the best College Football players from the University of Florida, winner of the coveted 2007 Heisman Trophy.

A feminist group called Women’s Media Center, flanked by the ever present National Organization for Women, and some other more obscure groups, are creating a huge amount of noise directed to force CBS to pull the ad, justifying their agenda with the excuse that the ad would be directed to put abortion under a negative light and inspire violence against proponents of reproductive choice advocates. The feminist groups also state that the generator of the ad, the group Focus on the Family, is a divisive and intolerant group that should not be allowed to air the commercial.
Executives at CBS have seen the ad and have expressed no negative feeling about it and the message being advanced.
The humorous part of this controversy is that very few people have actually seen the ad, and definitely no one from NOW or any other feminist associations.

It so appear that the feminist groups are against any expression of support or encouragement of the family institution. They have decided the ad is detrimental to their cause without even seeing it, which is really interesting considering that it supposedly speaks of a woman that made a choice under a stressful set of circumstances. The interesting part for me is the issue of “choice” which is so loudly lamented by the feminists. Pam Tebow made a choice and took the chance making the choice for life. I would think her ability to make a choice should be celebrated and not maligned. Would they approve of the ad if she had chosen to abort her child?

Than there is the issue of Focus on the Family. This is a group I am not too familiar with, but it is a legitimate organization, concentrating mainly on the issues of family.
I am not going to talk about abortion, as it remains a personal issue and directly irrelevant to my ranting. What is bothering me of this whole thing is the fact that a group of people feel they have the right to interfere with the freedom of speech of others.
The ad was paid for and as long as the message does not incite violence of is offensive toward the majority of the population, there should be no limitation to its expression. Just because one does not agree with someone else’s words, one does not have the right in the United States, to prevent another from expressing their views.

For example, millions of Americans find the message from the Westboro Baptist Church highly offensive. I personally would like nothing more than be able to bash some heads when I see their signs thanking God for dead soldiers. But as vile and revolting their rhetoric is, regardless of the wave of rage they are able to inspire in usually mild men and women, the WBC has the Constitutionally guaranteed right to spew their venom.

I sure hope the CBS executives will not cave into the demands of these Fascist groups who, without any concrete idea of what the ad’s message is, only aspire to curb someone else’s right to express their ideas. Their goal is to stifle the freedom of expression of others for the mere reason that does not fit their agenda.
I say watch the ad and if instigating violence against abortion providers and patients is the message of it, than you raise hell. Wanting to censor someone else’s First Amendment right without knowing what you are speaking of just makes your position seem silly.

Where the hell do they get their nerves? I just don’t get it!

And these are my thoughts!

So Much Wrong With This

26 January 2010

According to an ABC News article of January 25, 2010, it appears that the CIA or the Military missed the opportunity to target and take out Anwar al Awlaki, a US citizen turned traitor for al Qaeda.
The strike against the New Mexico-born terrorist was not brought to completion due to the concerns officials had about the legal ramifications of targeting a US citizen for assassination. In other words, the order was withheld and the opportunity lost for fear of prosecution on the part of the Dept. of Justice of who would give and carry out the order.

The character in question, al Awlaki, is the same one who was in contact and spiritually advising Nidal Hasan before the Army major decided to go on a shooting jihad killing 14 people at Ft. Hood. The same one who was so prominent in the selection and training of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the panties bomber who tried to kill 300 innocent people on Christmas Day.

So, today, al Awlaki is still breathing and planning terror attacks against innocent people because of the level of distrust field officers have in the current Justice Dept.
AG Eric Holder, undoubtedly under orders of Obama himself, has demonstrated a record of standing in favor of terrorists as opposed to American citizens and Military that those supposed to make the decision of ridding the world of such piece of work did not feel confident that performing their duty would be welcomed by those in charge. Surely a morale building set of circumstances for both our Military and our intelligence community.

Also shown is the reality that there were no Jack Bauer involved in the decision making of this specific operation, that there was nobody ready to face the music for doing the right thing.

Understandably, Obama and Holder desire to prosecute CIA operatives who kept America safe since 9-11-01, the forgiveness of the New Black Panthers, bringing the masterminds of the 9-11 attacks to New York for criminal prosecution, giving the panties bomber civilian legal rights, and in general Obama and Holder disposition to favor terrorists against American innocent civilians and Military, must give those in the decision making business of doing the necessary dirty work for the safety of our Nation pause and uncomfortable feelings.

So now al Awlaki is somewhere in the wild territories of Yemen, protected by al Qaeda. Who can tell if we will have another opportunity anytime soon and what the reaction will be then.

Then there is a very disturbing last sentence of the article:

“Hundreds of FBI and other federal agents will fan out this week as part of a secret operation to pursue leads about Americans with connections to Yemen that were previously dismissed as not significant”

There is so much wrong in these few words that it makes my head hurt.
First of all, why are law enforcement officials announcing to the Media a “secret” operation aimed at potential terrorists? If it is a “secret” operation, why are we announcing it to our enemies?

“Leads…that were previously dismissed…”? How many of these “leads” were dismissed? How many fall in the same category as Maj. Hasan?
And how confident can the American people be in the actions of federal law enforcement when their actions are so controlled by an administration so sympathetic to Islamic terrorist?
Today the news reports that a man was arrested in New Jersey after he was found with an arsenal of weapons, including an RPG, maps of Military installations and other cultural facilities. Just as the FBI was so quick to declare Maj. Hasan murderous act as “non terrorist related”, the FBI is declaring that the man arrested today has not terrorist connections.
This is getting old now. From Obama on down the slope, the Military and the federal civilian apparatus in place to protect and defend the American people is being guided toward an increasingly disturbing direction, one where terrorism and hints of it are downplayed and ignored, in the attempt to sanitize the danger that we Americans are really facing. Why, you’d ask?
Because downplaying terrorism, specifically Islamic terrorism, plays in the plan of Obama to diminish, to distract America’s attention from the whole issue all together.

A major terror crisis, one of those crisis Rahm Emanuel loves so much, could open the door for Obama and his cronies to the suspension of the US Constitution. Already Obama believes that the 1st Amendment is anti-democracy, and we all know how he feels about the 2nd Amendment.

Keep your eyes open America. It looks like We the People are on our own when it comes to protecting our country.

Wisdom From Florida

25 January 2010

This was written by my patriot friend Stan in Florida:

Notes on the Margin
There were a couple of events that took Wall Street by surprise – although they should not have fallen into that “unexpected” category.
The first one was the election of Scott Brown of Massachusetts to the US Senate that in the process wiped out the Democrat Supermajority of sixty votes in the Senate that are required to enact cloture and end debate that is used to filibuster any legislative action. Until almost the last day of the campaign the result looked like a tossup, but the final result was very convincing.
This has thrown the entire healthcare legislation, crafted by the majority in secret and with practically no transparency, into the legislative ashcan. This has also potentially removed the burden of significantly increased costs and taxes on business and individuals – not to mention the adding of the gigantic deficit to be dealt with by posterity.
This change in the Senate will markedly alter the political landscape in the country. In fact, it may change or nullify the entire legislative agenda of the Administration and knock Obama off the path that he has been on “to fundamentally change this country”. It looks like the “silent majority” has finally let out a loud yell that in the months to come will reverberate in many other corners of the country.
However, soon it will become quite obvious that what happened in Massachusetts, and will spill over into the rest of the country, will have a considerable impact on the economy and the markets. It also validates the statement we made in our last Special Report that to try to predict what the market will do in six or twelve months is not only asinine, but also an exercise in futility that the various gurus and talking heads engage in at the beginning of any year.
The second thing that happened was the proposed taxation of large banks, ostensibly to repay the costs associated with the TARP. A number of these banks had TARP pushed down their throats in a closed weekend session by the former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson under some threats of retribution – even when those banks did not want and did not need that money.
Some of those banks that did accept the money have already repaid those funds with hefty interest included. Now they will be taxed to finance some of the other shenanigans that the Administration wants to engage in with the yet unused money, and whatever it would collect in taxes – like keep propping up the floundering automobile industry and subsidize the UAW benefits that the automobile industry is saddled with to the tune of one-half billion dollars a year in interest on bonds that hey were forced to give the union. Or maybe try to resurrect the currently defunct “shovel ready” jobs program.
While the promised tax on banks was the first salvo fired by the Administration, the second salvo that followed was the next step towards the control of the financial industry. It will put limits on the size of those institutions and their proprietary trading. Here the government will get deeper and deeper into the control of bank operations. When that news came out it collapsed the markets both here and overseas.
In his interview with ABC last week Obama said that his Administration would get into “a big fight with the banks”. This clearly conveyed his attitude towards Wall Street in general, and banks in particular.
Admittedly the big banks right now are not very popular with consumers and the electorate, so they lend themselves to be a very handy whipping boy for Obama – or at least to use them as an excuse for the things he has in mind. The big banks have recently disclosed very large profits from their operations, and the compensation packages for their executives have also been pretty outlandish, so it is not very surprising that they are not very popular with the folks on Main Street.
What is studiously being excluded from this discussion is that it was Congress that through the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 prohibited the banks from ‘redlining’ in their mortgage operations and mandated the issuance of loans to unqualified borrowers to enable more people to reach the “American Dream”. Fannie and Freddie threw their doors open and were backed up by the government.
It has to be understood that after the banks were forced to swallow many subprime mortgages that any self-respecting bankers would have been crazy to hang on to. So these subprime mortgages were bundled up, securitized, and sold off. In the process the banks discovered that they could make a lot of money doing that, so in 1999 they lobbied Congress to get rid of the Glass-Stiegall Act (Banking Act of 1933) that would enable their investment branches to lay their hands on the capital held by their commercial operations. Of course the Fed under the Old Maestro Greenspan did not see anything wrong with that
The skids were really greased when in 2000, pushed by the Progressives, Congress passed the American Home Ownership and Economic Opportunity Act that really opened up the floodgates. Then the greed really took over -- so while the regulators remained asleep at the switch things got out of hand. You know the rest of the story…
Except now Obama & Co. are exclusively blaming banks for what had taken place.
In the days ahead it can be expected that the administration will concentrate its attacks on the banks. First, if for no other reason than to divert the attention from the other failures of the Administration’s legislative agenda. But more importantly it has to be recognized that to accomplish Obama’s agenda to “fundamentally change the country” they will first have to control the financial industry that feeds capital to the other segments of the economy and other industries. Let’s not forget the old motto, which in simple term says, “He who has gold, rules.” And since the financial industry is where ‘gold’ is, it is not too difficult to understand why it is the major target of the White House ideologues. This in the final phases of the process, if given enough by the electorate, may lead to outright nationalization by offering the justification that “the system does not work”.
Meanwhile on Wall Street and in the media the various experts will concentrate on the minutia and the nits of the day-to-day events – failing to see the forest and the trees, for the knotholes in the trees (and never mind the forest) – unable, or unwilling, to connect the dots.
Always keep an eye on the big picture that has been clearly painted by the Big Master himself…

Stan

Thank you, Stan, for allowing me to post this.

Me, Myself and I

25 January 2010

There is one curious aspect of President Obama I have noticed that sets him apart from all his Oval Office predecessors. It has been customary for every President to use the collective "we" when indicating anything related to the individual President. The collective pronoun was used to indicate that the governing of the country is done by not just one person, but by the President and the Administration.
As much as the ultimate responsibility in the decision making remains with the individual occupying the White House, the President never used to accentuate himself in the first person.

President Obama appear to want to change such a tradition by always speaking in first person. In the last speech in Ohio, there was a hell of a lot of "Me" "Myself" and "I" going on, indicating that either Obama wants to plainly ignore a protocol that is typical of the Presidency, or he is just a narcisist of the first grade.

"I will do this and I will do that"; "This or that won't be done to Me" and on and on.
And just today, Mr. Obama stated that 2010 will not be like 1994, referring to the Congressional takeover that the Republicans did on that year's mid-term elections, because the difference between 1994 and 2010 mid-term elections is HIM.

What a megalomaniac! Isn't it interesting that Obama has gone around the world telling allies and enemies alike that America was arrogant, when his attitude reflect a level of personal arrogance that is truly disgusting?

Well, November is only 10 months away and Obama arrogance, which appears to rub off on many other members of his administration and other Liberals in Congress, will hopefully be redimensioned when the rest of the New American Revolution will materialize.
It is my hope that the American people will open their eyes and, just like the people of Massachusetts did last week, decide to send a message to Obama and Congress that can resonate loud and clear: you better do the business of the people that elect you, or you will be fired.
In the meantime, I will just continue to enjoy watching the Liberal Progressives running around with their hair on fire.

And November is not coming fast enough.

And these are my thoughts!

Taking Chance

25 January 2010

I usually have very little use for the Hollywood crowd. With few exceptions, like Gary Sinise and very, very few others, the Hollywood type phonies are really of no importance for me with the exception of occasional entertainment value.
The so called award season is in full swing, the time when the make believe champs make each other happy by awarding mostly useless praise.
But there is a piece of news from the award season that's worth sharing on this blog.
Kevin Bacon was given the Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance in a very little known movie called "Taking Chance".
Reading about this is quite amazing, as it appears that the detached Hollywood weirdos hav given recognition to Mr. Bacon for his portrayal of a US Marine Officer.
Even more amazing, Kevin Bacon a week ago was awarded the Golden Globe for the same role.

The movie Taking Chance is a must see as it is a true story and it shows the extent the United States Marine Corps goes to honor its Fallen.

And these are just my thoughts!

Just When I Thought...

22 January 2010

…I could not loathe Eric Holder more than I already do, this hits the news wire.

Maine Senator Susan Collins and Connecticut Senator Joseph Lieberman are proposing a bill in the Senate that would force DoJ officials to consult with counter terrorism officials when terrorist suspects are apprehended.
Yes you read correctly. It appears that when the Christmas underwear bomber was arrested after trying to kill almost 300 people on an airplane, he was automatically taken over by civilian authorities and charged with civilian criminal charges. It also appears that this was done without any communication made with the Director of National Intelligence, the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center and even the Secretary of Homeland Security.
Basically, Eric Holder took it upon himself to decide that this Muslim terrorist was going to be handled by civilian courts, circumventing the anti-terrorist Military apparatus that could have extracted some vital information from the guy before he lawyer up.

So the obvious procedure that Americans would assume would take place when a terrorist is captured was completely circumvented by Holder in his continuous attempt to facilitate the enemies of America.
Do not get me wrong. I know that the man is doing the bidding of Obama, but if he did not agree with the policy, he should have enough integrity to resign.
But I do not expect any kind of integrity from anyone associated with the current political leadership, and I am actually surprised that Susan Collins is part of a protest bill against the enemies of the country.

After the earthquake of Scott Brown election, I hold some hope that the bill will have a future as the Liberals in the Senate may not be as willing to go along with Obama agenda for fear of further angering the American people.

Personally, I call for Eric Holder to resign or for Obama to fire him!

And these are my thoughts!
Frank “Semperpapa”

Remember Him?

22 January 2010

His name is Abdulhakim Muhammad. He is the Muslim jihadist who on June 1, 2009 drove up to an Arkansas Army recruiting station, murdered Pvt. William Long and wounded Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula.

Well the Islamic terrorist is back in the news. It appears that Mr. Muhammad has sent a letter to the judge in the case asking to change his previous plea to guilty. This development was made public by Muhammad attorney Claiborne Ferguson.

According to Ferguson, the letter, which was sent to the judge without his prior knowledge, stated Mr. Muhammad ties with al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
Initially, the terrorist had pleaded not guilty, stating that his actions were justified jihad against the United States Military as a repercussion of America’s war against the Muslim world.

County prosecutor Larry Jegley has declared his intention to seek the death penalty for Muhammad and it is unclear what significance the latest development will have in the case.

These are my thoughts.
It appears to me that Mr. Muhammad has had a change of mind in order to maybe get a nice vacation to New York. It may have occurred to him that considering the fact that Obama and Eric Holder will give the masterminds of the 9-11-01 attacks the ability to spew their vitriol against America in a civilian Criminal Court, practically putting our Nation on trial, Mr. Muhammad may get a chance to be included in the scheme and maybe get a nice, fully taxpayer’s funded vacation to New York.

All kidding aside, it is becoming very irritating how the enemies of America are becoming increasingly bold and defiant about their nefarious intentions against our Nation, thanks to the permissive attitude the current political leadership in Washington is embracing concerning Islamic terrorism. And this is another instance where Political Correctness has cost American lives, because this character had been under “surveillance” by the FBI since his return from Yemen in 2008, and yet he was able to perpetrate his crime.

In my opinion, if he confesses to be guilty, the trial should be quick and the execution even quicker. We will see what happens.

And these are my thoughts!

Wonderful, Mr. President!

21 January 2010

The latest jobless claims data is showing an "unexpected" rise in first time unemployment filing for the last four weeks. The "unexpected" increase was of over 482,000.

So while Obama concentrates on health care reform; and Nancy gets her new plane; and congressional losers get a nice all expense paid vacation in Denmark with families courtesy of the American taxpayers, the lines at the unemloyment offices swelled up with little people who are now going to have to worry about how to pay the rent and put food on the table.

California was, of course, at the top of the list of states that lost the most jobs, and yet the government still keeps the water from flowing in the farmland of the central part of the state keeping farmland dry. And taxes and inflation steadily grow.

And across the Nation, businesses close doors because of government making it impossible to operate and total lack of consumer confidence.
And while all is happening internally, China is growing in double digits, thanks to the out-of-control spending the Dollar looses value and our enemies are getting stronger and balder.

All is wonderful, Mr. Obama. Your plan of turning the American people into a dependent entity to the charity from the government is working, slowly but surely, as it is the perception across the planet that America is increasingly vulnerable.

So when is the next vacation? How about the next White House party, Mr. President? Or should we ask the Teleprompter?

And these are my thoughts!

Cleaning The Backyard

22 January 2010

The Senatorial Special elections of 19 January was an amazing victory for the people of Massachusetts, American Conservatives and American people in general. What Senator Scott Brown accomplished in a predominantly Liberal state was really miraculous, a testimony to a well planned and passionate campaign.
Most of all it showed to politicians that they must listen to the people they elected. Ignoring us will result in a pink slip.

Aside giving the American people the hope that the disastrous legislature in Congress could be constitutionally stopped, what Scott Brown accomplished was to give Conservatives across the Nation the message that perseverance can overcome the most insurmountable odds.

Moreover, the events of Tuesday in Massachusetts have rung an alarming bell in the Liberal camps across Congress, both Democrats and Republicans.

The entire House of Representatives is up for re-election in November and Liberals across the country are now feeling the strain of uncertainty. What Brown's victory demonstrated was that the outcome of any elections is not necessarily set in stone just because the constituency has a specific political makeup.

As the US Constitution dictates, and the Founding Fathers intended to, the voice of the people will be heard and if the people are sick enough of a specific political agenda, the people will change the environment.

Gavin Newsome, the ultra-Progressive, Liberal mayor of San Francisco, expressed his concern at a breakfast in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Mr. Newsome is concerned that if the people are pushed enough by their perception of an overbearing, intrusive government, any candidate is no longer safe, including Nancy Pelosi or Barbara Boxer.

The basic point is that if the people are affected by growing unemployment, runaway spending, over-taxation, increasing intrusion in their lives by the government, bail outs, secrecy in policy making, dirty deals and so on and so on, the people may decide they had enough and make their feelings known at the voting booth.

Scott Brown's got elected because he went to the people of Massachusetts and spoke their language, he addressed their concerns and aspirations. While he was roaming around the state in his now famous pick up truck, Coakley was attending fund raises in D.C., rubbing elbow with who's who in the zoo.

Brown won the elections because he believes in smaller government and low taxes, less intrusion by the government and strong defense and victory, all concepts that the elite Left is alien to.
And the consequences of his victory are creating a predicted frenzy among the loony Left, eager to feed on itself.

This is particularly true in California, where the November elections will witness the people chance to rid the state and the Senate of the Princess of Loon, Barbara Boxer.
According to a late poll, Ma'am Boxer has a 46% approval in the state, first time below 50%. She will be facing a strong opposition in November from finally a viable candidate. Californians will have three good candidates to chose from in the Primaries: Carly Fiorina, Chuck DeVore and Campbell.
DeVore is the most Conservative of the bunch and so far my favorite, but Fiorina and Campbell are also deserving of attention. In any case, just about anyone would be better than Boxer.

There is a lot of work that needs to be done by the Conservatives in California. And we are many. We need to make sure that all the avenues of victory are covered.
But the state and national Republican Party needs to step up to the plate and help the people of California to rid the state of not only of Boxer, but of as many Liberals as possible (Waters, Waxman, Pelosi, the list is so long) so that the State can return to be an economic power, the envy of the country and stop being a welfare state.

Now it is time to benefit from Scott Brown's achievement. I hope that Fiorina, DeVore and Campbell will take a good look at the campaign the Massachusetts Senator run and apply the lesson to their own campaigns. Whatever Mr. Brown did worked!

And these are my thoughts!

A New Dawn

20 January 2010

America is waking up this morning to a New Dawn, one of real hope for the revival of the American ideals and principles that have made our Nation the spoken and unspoken envy of the world.
Scott Brown won handily the elections for the Massachusetts Senate seat, a victory that terminated the hegemony of the Kennedy clan over at least one of the state's senatorial seats.

The new ray of hope is represented not just by Mr. Brown's victory in itself, as he will have to demonstrate worthy of the trust the people of Massachusetts gave him, but by the mere fact that it showed a reality that the current Oligarchy in Washington has chosen to ignore for years. The people of this great country are not going to just sit back and allow a despotic government to slowly destroy what our country represents.

The victory of a Conservative in a very Blue state also demonstrate that the scourge of partisanship does not trample the American spirit of independence. Liberals and Conservatives alike voted for Brown to send a clear message to the Politicians that they have to listen to the people, that We The People do not much appreciate the elitism they have demonstrated towards us, that having been elected does not mean a free pass to the Ivory Tower from which they can control our lives by ignoring us.

It is a new dawn in America. The New American Revolution has begun. And I join the multitude of patriot Americans in wishing Mr. Brown the best of luck in his new endeavor.

Sen. Brown, go to Washington and do the business of the people, for Massachusetts and for America.

And these are my thoughts!

In Honor Of Rev. Martin Luther King

20 January 2010

I received this from my friend Butch. Very appropriate as we celebrated the memory of Rev. King last Monday. Definitely worth reading and pondering over. Thanks Butch!

RECENT VIRGINIA CHURCH SERVICE-STIMULUS SERMON Genesis 47:13-27
I would love to give the Pastor of this predominantly black church in Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader Perhaps we should each decide who our real leader is.....It is amazing to see that very little has changed in 4,000 years.

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into God's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our reading at verse 13, and go through verse 27. Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us?
....(reading)...
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray... So we see that economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again. So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year.. But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.." So they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain. What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters? That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master? Yes. But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained possessions! But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. We see the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders. What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of people like to call Mr. Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"? Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh. Bow with me in prayer, if you will. Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day." And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government. In God We Trust...

Indeed, my fellow American Conservatives, In God We Trust...not Obama!

Political Cannibalism

19 January 2010

Results from Massachusetts are premature, but news has already started to flow out of the state into the media cluster. Earlier today info leaked out that Liberal operatives making phone calls to voters to urge them to cast the ballot for Coakley were being summarily dismissed by the people called and told they were voting for Brown.
Polling being what it is, the actual time when the American people will be able to rejoice or not will be when the results will become officials.

While many across America are willing to wait for the official results, it appears that there are some Liberals who are already engaging in pure political cannibalism.
With hours still before the polling places closed, one of Martha Coakley campaign advisors came out swinging against the Liberals in Washington, including the White House. According to this advisor, Coakley may have taken the race for granted, but the Liberal machine in D.C. did too.
He added that Coakley held a 20 points advantage in mid-December and by January 5, that margin had evaporated to 9 points.

But the Coakley campaign was not the first to start the political cannibalism: the initial bite was taken by none other than Rahm Emanuel, followed by Gibbs and Axelrod, all pointing the finger toward Coakley and the way she run the campaign and how she waited so long to ask for help. Gibbs even insinuated how Obama himself was not happy with the way things had been run in Martha’s camp.

So what can be discerned by this show of the big guns of the Administration eating their young? One may assume that the Chicago political machine has written off the Massachusetts Senate seat and that now it is time to go to plan B in order to accomplish the agenda.

Earlier today, Ohio senator George Voinovich had a meeting with Obama. Why would a white, retiring Republican senator be of any interest to Obama? Because Voinovich has a history of going against his own Party, a history of Liberal political positions, so what it looks like is that Obama is starting to pander to those RINOs who he knows have a treasonous past. I expect that Collins and Snowe will be next on the appointment schedule for the Messiah. Of course all he needs is just one traitor to make up for the Massachusetts massacre.

Meanwhile, Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), House Majority Leader, is blaming the whole thing on the Republican Party. Let’s try to follow his logic.
According to Hoyer, the dissatisfaction shown by voters across the country and in Massachusetts in particular, is due to the obstructionism that the GOP has been employing since last summer.
He adds: “I think what the public is angry about is they see, first of all, an opposition for opposition’s sake.”
Well, Mr. Hoyer, with all undue respect, it appears to me that you are complaining about the public actually having a voice that disagrees with your agenda. You and your cohorts are mad that the American people had the audacity to contradict your plans. You, dirty elitists, cannot fathom the possibility that the "lower" masses are not happy with your Fascist take over, that we dare challenge your actions.
Well, Mr. Hoyer, get used to it. The T.E.A. Party you and your kind so smugly dismissed, those who reject wealth redistribution and governmental invasion of our lives are just getting started. This is the first day of the New American Revolution.

And than there is the always entertaining Barney Frank, who, like a good Liberal, has become an opposing force against the constitutionally guaranteed filibuster rule. He stated in a phone interview that it is time to eliminate the filibuster, that God did not create the filibuster (it is really weird to hear Barney mention God) and that the whole thing should be amended.
So, if I understand the slobbering idiot, he wants to change the US Constitution to fit his agenda, he wants to change the same rules that his Liberal kind used to block judicial nominees they did not want. When it came to stopping the nomination of judges they did not agree with, the filibuster was a good rule, but now it should be abolished. At least until the day it is convenient to the Liberals again and than Barney will want to change the rules again. That how Liberals work.

So as the political cannibalism continues, and Liberals take turns to point a finger at each other, anonymously of course, my hopes for a sound victory for Scott Brown increase.
But as I have no other interest in the game outside of my hope for the future of our Nation, I will just wait for the official results before I plan my next step. In the meantime, I just sit back and enjoy how the Liberals tear each other apart and become uneasy about the November elections, especially in California. I will tell you about it next time.

And these are my thoughts!

On The Eve Of The Revolution...

...millions of Americans silently in prayer for the people of Massachusetts.

On the eve of the Revolution, the outcome of the fight is undecided and victory remains uncertain. But the hopes of countless, common sense patriots are still at the highest level.
And I am one of those Americans who are holding their breath wishing that the common sense patriots in the New England state will stay true to the insurgence of refusal of the tyrannical policies coming from Washington.

It is the eve of the new American Revolution that is going to witness the American people rise up against the policies of a ruling class representing a political direction the people do not like and do not want. The current political leadership, the Liberal Oligarchy trying to trumple over the freedom and liberties of the American citizens, have been so blatantly unresponsive to the will of the majority of the people, that it is only fitting for a state like Massachusetts, a state that has been controlled by the elitism of the Democrats lead by the Kennedy family, to be the spear head of the country into a fight for the resurgence of the American spirit.

Tomorrow, January 19, 2010 the people of Massachussetts will elect a new Senator to represent them in the U.S. Senate. The choice will be between Obama rubberstamping Martha Cockley and Scott Brown; between a Liberal who is completely clueless about the needs of the American people outside what Obama tells her to think and a Republican looking to bring back fiscal and moral responsibility into the Senate; between a Liberal who took the people of her state so for granted that she run an abismal campaign at best and a Conservative who run a great campaign, working hard to bring his message to the people against all odds.

And even though the race shows Scott Brown in the lead, it is a demonstrated fact (see Al Franken's election in Minnesota) tha the Democrats have proven systems in place to make sure that the elections will favor their candidate. So for all intents and purposes a sense of cautious optimism is as far as level headed American Conservatives will allow themselves to go to until the elections are called.

A Scott Brown victory tomorrow will be a victory for the American people, the first victory of the New American Revolution, which will witness the entire onslaught against the rest of the Liberal power usurpers and abusers in the November 2010 elections. But even in the eventuality that Scott Brown will lose the elections, or be deprived of a legitimate victory, the significance of the message his campaign and his success will send throughout the country and to all incumbents in November will remain that a Revolution is on its way, a bloodless revolution that ultimately will bring the principles upon which our Nation was founded back into prevalence. This revolution will succeed, regardless how long it will take, because it is the will of the people and the American people are just not the kind that just accept subjugation to a despotic political elite.

There are really few differences between what is happening today and what occurred in 1776: the people are just fed up with the overbearing control on the part of a government completely out of touch with the realities of America, of every day living and struggling. In 1776 was the British monarchy in England exercising despotic powers over the American colonies. Today it is the White House monarchy in Washington D.C. exercising its totalitarian power on its colonies, namely the rest of the country. In 1776, Americans rejected King George and the British Parliament abuses; in 2010, Americans rejects King Obama and the United States Congress abuses.

So it is the eve of the Revolution. Tomorrow the first battle will be won or lost. Regardless, at times fighting the battle at all is more meaningful than the outcome.

And these are my thoughts!

Don't Take Us For Granted

15 January 2010

Liberals are getting scared of what appears to be a growing sentiment on the part of the American people that those currently running the show in Washington D.C. are abusing the power entrusted to them by the people.

From the earthquake shaping up in the Massachusetts senatorial campaign, to the cold feet that some other senators appear to be developing, the Liberal machine is pulling all the stops in their tactics of coercion, bribe and corruption.

The attacks against Scott Brown in Massachusetts are escalating in viciousness while plunging in effectiveness. His connection with Wall Street defined by an add with the World Trade Center towers in the background, is not only disgusting but certainly destined to anger people more against Coakley than Brown.

NY Sen. Chuck Schumer using the "tea bagging" approach again, most likely not even having a clue about the real meaning of the expression, unless good old Chuck has been spending a lot of times at Barney Frank's residence lately.

Nancy Pelosi dismissing what appears to be a Conservative resurgence, as the mid-term elections approach, as a media hype, but somebody was commenting that by the cracks on her face, she appeared to have had her own personal 7.4.

As the news from Massachusetts are not improving, as Scott Brown is receiving over a million dollar a day in contributions, many coming from outside the state from people who see a ray of hope for the whole country, the Democrat leadership is threatening the American people with the prospect of passing Obamacare via riconciliation.

What they are really saying is that even if the majority of the American people DO NOT want this bill to pass, they really DO NOT care about what the American people want and they will pervert the process, they will find every possible way to stick it to the American people, regardless if that makes them unpopular.

In the case of Nancy Pelosi, she is really not worried about being fired, as her constituency is solidly composed by the San Francisco concentration of degenerates and pedophiles (Code Pink) that we all know and love. And there are enough people in the country inebriated by entitlements and the idea of getting something for nothing that many of the corrupted Liberals will unfortunately maintain their seat of power.

It is still my hope that Mr. Brown will beat Coakley, sending a chilling reminder to all those in Congress, especially those up for re-election, that if the American people get pissed off enough, the unfathomable can still happen, that the majority of Americans will not stand by idle while their liberties are taken away, while a despotic government trumples all the principles we truly believe in, the same principles Obama and Co. are continuously attacking.
Those in government today may have the belief that they are intellectually superior to the common, hard working American, but they are wrong, because Americans historically have never laid down and die, and we are not about to start now.

And these are my thoughts!

No Pizza For Ben

15 January 2010

Now, this is funny!

It appears that Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson was enjoying a pizza outing with his wife and some other friends, guess he still has couple, when some patrons in the joint started to complain about the selling out that the senator had done with his decisive vote on the Obama Health Care bill.

Reports indicate that other customers joined in the manifestation of disagreement with Nelson, one woman yelling “Get him the hell out of here!”

Following the popular outburst, the Nelsons and their friends decided to quickly leave the establishment, surely having lost their appetite.
What the reports do not specify is what kind of pizza Ben had ordered and if he got to eat any of it.

Of course the Nelson declared that they did not hear the verbal rejections from the people, but that they actually had heard positive statements from some of the people at the pizza joint.
Interestingly enough I believe it, because today politicians DO NOT hear the voice of the people who sent them to serve the people.

To the people of Nebraska: next time that you are trying to enjoy that pizza and Ben Nelson walks in ruining it, throw the pizza at him. That may actually catch his attention!

Latest Obama Executive Order

14 January 2010

The following is a White House press release:

Washington, D.C.--(ENEWSPF)--January 11, 2010. The President today signed an Executive Order establishing a Council of Governors to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State Governments to protect our Nation against all types of hazards. When appointed, the Council will be reviewing such matters as involving the National Guard of the various States; homeland defense; civil support; synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.
The bipartisan Council will be composed of Ten State Governors who will be selected by the President to serve two year terms. In selecting the Governors to the Council, the White House will solicit input from Governors and Governors’ associations. Once chosen, the Council will have no more than five members from the same party and represent the Nation as a whole.

Federal members of the Council include the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas’ Security Affairs, the U.S. Northern Command Commander, the Commandant of the Coast Guard, and the Chief of the National Guard Bureau. The Secretary of Defense will designate an Executive Director for the Council.

The Council of Governors will provide an invaluable Senior Administration forum for exchanging views with State and local officials on strengthening our National resilience and the homeland defense and civil support challenges facing our Nation today and in the future.
The formation of the Council of Governors was required by the Fiscal Year 2008 National Defense Authorization Act which stated, “The President shall establish a bipartisan Council of Governors to advise the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the White House Homeland Security Council on matters related to the National Guard and civil support missions.” (NDAA FY2008, Sec 1822)

THE WHITE HOUSE Office of the Press Secretary For Immediate Release January 11, 2010.

The actual Executive Order text is one of those nebulous lawyer authored piece of writing that is designed to make no good sense. I read it and was not really impressed with the language of cooperation that was intended to inspire.
What I read was just another step toward the federal government, namely Obama himself, increasing its control and oversight of individual States.

Bringing bi-partisan state governors into a Council designed to address national security issues is a statement that gets annulled by the fact that Obama would be the one to chose the governors to sit on the Council. The executive order also opens the door for a greater control over National Guards on the part of the federal government, beyond the system currently used for the use of National Guard units under federal control for deployment to combat zones. While today these units are under federal control for areas like Iraq and Afghanistan, the order could give the government in Washington D.C. control over them for domestic deployment in the case of declaration of Martial Law.

I have stated this before and this is just another piece of the puzzle that confirms my concerns: President Obama is clearing legal obstacles for the federal government take over of much of the power in America. In the eventuality of a major cathastrophy in the country, i.e. a major terrorist attack, all the steps taken by Mr. Obama may allow him to declare Martial Law at which point he would have the control of all Military forces in the land, including National Guard units, who would practically go along with the situation as called for by their oath of allegiance.

I am not much for conspiracy theories, but any of these steps taken by Obama aimed at increasing his control over the lives of the American people are personally a great source of concern.

And these are my thoughts!

Scott Brown

13 January 2010

Even if the results of the Massachusetts special Senatorial elections are favorable to Scott Brown, the newly elected Senator may not be able to save the American Health Care system from Obama and Co. destruction.

Breitbart reports that in fashion that would make Obama and the Chicago thugs running America today proud, Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin, a Democrat, hinted that the certification of the newly elected senator could be delayed due to procedural issues. According to state law, all city and town clerks have to wait ten days following the elections to allow all absentee ballots to be counted. After that, officials have another five days to file the results for certification.

So technically, if Brown is elected, it could be well into February before he is actually sworn into the Senate. This will give the Liberals enough time to try cramming the disastrous health care bill while they still enjoy a 60 vote majority in the Senate.
Mr. Galvin had no problem bypassing such state provision in 2007 to get a fellow Democrat into the House in time to vote to override a veto of President Bush.
Of course, in the case of Brown victory, Mr. Galvin would miraculously develop a conscience and he could not possibly go against Senate rules. Who has ever heard Liberals perverting procedural rules!

If the potential obstacle posed by Galvin is not enough, a spokeswoman for Harry Reid communicated on behalf of his cadaverous boss that:

"When there is a certified winner in
Massachusetts, the Senate has received appropriate papers and the vice president is available, the successor to Kennedy/Kirk will be sworn in.”

And she added that the process may take a week or more.

So here we are, American Conservatives, looking at the chances of Mr. Brown election as a faint light at the end of the tunnel of darkness our country is in, only to surely witness, should he be victorious, hypocritical Liberals (redundant) deny him the chance of participating in a legislative process that is designed to affect the entire population. And the clincher is …and the vice president is available…which means that if Joe Biden decides to disappear for some time, there is no recourse to save America. Nobody ever know where Joe is or what the hell is doing abyway.

On the same subject, and fully convincing me that the obstructionism of Liberals to a potential Brown victory is THE contingency plan, is the exaggerated outrage of Rep. Barney Frank when asked about the possibility of Democrats stalling the certification process. Rep. Frank went on a tirade accusing everybody of the usual right wing conspiracy. He got so irate that enough spittle came out of his mouth to justify reporters running for their umbrellas. A little over the top, Mr. Barney “Purple Dinosaur” Frank.
If I was a betting man I would wager that if Coakley wins, William Galvin will probably bypass Senate rules and send her certification to Reid much more quickly, making sure that she would be seated in the Senate at the time that Obama signs the bill. And nobody would better call him out on that, because he would be doing it as a memorializing sign of respect for good old, uncle Teddy. And all who would criticize the move would be labeled racist.

So there we have it. it appears that the only way that Obamacare will be defeated is if one of the current Democrats or maybe Joe Lieberman would reverse their position and realize the cost of that deranged legislation.

As far as Scott Brown, I wish him full success as his victory would, if nothing else, send a chilling message to those in Congress who have been indignantly ignore the will of the American people.

Haiti Earthquake

13 January 2010

Yesterday the small island nation of Haiti was hit by a 7.0 earthquake, centered about 10 miles from the nation capital of Port-au-Prince.
From the preliminary reports, the devastation is horrific and wide spread. The estimated casualty level is expected to be very high.

Immediately following the breaking of the news of the seismic activity, President Obama pledged the help and support for the people of Haiti, which really means that the US Military is probably already on its way to the region.

The prompt response from the White House is a welcomed event (I wish the same could have been said about the response to the "brief bomber" attempt to kill 300 innocent people on Christmas Day) and it is obvious that no golf or basktball game was going on.

Just as it always happens when a disaster of this magnitude strikes anywhere in the world, America will respond with its generosity and compassion. The same generosity that was demonstrated after the tsunami in Indonesia or the earthquakes in Iran and China.
And all from the same America that everyone in the world loves to hate and some plot to attack and destroy.

It is not Russia or China, nor Cuba or Venezuela or Iran who will mobilized resources from both civilian and Military agency to rush to the aid the stricken people of Haiti.
Yes, it is Imperialistic America and especially its bloodthirsty Military that will reach the Haitian people and start bringing help, aid and security to them.

And the American people, even those who have suffered economically by the misguided policies of an out-of-control government, will donate some of their scarce resources to help those in greater need.

Why? Because that is what America is; that is what America has always been; that is what America has always represented for people across the globe, even when no gratitude was forthcoming or displayed.

Just another example of that American exceptionalism that Obama and his Progressive anti-American thugs are so diligently trying to eradicate.

And these are my thoughts!

Martha Coakley

12 January 2010

By now I hope all have heard about the monumental change that may be shaping up in Massachusetts as the special elections for the US Senate to replace the late Teddy Kennedy are drawing close.
What was supposed to be an unopposed shoe in for the position, may actually not be so as Martha Coakley, the ultra liberal who had been selected by the Kennedy clan for the position, may actually get a run for her ACORN money via Republican Scott Brown.

January 11 saw a debate between the two contenders during which Mr. Brown score some serious points, including the statement that the state senatorial seat belongs to the people of the state and not to Teddy Kennedy…what a concept!

But the point that in my book completely disqualifies Ms. Coakley was actually uttered by the woman herself. On the subject of Afghanistan she made this statement:

“I think we have done what we are going to be able to do in Afghanistan. I think that we should plan an exit strategy. Yes. I’m not sure there is a way to succeed. If the goal was and the mission in Afghanistan was to go in because we believed that the Taliban was giving harbor to terrorists. We supported that. I supported that. They’re gone. They’re not there anymore.”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, according to this brilliant Liberal, there are no more terrorists in Afghanistan, which come as a major revelation to me, considering that SOMEONE just killed three US Troops in the last 48 hours, considering that SOMEONE killed eight CIA operatives last week, considering that some of our troops are in daily firefights with SOMEONE in Afghanistan!

So the big question for this woman would be, who the hell do you think is doing the killing? Who do you think is killing Afghan civilians? Oh wait a minute, George Soros is going to come to her help getting Oliver Stone or Michael Moore to make one of those “true” documentaries that this is also Bush’s fault.

If the country can count on a little bit of luck, there will be enough people in Massachusetts next week elections sober enough to hand a swift defeat to Ms. Coakley. Not that there is any concern about Martha’s future as with such an in depth misunderstanding of the terrorist situation, she has a definite future in the Obama administration, maybe sitting on the lap of Janet Napolitano.
Martha Coakley will surely be tapped in her vast knowledge of terrorism matters, in capacity that will guarantee the ultimate demise of the efforts our Military has paid in blood and our treasury in taxpayers’ money.

My wishes are that the Massachusetts elections will be only the first salvo in the war against the Fascist takeover of America. With hard work and a little luck, Scott Brown will win, paving the way for the November defeat of at least Boxer, Reid and Nelson. Such development would break the 60 vote Senate stronghold that Liberals have on America, and Obama would de facto become a neutralized entity, which would give real Conservatives time to lay the foundations for a true Conservative, Republican victory in 2012.

Harry Reid

10 January 2010

News circles are going mad with the latest “scandal” about a racial statement made by Nevada senator Harry Reid during the Presidential campaign of 2008. According to a tell-all book about the elections called “Game Change”, Reid made a statement about then candidate Barak Obama chances of winning the race being good because he was a “light skinned” black man with “no Negro dialect” unless Obama wants to use it.

Reid and the Washington Liberals have gone on a massive damage control campaign since the news broke, culminating with Reid calling Obama personally and apologizing for the misguided words. Even black social leech and current slave driver Al Sharpton has come out in support of Harry Reid.
What is really amazing is the outrage coming out from the Right of the political spectrum, including RNC Chairman Michael Steele, who pointed out that there is a double standard employed by Democrats and that they can say anything they want and get a pass as soon as they utter an apology, while everyone else would be called a racist. Really, Mr. Steele? Double standard? And you just realized this?
Conservatives are calling for Reid’s resignation and all the related hoopla that can come up with, in a fashion of “gotcha ya” that is surely going to be useless and even counter-productive.

And now my thoughts on the matter.
I find absolutely fruitless all the noise that American Conservatives are making about this issue, sporting the attitude that the statement from Reid is such a shock, the outrage over the racist words so visceral that the man is not worthy of his position in Congress.
In the first place, the entire Liberal agenda championed by characters the like of Harry Reid is racist. People like Reid have made a very comfortable living exploiting racial divide in our country, insuring that American blacks would be told enough that they needed to be catered by politicians in order for their rights to be safeguarded. That might have been a reality in the 1960s but it is just a control strategy today.

Since my arrival into the United States, I have come across some characters that were extremely Liberal in their political views who were also the most appalling racists. One man who made a real good living selling insurance to union membership, overwhelmingly black, and consistently referring to them as Niggers. Another couple, Liberal, who snickered about selling their home to a black family in a predominantly white neighborhood. A very Liberal teacher who dressed all up for Jury Duty so to demonstrate to the judge that she was a professional and therefore her time was more valuable than that of the other riff-raff who reported. Another Liberal teacher openly stating that black should get all that they demand, which, if I was black, I would find terribly offensive.
Basically, it is my conviction, due to my personal experience, that Liberals are the real racists of the bunch, clinging to their hypocritical ideas of equality for all as long as they are in control and can reap benefits from it. And that’s where my opinion of Harry Reid is.

All the outrage over the senator’s statement is just misplaced and misguided, as he will not suffer any consequence for it and in just few days will be forgotten. But what cannot and should not be forgotten, and what the Conservatives of America should concentrate the most, is the terrible damage that Reid and company are perpetrating against America.
I laugh at the calls for Reid’s resignation over this incident. If Conservatives in Congress wanted the man to resign, they should have made the point when in 2007 he declared the war in Iraq lost, just as our troops were shedding their blood on the sand of that country. Does treason mean anything in America anymore? Why was the man allowed to remain in his position when he desecrated the blood and sacrifice of American troops solely for political gain?
And where was the call for the man to go away when nepotism and corruption became synonymous to his name? Or when he bribed other members of the Senate with taxpayers' money to get his agenda through? Or when he spearheaded the destruction of American health care system and 1/6 of American economy?

So, I call on the common sense Americans, especially black Americans, to not allow distractions the like of this controversy to fog up the fact that it is not a statement that should galvanize resistance against Reid and all those like him, but a concerted opposition to a Fascist ideology as it is espoused by characters like him and like Obama. They are the true racists today, aiming at keeping minorities, especially blacks, down and under control.
In 2008 Presidential elections, over 90% of American blacks voted for Obama. That is a constituency hard to let go. Keep that segment of the population dependent or racially charged and the political career is assured.

Personally, Harry Reid statement is not a revelation, but actually in line with my personal experience with Liberals. His drive toward the destruction of America's ideals and principles, on the other hand, should be targeted by all Americans.

Constitutional Amendment

9 January 2010

I am usually not in favor of changing the United States Constitution, but I received this from my Florida friend Stan and I must say that, considering the elitism and corruption so obviously in the face of the American people by Congress, I am definitely supporting this Amendment:

Proposed Amendment # 28 to the US Constitution
Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.

Basically, I support holding elected officials in Washington and at the state level to the same standards and legislative guidelines that We The People are held to.
If I, as an American living and working in the private sector, would behave fractionally like anyone of our senators or representatives, I would face prison time and definitely unemployment.

America need to send a clear message to the politicians: you are servant of the people to the country!

"Not Guilty" Plead

8 January 2010

Today, in a Michigan federal court, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab entered a not guilty plead for his attempted terrorist act on Christmas Day.
In a court hearing lasting less than five minutes, the Muslim terrorist took the first step in the further ridiculing of the American Justice System.

The judge asked him if he understood the charges and than allowed Abdulmutallab's lawyer to wave the reading of the charges. The legal feast of legal rights was offered to the man as if he had a US citizen picked up for armed robbery.

So the saga of the underprivileged, disillusioned poor angry and mistreated Muslim begins, with all the glory of a pre-hamble to the travesty that the trial of Kalid Sheik Mohammed will represnt in New York.
And before this chapter of the disastrous regime of Obama and his minions Holder and Napolitano is over, Americans will sadly witness the mockery of our Judicial System and the public condemnation of our country. Ultimately, it will be America and George W. Bush that will end up being on trial, not those Muslim terrorists who tried and/or succeeded in killing innocent Americans victims.

These actions on the part of Obama will have only one result: the emboldment of our enemies, who will eventually be successful in inflicting more death and destruction upon America.

Cowardice!

7 January 2010

Well, I guess if nothing else, one must recognize that the Liberal elite in Washington is consistent when it comes to surrender. They do not relegate that option only to the America waving the white flag to our enemies across the globe and within our borders, but they make the concept of surrender a personal choice.
Case in point is the mad rush of some of the worst Liberal corrupted politicians to just quit.

Since the beginning of the year, we already have two Democrat Senators announcing that they are not going to seek re-election in the November mid-term elections. North Dakota Byron Dorgan and one of my favorite, one of the main architect of one of the worst real estate recession in American history, Connecticut Chris Dodd.

As I am trying to wipe my tears of sorrow for the great loss that the United States Senate is going to suffer for the retirement of Sen. Dodd, I am consoled only by the thought that Al Franken will be soiling the sacred halls of that legislative body for years to come.

What is really going on among the Liberal elite? Simply put, the rats are abandoning the sinking ship. The tide against them is starting to creep up from all kind of directions and the Liberals are engaging in the only strategy they are all too familiar with: surrender and quit.
The agenda of the Liberals, as it started to develop after the 2006 mid-term elections, appears to have finally hit a brick wall called the American People. The wave of progressivism that had pervaded the electorate, thanks to the unabashed and bias campaigning done by the Media and augmented by the shady activities of Marxists like George Soros and groups like ACORN, was ultimately sealed by the election of an extremely radical man into the White House.

Inebriation from power took hold of the throngs of Liberals in Congress and in the White House, inspired by a misguided electoral victory that was more due to the dissatisfaction of the American Conservatives with false Republicans like McCain and Graham and several others. The so called RINOs.
Following the 2006 elections, the Conservative movement took a major beating, witnessing an unimaginable shift of Republicans toward the Left, surely fueled by a greater interest in winning the next election more than the following of personal principles. Riding the progressive wave!

The election of Obama to the Presidency appeared to have sealed the direction the country was going. The man embarked on the most aggressive, radical transformation of the free America so many have died for over the years into a Marxist nation the like of so many European countries. From Health Care to Cap and Trade, the takeover of the financial industry and the car industry, the attempts to give free rein to Unions and subversive groups (ACORN), Obama marched the country toward his utopist dream of absolute power.

But the disastrous economic conditions and the even worst foreign policy situation have awaken a large multitude of American people.
The Media and the political spinners have even tried to tell the American people that unemployment is not really that bad, allowing families to spend more time together. Amazing!
And the American people do not easily resign to being told that their voice is insignificant because their elected officials are more intellectually apt to make decisions. And this coming from people like Nancy Pelosi, who has never had to make a honest living in her life.

What the American people also do not appreciate is a President, a Commander-in-Chief, to go around the world apologizing for America to our sworn enemies. Physically bowing to foreign leaders and figuratively bowing to Muslims who have and still are trying to destroy us does not sit well with true Americans, especially those whose loved ones are currently in the Military, sacrificing and dieing to keep terrorists away from our cities.
Actions like wanting to close Gitmo; giving a public forum to the masterminds of the 9-11-01 attacks to spew their anti-American venom in an American court room at American taxpayers expenses; treating terrorists as criminals (which did not work for Clinton as 9-11-01 demonstrated); delaying the needed troop increase in Afghanistan; refusing to acknowledge Islamic terrorism as it manifested itself in Ft. Hood and on Christmas Day; and the list goes on and on. All is creating a deep sense of dissatisfaction among those who rejected Obama and his cronies in 2008 and in many that actually voted these losers into office. Buyer’s remorse!

So many American people got fed up with the whole thing, as the Tea Parties of Summer 2009 demonstrated. Supporters of Obama and Pelosi and Reid agendas got an earful from common citizens, people who work and pay taxes, people who live every day with the fear of a black sedan pulling up to the front door to announce that their loved one will not come home, because our enemies got emboldened by the reticence of our government to provide a clear strategy for, dare I say, VICTORY!
And the proof of the impact of the Tea Parties is apparent in the vicious attacks that the Administration, Congress and the prostituting Media have conducted against them. If they were as insignificant as they would like us to believe, they would not dedicate so much time to criticize them.

So the polls are not too favorable for these Liberals for the upcoming elections and they want to abandon ship like the rats they are. Quit before you’re fired!
Harry Reid and Barbara Boxer may have a hard time avoiding being fired in November, while Ben Nelson is very likely going to be shown the door.
Sen. Nelson, who was holding up the required 60th senatorial vote for the passage of the Health disaster bill just before Christmas until he was promised a healthy bribe by Reid, is today stating publicly that he considers Obama tackling of Health Care reform too premature. How long before Sen. Nelson will announce his resignation?

Cowards! It is the only way to describe the attitude of most Democrats in Congress and many Republicans. And the American people have the chance, in November 2010, to show these spineless weenies the proverbial door.

Fire Them All!
