The health of America is much better guarded today. Reported is the news that the National Institute of Health has funded a study conducted by the New York Psychiatric Institute that sent researchers in the bars of Argentina. The study revolves around the dangerous sexual behavior exhibited by gay men when they are drunk. The purpose of the study is to design HIV prevention programs that would be targeted to bars and clubs.
And the American taxpayers can be proud to have “contributed” to this South American venture at the tune of $400,000. Isn’t it great? Don’t you feel good just about now?

So, if I understand the situation in my non-elitist, feel-good, simple mind, my money paid for some researchers from a hospital in New York to take a tour of bars and clubs in Argentina to study the sexual behavior of Argentinean gay men who get drunk and engage in risky encounters. Really?!
I am not gay, nor from Argentina, nor I frequent bars or clubs and I could have saved the taxpayers’ money by telling them the same results they got from their little South American vacations: gay men meet in bars where they get drunk and retire to the alley on the back of the bar and do their things. Enough said. All it was needed was a little common sense, plus I would like to know why the study had to be conducted in Argentina. Aren’t American gay men good enough? All they had to do was to cross the country to San Francisco and they would have had all the sample needed.
"Targeting public venues in Buenos Aires where men meet, alcohol is consumed and sexual behavior occurs," the project's overview explains, "the goal of this 2-year exploratory study is to understand the various factors that contribute to the creation of a high risk sexual space."
Two year exploratory study, basically someone needed to justify his or her high paying government job for at least two years. Of the $400,000, almost half has already been spent on this travesty that started in Sept. 2008. Surely the moron taxpayers will have to dish out some more money when the funds run out.

Question: wouldn’t it be interesting to find out the involvement of Chuck Schumer in this deal?

And talking about pillaging, it is reported that the state of Massachusetts is giving free cars to welfare recipients. The cars come from charities that collect them from citizens, but the government of the state pays for the insurance and maintenance of them and even membership to AAA.
Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick, a Democrat of course, is a big proponent of the program, which, he says, is designed to help those on welfare to have transportation to search for work, at the tune of $400,000 per year all on the shoulders of the people of Massachusetts.
While the idea to give people down on their luck a way to help themselves is a noble one, it is also reported that at least 20% of those who receive the program benefit remain or return into the welfare system. In such case, they get to keep their car although they do not receive the additional benefits.

Another example of how the Liberal establishment is enslaving the American people. Make them dependent on the government and you will insure your re-election.
