Remember when Attorney General Holder called Americans cowards? I sure do, and at the time I took exception to his assessment of the racial bias that he still sees in America today, especially after a black man was elected President and Holder himself had become the first black AG.
Today reports are hitting the News of the Justice Department, yes the same place where Holder makes his living doing Obama’s bidding, has dropped the charges against three members of the New Black Panthers who had been filmed intimidating the voters at a Philadelphia voting location on November 8, 2008.
As the case was already won, the DoJ decided to drop the charges against the three thugs ‘after careful consideration of the evidences and the law’ meaning that they are just feeding a line of bull to the American people (what’s one more, right?)
As the video made its runs across America, the then Bush Administration brought charges against the men for voter intimidation, use of racial slurs and appearing in military-style uniforms while brandishing a weapon. Holder’s DoJ saw fit to drop the charges and only tell the one thug with the baton that he has to refrain from carrying the weapon in the future.
So, what’s the deal with this? Well there are two possible scenarios of the situation.
First, AG Holder has retreated under the pressure coming from Obama, in which case the good old AG is much more of a coward than anyone else in America.
Second, and where I put my money, is that the New Black Panthers are part of that OFA volunteer force that Obama is going to give the power and training similar to the one our Military gets. These thugs had the courage to go to a voting poll and exercise their intimidation on the voters walking into the place to exercise their civil right to a vote, clearly in violation of the law and all the punishment they received was a “don’t do it again, ok?” and no outrage has come from any of the bleeding hearts Liberals. Can one picture what the reaction would have been if it would have been three KKK nutcases? Who could have stopped Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, the ACLU, MSNBC, CNN, Shepard Smith, Geraldo Rivera, Dick Durbin, Sean Penn, and who knows who else from marching into the streets, and rightfully so.
After scouring CNN and MSNBC web sites to see what they reported on this piece of News, I could not find any mention of it, not that I expected it.
So what point have we reached? We have reached the point where the Obama regime is clearly placing itself above the rule of law and it is doing it in an open fashion, without taking too much care in hiding the abuse of power, safe in the believe that between the accusation of racism, the collaboration from the Media and the impotence of the Republican minority in Congress, they will not be called to task on these flagrant acts of abuse.
The picture of the baton-wielding thug is one that probably we need to get sort of used to, because it will be even more common in 2012 as the ranks of the strong arm of the Obama regime are going to swell up thanks to the American taxpayers’ “contributions” to OFA and ACORN.
I must say that the complete defeat of America was a brilliant strategy on the part of the Left. It started in the Universities and it has finally reached the highest levels of power.
Well Americans, as much as it pains me to say this, I don’t really know if America will ever come back from this disgrace and I am beginning to believe that the assertion of America’s best days being gone may be a reality that many of us will have to learn to live with.
You think I am exaggerating? Well, let me review.
The economy of the country is bankrupted, with the debt so high it will take several generations to pay for. And with all the trillions of dollars wasted, the unemployment continues to grow and the tax revenue continues to shrink, bringing even more debt. Many Americans are in economic dire conditions with no real light at the end of the tunnel except for Government aid.
The nationalization of American industries and the threat of Socialized Medicine is an overt attempt to centralize in the government entities that have been historically the pillars of our economic system and of American prosperity.
The damage done to the anti-terrorist intelligence via the reckless divulging of the CIA memos is incalculable and will be felt soon, I fear. The return of anti-terrorist activity to pre-9/11 methodology, treating it as a law enforcement issue, is and will make America more vulnerable to a new and more devastating attack (does anyone really believe that N. Korea or Iran would hesitate to provide nuclear weaponry to terrorists?)
The creation of a government sponsored and paid para-military force (Organization For America) that will be trained as the US Military is a clear attempt to create a sub force that would be loyal not to America and the US Constitution, but to Obama.
Direct attacks against the Constitutional rights of Americans, especially as it refers to the Second Amendment is a clear attempt to create an atmosphere that will make it easy for the government to disarm the citizenry further eliminating any chance of resistance.
The worst things get for the average American citizen and the higher possibility of a devastating attack against innocent Americans, the more the chances for Obama to succeed in the total obtainment of power. I have said it before and I believe it even more every day, but the more dire the individual situation for the usually uninformed average American becomes, coupled with the high possibility of a disaster the like, or worst, of September 11, would give the man the opportunity to suspend Constitutional rights and invoking absolute powers, all under the impotent eye of the in-name-only political opposition in Congress and of American people who will be looking at the government as their savior.
Remember Rohm Emmanuel statement that a crisis should not be let go to waste, and it is even more ominous when it comes to the Left political power.
As usual I hope I am wrong!
And these are my thoughts!
