The Jewish Bird

By Semperpapa

Just few days after he had announced his participation, officials from the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have told reporters that the Prime Minister will not after all attend a conference regarding the dangers of terrorists acquiring nuclear weapons. The conference, which will be attended by President Obama, will take place in Washington DC next week.

The reason given by Netanyahu for ditching the conference is that there is suspicion that the gathering will be a forum some nations participating will use to gang up on the State of Israel for its nuclear program.

Tel Aviv has for ever kept its nuclear program sort of secret, never denying or confirming possessing any nuclear weapons. Such stand has fueled the Arab states condemnation, as if Israel needed to provide any more reasons for Arabs to hate.

And who can really blame the Israeli government. They are surrounded by nations and people that do not want to coexist, but they want, in actuality, for the Zionist state to just plain disappear.
Countless times, the fool from Teheran, Ahmedinejad, has expressed his deep lust for the destruction of the state of Israel, a sort of maniacal obsession that in recent years has moved from a position of typical radical Muslim rhetoric, to a much more dangerous level with the march of the Iranian theocracy toward the acquisition of such weapons.

For years, the reluctance on the part of Tel Aviv to disclose its nuclear capabilities and leaving the “ambiguity’ floating around the Middle East, has had the desired result of keeping the enemy guessing.
But the fall of the Soviet Union that left the Russian government in desperate need of cash, has created a bonanza of opportunities for rouge regimes like Iran to acquire the necessary knowledge and technology to enter the nuclear energy club, only a short step from possessing nuclear weapons.

The watchdog which was supposed to prevent such occurrence, the IAEA (read United Nations), has continuously closed its eyes in the face of blatant infringement of international laws regarding nuclear energy matters, on the part of China, Russia, North Korea and Iran. All the while, continuing to put pressure on the United States and other Western nations to curtail their capabilities.

And just this week, Obama signed another nuclear treaty with Russia, (what is this one, number 235 or so) aimed solely at a unilateral level of arms reductions, making America less safe in the process.

It just defies any logic to even discuss unilateral nuclear weapons reduction, unilateral pledge against nuclear weapons, while terrorism sponsoring regimes are ramping up their intent to arm.

So I am glad that Benjamin Netanyahu flipped his Jewish bird at this conference, as it must be getting old to be always the focal point of international organizations attacks and vilification. And Israel has a lot of experience in that field, as the United Nations have demonstrated for the last 30 years to be the worst anti-Semitic organization since the National Socialist Party in Germany.

Just my thoughts!
