Supporting Arizona

By Semperpapa

We are all aware of the anti illegal immigration bill that was passed in Arizona (if you are not, I hope your coma is temporary), and we are all aware of the vitriol that the measure has given birth to in just about every liberal/progressive crevice of the lunatic Left and the Anarchist movement.

Besides being in total support of the Arizona bill, I am taking note of some of the most outrageous examples of unhinged behavior that is being so well publicized by the MSM.
The protests taking place on the streets in Arizona were predictable, as was the hoodlums with the Mexican flag marching and chanting on American soil, in the always amusing belief that flying a foreign flag furthers their cause.
Even the intrusion of the merchants of the new slavery Al Sharpton and Jessi Jackson was predictable, as it was the misguided words of Obama, who never misses an opportunity to denigrate the American people.

Added to the fray is the amusing boycott that the city of San Francisco is calling against Arizona. That city mayor, the infamous Gavin Newsom, has suspended all non-essential travel of city employees to the southern state, while the city council is taking steps for the imposition of economic boycott, meaning the possible suspension of existing contracts and ban on new ones.

While the liberal progressives running rampant in SF are obviously ecstatic about their city leaders hasty move, those in the hospitality industry who rely so much on the type of business Newsom wants to boycott, are naturally nervous about the move, as it may have crippling effects on their businesses. Newsom has created a commission, the Arizona Boycott Workgroup, charged with analyzing the backlash the boycotting of Arizona could generate.
It is only obvious that there would be retaliation on the part of Arizona officials, and surely the whacko in SF will be incensed by it, because only their actions are justified and pure.

On line web sites are urging sport agencies like NBA and NFL to also boycott Arizona, while businesses based in that state, like U-Haul and PetSmart are also being targeted.
Considering that the Arizona Governor got a 16% boost in her constituency’s favorability after signing the bill, these businesses can forecast a good increase in revenue.

Interestingly, many of the so-called “sanctuary cities”, where illegal immigrants are officially welcomed, are not pushing each other out of the way in welcoming the over 400,000 illegal immigrants currently estimated to live in Arizona. One would think that Fort Worth, Texas or Albuquerque, New Mexico or San Francisco itself would be rushing to the aid of the poor illegals by exhorting them to migrate to their areas.
The truth, which is like sprinkling Holy Water on the devil, is that the leadership of these cities and states do not want these people, as they already are aware of the strain they cause any social structure. When asked, the liberal roaches just scatter away.

In an even more amusing move, the Mexican government has issue travel warnings for its citizens for Arizona. That, in my opinion, should have been done, and heeded, before the 440,000 illegals “traveled” to Arizona.
I also find very interesting that the travel warning is coming from a government which practically is under siege from drug cartels, where scores of people are being killed every day.

What I do not find amusing, though, is complete ignorance of the law on the part of the people and, most of all, of elected politicians from the President on down.
But in the current climate of unconstitutionality, I guess this is just another factor to be taken into consideration in November.

Just my thoughts!
