Treason Republican Style

By Semperpapa

Is it a wonder that the Democrats are able to get all the Socialist agenda they want done? With Republicans in Congress like Oklahoma senator Tom Coburn, it appears that the American people have but few actual allies left in Washington DC.

During a town hall meeting, the good senator actually came out and told his constituency that Nancy Pelosi was really a good person, that Obamacare really was not going to put people in jail and that people should not be listening to Fox News.

Ok, so I say, WTF is going on? What has changed in the senator to trigger this about face? How can a person go from telling the American people that the passing of Obamacare was going to mean that people were going to die, to hint that the there are many “myths” about Obamacare being exploited by Fox News?

It appears to me that something drastic happened to the man between the Obamacare vote and his trip home. It appears to me that at some point, Queen Pelosi or King Obama must have had some sort of a conversation with the Oklahoma senator, where some kind of carrot was offered or some form of extortion threatened.

As far as Pelosi being a nice person, I am more convinced that Ayman Al-Zawahiri is a nice grandfather. The countless rumors of Nancy’s attitude with those she has power on are too many to be all lies. From the treatment of the Air Force personnel that mans her Pelosi One Boeing 757 to those working under her, a clear image forms of this power hungry, broom flying, pompous poor excuse for a woman, with all the tendencies and desires of being the queen of the Socialist dictatorship Obama is trying to change our country into.

And Fox News was a good pulpit from which blowing smoke into the American Conservatives eyes before the Obamacare vote, or before the Progressives got to Mr. Coburn.

So which is it, Senator? Were you promised some lucrative pork spending with some personal “incentive” or maybe they are sitting on some scandalous revelations that you want to keep out of the papers?

It is sad when We the People are reduced to mistrust the leaders of our beloved Nation the way I have grown to mistrust. And the words of Sen. Coburn felt as good as a swift kick in the groin, as I would expect such treason from the Liberals, but I thought Coburn was a straight guy, albeit a politician.

Just another great disappointment. I, living in California, at least know already the garbage that represents my state in Congress, but I had held some hopes via Coburn for the US Senate as a whole. Guess was wrong. Tom Coburn has now joined the ranks of the traitors of America, together with Graham, Collins, Snowe and Voinovich.

Just my thoughts.
