At The Last Minute

By Semperpapa

A naturalized citizen from Pakistan was nabbed at JF Kennedy airport as he was one step away to leave for Dubai.
Faisal Shahzad, 30, was reportedly removed from the flight by federal investigators and taken into custody. His home in Bridgeprt, Conn, was also raided and several plastic bags were seen being removed from the residence.

This is all very good news for clear thinking Americans, which leaves the progressives out of the loop. Great disappointment must be pervading the unwashed throngs as they were surely hoping that the scum was some disgruntled redneck Tea partier from Kentucky.
Oh well, win one lose one!

Now the question becomes how fast can the federal government screw the case up.
Napolitano still has not come out calling the attempt "terrorism" or "man made disaster" or anything like it, while AG Eric Holder has promised that all involved will be sought so that, like the Black Panthers case, charges can be dropped.

And before the end of the day, we will probably hear some character from CAIR come out accusing the government of profiling innocent Muslims.

This is shaping up to be interesting.

Just my thoughts!
