Third Front Of The War

By Semperpapa

The controversy regarding the Arizona anti-illegal immigration law continues, with several calls for boycott against the state, and other demonstrations of the level of total insanity reached by the proponents of the leftist agenda.
From that poor excuse for an oxygen consumer like Al Sharpton to the entire Phoenix Suns organization, there is enough for common sense lovers across the Nation to rally on the side of the Arizonians.

The dapper Sharpton is still vowing to lead civil disobedience in Arizona, crying that the state will have to arrest all of them, which once again instills comical images of Sharpton having to change from his expensive Italian suits into a much better suited pink prison garb.

And the Phoenix Suns, who sported jerseys with “Los Suns” on them for their May 5th game. Stated was the organization’s position against the law passed by the state legislature, which once again reinforces my personal reasons why I have absolutely no use for professional sport figures.

While all this is happening, May 5th has come and gone, with demonstrations across the nation by people flying the Mexican flag. Someone should tell the organizers from La Raza and the other illegal immigrants community activists, is that flying a foreign flag on our soil while demanding “rights” may not be the best way to advance your cause to the majority of the country.

Well there is something new too I found on Fox News on line. It is a new film coming out by the controversial director Robert Rodriguez called Machete. A violent movie depicting some Mexican assassin trying to kill a US Senator and being double crossed.
Here is the trailer, which I wanted to watch for the purpose of writing this article. You can actually spare yourself some aggravation, but I leave it up to you.

http://www.heatvisionblog.com/2010/05/machete-trailer-arizona-cinco-de-mayo.html

According to the article, the very few seconds of the trailer were recently added so that the director could send his personal message to the people of Arizona about his opinion on the recently signed law.
In these few seconds, the main character, a scruffy beaten looking Mexican, calls to Arizona a Cinco de Mayo message of intimidation.

The controversial Rodriguez, who is fortunately a total unknown to me, was not reachable for any comments after the trailer appeared, obviously he is the typical liberal cucaracha that hides in the dark.
20th Century Fox, stated that they did not see anything wrong with the trailer, and that the flick represents the director’s point of view and not the company’s political stance. More cowardice, although the publicity must be most welcomed.
And the CEO of the film’s production company, some Ashok Amritraj of Hyde Park Enterteinment, stated

"'Machete' is a Robert Rodriguez movie through and through, wild and wonderful, exactly the kind of exciting and irreverent genre movie that his fans dream about,"
I am dreaming as I write!

So, if I understand correctly, a violent, anti-American sovereignty flick is the talk of the town, Hollywood that is, for the message against the racist notion that our laws and our borders must be protected.

What would be the reaction if someone would make a movie about immigration of Americans from every state of the Union into Arizona, lining up the border and similarly repel the invasion our country has been victim of for years?
How fast would the government stop such “hate speech”?
Well I believe that the trailer alone qualifies as “hate speech”, especially after the direct mention of a threat of violence against one of our states. So where is the ACLU? Where is the federal government? Why aren’t they coming out protesting open incitement to violence?

Oh, silly of me, it fits their agenda.

Just my thoughts!

  1. I saw Jay Leno at Correspondent Dinner his best line was; “That was my favorite story (this year) Republicans and a Lesbian bondage club. It’s ironic, Republicans don’t want lesbian getting married but they do like watching them “tie the knot”. So I thought that was interesting.”

You can say the same about Tea Party (they are haters not debaters or as others have dubbed them screamers not dreamers), they say they respect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence but they do not mind passing laws, through weak Governors (no one voted for this crazy) who only care about getting reelected on the backs of undocumented workers, that will not pass Constitution muster, just like Arizona’s House Bill 2779 from two years ago and your MLK Day ban, keep passing them Arizona and the rest of us will continue to challenged them in a court of law and you will fail again (and yes we will Boycott Arizona). Their phony patriotism is sickening; they are just racists going by another name. We all know you are just itching to put a sheet on their head? Let’s face it the Republicans had eight years to deal with health care, immigration, climate change and financial oversight and governance and they failed. It appears that the Republican Party is only good at starting wars (two in eight years, with fat contracts to friends of Cheney/Bush) but not at winning wars as seen by the continuing line of body bags that keep coming home. The Republicans party will continue turned inward to their old fashion obstructionist party (and their Confederacy appreciation roots) because they continue to allow a small portions (but very loud portion) of their party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” to rule their party. I will admit that this fringe is very good at playing “Follow the Leader” by listening to their dullard leaders, Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush, Savage, Sarah Bailin, Orly Taitz, Victoria Jackson, Michele Bachmann and the rest of the Blowhards and acting as ill programmed robots (they have already acted against doctors that perform abortions). The Birthers and the Tea party crowd think they can scare, intimidate and force others to go along with them by comments like “This time we came unarmed”, let me tell you something not all ex-military join the fringe militia crazies who don’t pay taxes and run around with face paint in the parks playing commando, the majority are mature and understand that the world is more complicated and grey than the black and white that these simpleton make it out to be and that my friend is the point. The world is complicated and people like Hamilton, Lincoln, and Roosevelt believed that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now it’s about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. For a party that gave us Abraham Lincoln, it is tragic that the ranks are filled with too many empty suits and the crazy Birthers who have not learned that the way our courts work is that you get a competent lawyer, verifiable facts and present them to a judge, if the facts are real and not half baked internet lies, then, and only then, do you proceed to trial. The Birthers seem to be having a problem with their so called “facts”. Let’s face it no one will take the Birthers seriously until they win a case, but until then, you will continue to appear dumb, crazy or racist, or maybe all three. I heard that Orly Taitz now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC), she wants to re-establish a family values party, that’s like saying that the Catholic Church cares about the welling being of children in their care, too late for that. Yee Haw!

  2. The only racist in the conversation is actually you, my friend.
There are two kind of you who love big government: one kind is the one that gets wealthy by being part of the government and therefore believe that you are part of the elite who knows better than everyone else; and there is the one who gets shit for free from the government via entitlements.
Either one is in it just for themselves, which makes you a racist.

The role of the government is pretty well defined in the Constitution, you should try reading it sometime. And if you think that any president, Republican that is, is eager to start wars, than you are just too far gone to even talk about it.
If your boy Clinton would have been just as interested in what was on his desk as he was about what was under it, maybe, just maybe, there would have been no reason to start any war, and the WTC would still be there.

You accuse us to be itching to put white sheets over our heads, but what you want instead is no borders and no rules and no guidelines for cinduct outside yours. You want to dictate what the rest of us must do because you are the smart one. I am so damn sick and tired of morons like you calling me a racist just because I believe in the rule of law.

If you want socialism/marxism/fascism there are many countries out there who can accommodate your desires. I am sure they would take you in with the same eagerness as you want to take illegals into our society.

    Other than that get lost!
    See you in November.
