Time To Pull The Plug

By Semperpapa

The United Nations seldom fails to prove its uselessness these days, and, once again, the actions of the organization are proving that it is high time to pull the plug on this farce.

The UN Human Rights Council met in Geneva, Switzerland, last Friday and the issue on the agenda was the human rights abuses committed by…the United States.

The commission, which sees as members countries like China, Cuba, Libya and Saudi Arabia, were taking on the serious issues of the violations committed by America against Muslims and to address the “barbaric” conduct of police forces against suspects.

Accusations against the United States came from a variety of countries.
From Russia, there was a call for the abolition of the death penalty. It is unclear if the Russian delegates suggested that “social undesirable” would instead be clandestinely poisoned at the convenience of the State.

From China and Iran, came accusations against the operation of Guantanamo Bay prison facility. Interesting, as both countries are well known for holding political prisoners in prison for undetermined lengths of time. And all without any judicial proceedings, usually until the detainees are forgotten and conveniently “disappear.”

Indonesia, the most populous Muslim nation in the world, complained about the religious intolerance in America. It is not known if the accusations of the delegation from Indonesia were accompanied by any self deprecating admission of the persecution of Christians in that country conducted by Laskar Jihad and tolerated by the complacent government.

The most disturbing part of the whole Human Right Commission travesty is that the members took on the criticism of the United States after a report of alleged violation was delivered by Sec. of State Hillary Clinton just few months ago.
Such action, obviously instigated by President Obama himself, combined to the reports fed to the commission by a myriad of organizations inside the United States, has given long time enemies of America ammunitions to attack us at the international level.

It is also sort of ironic that these organizations, which are free to operate against the interests of the United States from within, are able to do so in complete freedom thanks the U.S. Constitution. If one percent of the accusations leveled against the US were real, these organizations would be prevented from engaging so openly in their anti-American diatribes.

The submission of our country to the hyper-bias scrutiny of an organization that has fallen under the control of Cuba and Venezuela and Iran, has been just another major mistake of the Obama administration. At least this is the opinion of some of the apologist of Obama. But was it really a mistake? A miscalculation?
Some people may be ready to give a pass to the President on this one, claiming that the intention was to show the world that Obama wanted to take America into a “new direction”, diametrically opposed to the one President Bush had taken. Apologists say that Obama had to try to amend relations with the international community and they are fine with the idea of a US President surrendering the nation to enemy scrutiny.

Personally, I believe that President Obama is purposely allowing the ever-increasing interference of the United Nation in the internal affairs of America. It is Obama’s way to ingratiate himself with the totalitarian despots of countries like China, Venezuela and Iran to the purpose of establish a friendship of convenience which would allow Obama to declare some sort of personal victory over the imperialistic image that he has formed of our country.
Moreover, just as Adolf Hitler admired Benito Mussolini and the Italian dictator’s grab of power for Fascism in the early 1920s, Obama admires those thugs like Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro, who have accomplished a total, dictatorial control over their people using the people themselves. There could be no other reason why campaign offices for Obama would be allowed to sport giant posters of the murderous Che Guevara on their walls.

To such end, Obama will continue to surrender to the United Nations and the global corruption that has characterized its existence for decades. Obama has obviously no qualms in subjecting the American people to the scrutiny of a conglomerate of declared enemies of the American people.
The only defense Americans have is to begin pushing the elected officials to engage in a vigorous campaign aimed at accomplish the complete detachment of America from the UN.

Our government should immediately suspend any funding for the organization and give a 30-day eviction notice to every international delegate in New York associated with that international body.
In other words, pull the plug.

Just my thoughts!

  1. I could not agree more.
Isn't it funny, that the John Birch Society has been calling for this very same thing for over 30yrs.

We have been warned. Repeatedly over the years! But what have we done about it? NOTHING! Instead, we make fun of those who've tried to tell us, tried to warn us that these very things have been happening since the first incarnation of the U.N.! The League of Nations.

Why are we just now giving credence to these warnings??? Is it because it took Obama being elected as President for us to "Finally" see the light? The Truth behind the U.N.???

But I suggest that still NOTHING will ever be done about it.

Why? Because nearly every U.S. Corporation is in bed with the U.N. at some level. Be it International Banking, Trade or what have you.
They all Kiss the Bloody Ass of the U.N.

Hell our own banking system is completely intertwined in the U.N. As well as our Stock Markets.

At what point will the American People... The real Patriots take back their country?

After it has been taken away and then dismantled by our enemies?

Obama said what he meant when he referred to us as the enemy. That was no Freudian slip...

  2. I agree that the tentacles of the UN run deep into the economic realm of our country. I also agree that the reversal of this situation may take a lot of effort on the part of dedicated people, both politicians and common Americans.
The main thing is to create a voice, a popular cry for the people at the top to understand that business as usual is no longer just accepted by the people.
As we have seen with the TEA party, the power of the American people is something the leadership HAS to contend with, or else.
