Who Gets The Royal Waiver?

By Semperpapa

As bits and pieces of the Obamacare disaster become known and take effect upon the American people, the destructive nature of the legislation becomes increasingly disturbing for both corporations and American individuals.

But there appears to be a way out, at least for selected entities.

As reported and investigated by Michelle Malkin, the Obama regime has granted waivers to about 111 different companies. Basically, these companies are going to be exempted from having to comply with the fascist provisions of the legislation.

Couple of months ago, the fast food giant McDonald was able to secure a waiver from the White House after announcing that the company was going to be forced to drop the coverage of about 30,000 employees.

Many of the other 111 organizations that have so far been able to purchase a waiver from Obama, many are labor unions.

That is an obvious payback that the regime, from Obama to Congress, is giving these organizations for the thug-like support that the unions have given to liberals.

Waivers have been given to restaurant chains and cable franchises, all on the basis that the companies would only be able to provide affordable health care coverage for their employees if allowed to opt out of the provisions of Obamacare.

My question at this point is this: how do I get a royal wave?

By the look of things, it remains a mystery to me how can the political leadership in favor of the camouflaged provisions of the legislation can with a straight face tell the American people that the so-called reform is in the best interest of the people.

In the first place, if this is such a good law for the people, why is then Congress exempting itself from it?

Moreover, there is no possibility for thinking Americans not to question the assertion, on the part of labor unions leaderships, that Obamacare is such a great step for the people of America, while at the same time finding out that many of these unions are granted waivers from it.

What it really comes down to, just as it was in the days of Mussolini and Hitler and Stalin, a totalitarian regime is one that affords special treatment to those entities that promote the enlargement of governmental control over the people. Similarly, the Obama regime is willing and able to impart a preferential treatment to those organizations that most likely will bring a benefit to it.

After the results of the last elections, the message should have been clear to the administration, provided that Obama would actually listen to the American people.

The farce that Obamacare represents has been rejected by the majority of the American people. As time goes by, the fatal words of Nancy Pelosi ring into my ears: you have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it. And those words are literally enraging for those Americans who sounded the alarm two years ago.

Well, the bill has been passed and nothing from it that has become known is good or exciting for the people and the industry.

So what we have left today is to either hope that the royal waivers keep on coming, so that all people get one, or that those politicians who were elected last Nov. 2nd will actually do the business of the people and work incessantly to get the awful legislation repealed.

Just my thoughts!
